People really need to stop crying about how it wasn't a bond movie, had a love story, not enough gadgets, etc. I'm tired of hearing it, all they want is cheap thrills. I say go watch XXX or Mi:3 for that! Glad to see Bond back in his roots.

It was a different type of Bond, much more gritty. I kind of wanted more of that. Daniel Craig was an excellent choice.

Overall, a pretty good movie. The ending could have been a bit more put together, but as long as you don't think about it too much, it was good.

Good Bond movie IMO. I like Daniel Craig, and the whole new relaunch thing. The movie lags a bit in the middle, but other than that it was quite good, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!

Not a Bond fan, but picked the movie since I knew it would satisfy my two guy friends who love the series. I think they walked away fairly satisfied. I walked away pretty happy too. I was expecting more action and what not, since that's what my friends hyped up with the Bond movies, and I was a little disappointed with some of the sequences. However, Daniel Craig was sex, which totally made up for it. Would see the movie again purely for that factor.

When Goldeneye came out they where playing old bond movies on TNT. I was about in my mid teens. After that I was hooked on Bond films. Even the old one's. I have all the old ones on VHS. To be honest I was starting to get disappointed with the ones after Goldeneye. They seemed like they where made for the A.D.D generation. While I'm 26 now, I still enjoyed the 1960 bond movies. After seeing this latest Bond the first thing that I said after the movie was, "About God damn time they make a real Bond film again!" Best Bond film yet!

i havnt seen the movie yet so i cant criticize too much, but isnt this movie supposed to take place before all the other bond movies? i just dont like how young bond is played by old looking daniel craig.

New Bond rocks so much more than all the others

The way in which he was swinging that rope, Le Chiffre would've merely been smacking the bottom of his dick upward, which wouldn't have hurt, unless Bond was maintaining a rock hard errection for some reason. Trust me, he was smaking him in the balls.....

It made No. 2 in the US because [us] Americans rather see animated dancing penguins(Happy Feet) over a real movie. I hate the US..

I thought it was a cool movie, it had great action.

In all honesty though, the plot was WAY too complicated for a bond film. They introduced too many "bad" guys.

The pacing was off, it felt as though it should have ended in about 3 spots, and then where it did end, left me very unsatisfied.

I had no problem with them taking the Bond franchise to a gritty level where he gets down and dirty with the bad guys and kicks there ass in the process. I liked that he made some rookie mistakes.

I can forgive the no gadgets(although it did hurt slightly), but I have a hard time forgiving the lamest of lame on screen romances that seemed so forced, and the whole scene in Venice seemed so last minute and just added in there, that I had a hard time enjoying it.

It is a great action movie, I thought the way they did the opening scene was top notch. I just didn't think it was a great Bond film.

Definitely see it.

I'm sorry but I haven't been so bored during a movie for a long time. I didn't mind Daniel Craig, but why did it have to be about a game of poker??? It took like an hour for the game to end.

They way they edited it was a bit confusing. I thought there was a scene that was sensored when they cut the poker scene. They should've given a warning during the scene transition (like fade to white) so that viwers know that the cut was intentional. Other than that, the movie was excellent.

Goldeneye: great movie with much european nuance, okay story, still got the touch.

I work a theater with 7 digital projectors... and this movie is tight on it..

It has some of the over-done bond vs the world moments, but they are fairly minimal and make it one of the best bonds since the days of sean connery.

I mean new movies will constantly make more money than the previous ones with time! The prices always go up.
So the next James Bond will outdo this one probably..

Its defientley a lot different from recent Bond films,
but i seemed to really like it.

They said this Bond was more hardcore. Other than certain fight scenes being modernized to look "hardcore" the character himself came across as a little stupid hardly able to pass as a diplomat or high roller.

The best was when he told the new bond girl she had removed his armor then he gives in his resignation all at the end. What a mess. Don't believe the hype i loved "Layer Cake" and the actor but he is a crap ass bond.

So Daniel is not longer bash worthy. Amazing turn around. EA didn't even make a video game of this one and movie was being written of critically.

I agree it is a little long winded and would have been much better with about 20 minutes shaved off...

After seeing the kind of numbers "Die Another Day" (arguable the worst Bond movie ever) posted (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/franchises/chart/?id=jamesbond.htm), I thought this series had reached the point of no return in terms of mediocrity and that the Bond fan-base was monopolized by stupid monkeys seeking cheap thrills.

Come on guys.. reboot? prequel? It's James Bond. Just because Die Another day was far ahead in tech.. (WORST 007 EVER) doesn't mean this is a prequel. Remember the 007 were theres a hotel in space? That was way in the future. 007's are not really a before or after. I don't think they ever recall exact previous moments in any movies.


Anyways.. Awesome movie, kinda long ( I know thats lame but there was so many times were it fades and your like that was a good movie, and boom more)(lol)
