- frooo, on 05/11/2008, -3/+93I PITY THA FOOL!
I so hope that they get Mr T to play Mr T - Jambi, on 05/11/2008, -6/+68Dear Hollywood: come up with something original, you pathetic *****. Remakes and movies spun off of old TV shows almost always suck. Neither the Asian nor the European film industry has problems making original films, many of which actually appeal to adults. So, what's your excuse?
- aldenhg, on 05/11/2008, -3/+42His character in the show's name is B.A Baracus.
- SilenceIsFoo, on 05/11/2008, -2/+36I love it when a movie plan comes together.
- MisterFreeze, on 05/11/2008, -2/+37Can we really trust a post from someone who doesn't know how to spell "Hannibal"?
- GeorgeStone2, on 05/11/2008, -2/+34They need Robert Downey JR to play BA.
- MaxMWood, on 05/11/2008, -0/+30They are remaking the A-Team but how can they replace Mr.T with a modern day actor? Its not even possible.
- rossnyc, on 05/11/2008, -3/+37Bruce Willis - Hannibal
Michael Clarke Duncan - Mr. T
Jim Carey - Murdock
Josh Duhamel - Face - NightVortez, on 05/11/2008, -1/+25I think Mr. T is too old now, but yeah it would be amazing if he came back.
As long as it's not Ice Cube, I mean, he looks for the role but as far as I've seen he can only play himself. - oboy, on 05/11/2008, -1/+23Jim Carey as Murdock is perfect.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -0/+25"Hannible"?
- deltaandroid, on 05/11/2008, -2/+23Mr. T is always Mr. T !
- jtq1, on 05/11/2008, -2/+27i'd rather see brad pitt as captain america, personally.
- Shogi, on 05/11/2008, -0/+21Stephen Colbert.
- BigW, on 05/11/2008, -0/+19No way. Mr. T's gotta be in this movie. There is no point in an A-Team movie without Mr. T.
- WriterSD, on 05/11/2008, -2/+20Willis would be awesome! I would definitely see this movie.
- NightVortez, on 05/11/2008, -2/+27Fight Club, Se7en and Snatch say otherwise.
- canewediggit, on 05/11/2008, -0/+18kimbo slice > michael clarke duncan. and before you say anything about acting, i remind you this was mr.t playing mr. t originally.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -3/+19These movies look like they could be excellent with Pitt and Willis at the lead. I can't wait to hear more concrete information about the casting developments.
- oboy, on 05/11/2008, -1/+16Absolutely not. I would hunt this guy down. Spelling is of utmost importance on Digg.
- canewediggit, on 05/11/2008, -4/+22Willis as Hannibal is great, but Pitt is better suited for Face than Thor. Thor is a monster, Pitt is a middle-weight. Dolph Lungren (sp?) would be better, not saying he'd be best but he came to mind. Don't let the Drago and Punisher roles fool you, he's actually very well spoken and extremely intelligent.
- DigiDave, on 05/11/2008, -9/+24beat me by 20 seconds!!
Good digg. - MikeonTV, on 05/11/2008, -1/+14I would leave my kid home alone for a month with Latino Review. Thats how much I trust them!
- h0ser, on 05/11/2008, -3/+20I'd like to see Nicholas Cage as Murdoch. I can see him going crazy.
- canewediggit, on 05/11/2008, -0/+13"A native of Stockholm, Dolph Lundgren is a graduate of the Royal Institute of Technology. He has a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney (1982), and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1983 – but quit after two weeks to pursue acting." - from his wikipedia.
- 35263526, on 05/11/2008, -3/+14I've loved Brad Pitt in some roles, but as Thor, seriously? He pretty much proved to me that he couldn't do the superhumanly strong, brutal warrior when he played Achilles in Troy.
- oboy, on 05/11/2008, -2/+13Jim Carrey as Murdock would be perfect.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -2/+12Don't forget Twelve Monkeys. The one movie for which he actually got an Oscar nomination.
- CaptMonkey, on 05/11/2008, -2/+15Brad Pitt may be a decent actor, but he is not Thor. I was really hoping they stuck with the Kevin McKidd rumor.
- InuX, on 05/11/2008, -1/+13If Mr. T won't be back, how about Christopher Judge. He has the physique, and would probably be better than ice cube :P. I Pity The...er...Indeed!.
:D - spaceman84, on 05/11/2008, -1/+10Wow. They picked the gayest image they could possibly find of Brad Pitt for that article.
Personally, I think the big German dude from Kingdom of Heaven should be Thor. He was pretty awesome. - inactive, on 05/11/2008, -0/+10How about Mike Judge?
:E - nunia, on 05/11/2008, -0/+9I have no time for jibba-jabba.
- jon30041, on 05/11/2008, -0/+8That was my thought, too. But... He'd need to bulk up a lot, honestly.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -4/+12Woody Harrelson as Murdoch!
- trujillonorte, on 05/11/2008, -3/+12marvel is not going to entrust a 150 million dollar movie with half assed b movie actors or wrestlers, not happening..
- TobiasParker, on 05/11/2008, -0/+8I love how everyone is saying Brad Pitt is too short to play Thor...it isn't like John Rhys-davies isn't over 6 feet tall or anything. You know who i mean right? Gimli, son of Gloin.
- SMELLtheGluv, on 05/11/2008, -0/+8Dugg for failing at life and misspelling Hannibal!
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -1/+10*except Batman
- B3000, on 05/11/2008, -0/+7Marvel isn't "Whoring out" their comic books to Hollywood. Beginning with Iron Man, they have taken control of all their characters and are financing and producing the films themselves without studio backing. Also, Marvel is a business and it isn't whoring when a business uses its property to make money - thats what a business does. Welcome to capitalism.
- Spamcan, on 05/11/2008, -2/+10They've gone into crash and burn mode, keep raising the ticket prices till the chain theaters go bust then move to downloadable services. It makes sense, considering how cheap decent sized TVs and digital projectors have gotten there's no excuse to pay for the extremely inferior theater experience unless you like cell phone backlights in your face the entire time.
- chris9902, on 05/11/2008, -1/+8Even in the Ocean films he was quiet good. always eating? what's up with that?
- wilhoitm, on 05/11/2008, -0/+7"Hey boy, Hey boy, you look mighty cute in those jeans!" - Mr. T!
- repick3, on 05/11/2008, -1/+7He was pretty good in Seven Years in Tibet.
- B3000, on 05/11/2008, -0/+9Even Wonder Woman?
- EricAnderton, on 05/11/2008, -0/+7The problem is that there's too much risk involved in making original movies. The typical Hollywood studio needs to go for a sure-fire winning concept if it's going to pay all their overhead, C-level people and middlemen.
Plus, all this nostalgic stuff is coming of age, yet the licencing and such are probably available for cheap thanks for being dormant for so long. Plus, the early 1980's was a time when we (USA) were on our asses economically, so we turned to highly original entertainment to escape it all. They'd be stupid to not try and milk that for what it's worth. - oboy, on 05/11/2008, -1/+7It's Spanish for Hannibal. ha-nee-blay
- tahcoboy, on 05/11/2008, -1/+7But he would be terrible as Thor, hes to small for the role. Go to Scandinavia to find Thor.
- Beatmiser, on 05/11/2008, -0/+5Is that the same Hannible who crossed the Alpse on elephintse?
