- shiftt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12dont tell me you actually expect the hollywood execs to come up with new ideas? cmon man, you're asking for way too much
why come up with new ideas if they can keep milking the old ones
and if nobody watches it, blame it all on piracy - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Jack Bauer's bad-assedness comes from the fact that the things he does require heavy-duty balls. For example, he took the President of the United States hostage. That took balls.
On the other hand, John McClane is more into physical feats of bad-assedness. As an example, he ran across a floor covered in broken glass and jumped down an elevator shaft.
Therefore, their battle would see these two different styles merge: Jack Bauer would sneak into their house, take Bonnie Bedelia hostage and threaten to cut off her ears if she doesn't tell him where her husband is. Meanwhile, John McClane shows up out of nowhere and drives a dump truck through the living room window while wearing a bloodied wife-beater.
Overall, I give John McClane the slight edge in a face-to-face confrontation. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Bruce Willis is such a badass.

- lava, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I think Havid was the guy who did the Saudi version of Knight Rider, called "Praise Allah This Car Talks"
- gothsquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8It needs Cyborgs and Elves in it.
Also Samuel L Jackson Returns from the future to help with a team of Mutant sharks on a Plane. ......Sorry for that but I would enjoy it. - Frank_the_Tank, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Based on this new title, I hope Toby Kieth sings the soundtrack.

"Plot Outline: John McClane (Willis) takes on an Internet-based terrorist organization who is systematically shutting down the United States."
Translation: You see, the internet is a series of tubes, and the terrorists are clogging them. John McClane will spend days single-handedly UNclogging all of them while uttering clever 1-liners.
you knew it was coming from someone.... - Nightfall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Sly is in need of a hit which is why he is doing Rocky and Rambo.
Bruce doesn't need a hit. He is smart enough to know he is the Die Hard franchise. The Die Hard franchise is a money maker and this will make a lot of money thats for sure. Why not strike when the iron is hot so to speak?
Personally, I say go for it. Just make something good dammit. - gothsquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7They already made Return to Oz staring Faruza Balk
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089908/
:( - lava, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10The terrorists made it to New Hampshire?
- cptspanky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I guess Stallone had to get jacked for Rocky 6 and thought "hmm...what's another movie where I can be rediculously huge..."
- MrStylz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Willis said a long time ago that he was done making Die Hard type flicks. He wanted to move into the more serious or meaningful films. Guess he changed his mind afterall...I'm all for it, I love the Die Hard series.
- trutwin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5You forgot Star Trek XI, Halloween 29, Freddy and Jason get fingered and go to Brokeback Mountain...
Personally, I don't mind a good sequel (Spiderman, Aliens, T2, Empire, Star Trek II) - it's the remakes that piss me off more (Bewitched, Dukes of Hazard, etc) - Gotar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Seriously how can any of you say it's a bad movie without seeing a trailer, picture, or script.
- bebop717, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I saw the trailer for Rocky VI before Pirates, needless to say the audience was laughing as they were watching this.

- UnglueD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Rough estimate: 342 people die in Die Had 4 at the hands of Bruce Willis

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Live free or Die hard?
I am sick of the word 'freedom' used by dumbasses and twisting it to describe freedom as...
"a consumer is free to buy something"... - ajrizzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I donno about all of you, but I'm drooling in anticipation to hear how they are going to edit it for TV:
Die Hard: "Yippie-ki-yay, My Friend".
Die Hard 2: "Yippie-ki-yay, Mister Falcon".
Die Hard 3: "You are one crazy Melonfarmer!"
Die Hard 4: ?? - DesireCampbell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"Snakes on a Plane"
- tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Plot summary for Knight Rider 2000:
In the future, guns are banned and criminals are frozen for the duration of their sentences. A recent spate of killings involving handguns brings Michael Knight back to fight for justice, but he insists of the help of KITT, his artificially-intelligent car from decades ago. The only problem is that KITT has been deactivated.
Did Demolition Man totally steal that story, or is it just me? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's a fact, you can never have too many Jurassic Park movies (sorta like Romero movies)
- Chompy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5To put this in perspective, the same guy that directed Underworld:Evolution is going to be directing this movie. If you've seen U:E you'll understand the problem.
- decide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3yippie ki-y...wait...
- procdaddy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3YESSSSSSS MORE BRUCE WILLIS!
- tehgooch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What else would they be free to do. You know that freedom of speech is way overrated. HEY LOOK IT'S OPRAH!
- ArcticCelt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3...and also Indiana Jones 4 (2008)
ta ta ta taaa, ta ta taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882/ - electromagnetic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Willis said a long time ago that he was done making Die Hard type flicks. He wanted to move into the more serious or meaningful films. Guess he changed his mind afterall...I'm all for it, I love the Die Hard series."
I always thought he stopped doing Die Hard because he didn't want to get type cast, which he's now successfully avoided. So he may just want to go back to a fun action movie where he can run around blowing ***** up, I mean who wouldn't wanna do that? I just think he knew if he didn't get into more serious roles he would be finding it hard to get good parts, and when he's getting older and can't do jumping around and diving out of buildings he wouldn't be able to get a job doing anything. I mean he'd end up in a wheel chair trying to save Christmas in an old peoples home.
Edit: Also how long till Star Wars episode VII? Or maybe Star Trek: Kirk with Dementia - tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0369610/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118747/ - TimDigg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Rocky 6, Die Hard 4, Indiana Jones 4, Ghostbusters 3
What's next Back to the Future 4, Jurassic Park 4, Blue Brothers 2, The Wizard of Oz 2, Scarface 2, King of New York 2(ok I'd see this)....
Ninja Turtles 4....oh wait
I'm all for sequels, but sequels that are waaaaaaaaaay after the fact are suspicious to me - zevgreen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Don't forget... Indiana Jones 4! (2008)
www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882/ - imlikewoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Jack Bauer hands down.
I cite the head in the suitcase from season 2. - shanedog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was hoping it would star McBain from the Simpsons.
- MadEnvoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Absolutely out of ideas.
- NerdyNinja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like how the article goofed and said Harry Potter 4 was coming out next summer. Too bad it's already on DVD. I'm psyched for the next Bourne movie, although I have to wonder how close to the book this one will be (seeing as Bourne Supremacy had jack to do with text version - it wasn't even the same country)
- tony23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Better yet:

Knight Rider (2008)
"Based on the 1982 series of the same name, a lone crime fighter battles the forces of evil with the help of his indestructible and artificially intelligent car." - Otto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Passion of the Christ 2: Payback"
"Passion of the Christ 3: Judgement Day" - Presentlight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Bruce Willis vs the Tubes
See a movie first as john McClane exchanges his 9mm for a bottle of Drano. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Greatest Movie Ever. I'd pay just to see John McLane drive a truck through a building.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, they're actually gonna remake the original Robocop. *****.
- tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Passion of the Christ 5: Superstar"
- chubbymidget, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Takes place in a retirement home when an evil mastermind steals all the pudding.
Somehow "Yippee-Ki-Yay" wouldn't be as cool when the person saying it is 60+
Grandpa's p**sed!
imdb.com lists it as Diehard:Reset. May be Alzheimer’s kicks and resets McClaine.
But Bruce is cool in everything he does and we share the same birth day and month.
So he gets slack. - icepick314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2actually TMNT can get away since they're going CGI...
and Scarface had second movie...direct to DVD...
i'm waiting for Havid Hasselhoff to return as Michael Knight in Knight Rider with revamped KITT...hopefully it's Hummer H1....that would kickass!! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Passion of the Christ 6: Electric Boogaloo
