For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

Amen. - Chatchkie, on 07/21/2008, -2/+42Too bad Willem Dafoe won't be in it, he was great in the original.
- kidendless, on 07/21/2008, -1/+33man, i gotta buy you two a proverb book or something...this mix and match *****'s gotta go!
- cdawzrd, on 07/21/2008, -7/+37I really really really hope this sequel doesnt suck. Boondock Saints is one of my all-time favorite films.
- sstephenson, on 07/21/2008, -6/+29In other news, the Dropkick Murphys get a soundtrack deal.

- scoreloot, on 07/21/2008, -2/+18Watch the documentary on this guy, shows what success can do to you if you are an ass to begin with. The only thing he succeeded at was to alienate everyone in his life, I see this as a potential to either prove he's changed or to prove he can't change.
- bixby1, on 07/21/2008, -3/+19The first one was plagued with behind the scenes problems. I hope this one goes well because I really did enjoy the original.
- Actionjax1, on 07/21/2008, -0/+16Unfortunately this is no more detail than what was available 3 or 4 years ago. I really liked the first one, but I will believe it when I see it. The same goes for Duke Nukem and Chinese Democracy.
- dimitrius, on 07/21/2008, -0/+15Troy Duffy is a world class a-hole. Go rent "Overnight" - You'll be less than impressed with how much @#$% this guy talks. God.. you sit there just wanting to slap him and say "STFU!"
- Kennerk, on 07/21/2008, -0/+14what the ***** are you doing?
i was just trying to cuddle...
cuddle? what a fag.... - manitcor, on 07/21/2008, -2/+15werd, I hope they don't ruin it. A movie like Boondock Saints was never meant to have a sequel.

BOOM HEADSHOT!*** - TheBigBad, on 07/21/2008, -0/+12Troy Duffy is an epic douchebag.
- LucasVB, on 07/21/2008, -4/+15Okay. Thanks for sharing.
- imover, on 07/21/2008, -1/+11why do you keep watching it??
- richiewrt, on 07/21/2008, -0/+10hey ***** Ass get me a beer!
- Mutton, on 07/21/2008, -1/+990210?
- gfxlonghorn, on 07/21/2008, -0/+8He has always been a huge ass, however, I still want this movie to be made so I really don't care too much who the director is as a person.
- scallon, on 07/21/2008, -2/+10No, the pretentious college kids are into Indie crap. Boondock Saints just appeals to people with a sense of humor who realize the movie never takes itself seriously. And for god sakes, will people stop saying everyone is ripping off Tarantino. Its like when everyone compares any movie with slow motion to the Matrix.
- Azerael, on 07/21/2008, -0/+7For all anyone knows God isn't doing ***** to help them and they're just delusional crazy vigilantes who managed to convince the cops they're the good guys, nowhere is it said that any giant invisible fairy that lives in the sky is helping them. The religious ***** just adds a layer of style to what they're doing, and that's what makes this movie as awesome as it is.
- gl77, on 07/21/2008, -0/+7wouldnt it be grand if duke Nukem, Chinese Democracy and Boondock Saints 2 were all released on the same day?
- fr4gth3w3ak, on 07/21/2008, -5/+11The Boondock Saints is one of my favorite movies. It is shot in a completely different way and love it!
- Protuhj, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6...That's cause I'm an expert in... nameology.
- orangekid13, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6no it's "*****! Ass!"
- joemofo214, on 07/21/2008, -2/+7I would tell the genie joke, but I dont wanna offend anyone here
- WileEPeyote, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5Willem Dafoe's performance in that movie was insane....
- soccerman90, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5any idea when we can expect this? late 09? 2010?
- redsoxmb545, on 07/21/2008, -1/+5Continue the joke...
- MovieQuest, on 07/21/2008, -0/+4Anyone who listens to the pathetic DVD commentary by Duffy will see that the first movie was not made by him. It was made by everyone else around him, their talents, with his loose idea and his big ego attached. I am in the business of moviemaking and I know it's a completely collaborative process. BUT I have to say that the "ideas" he admits to having for the original vision of Saints is pretty awful. It was a handful of people working around him (including the now 'strangely' absent DeFoe) who honed it down to the great movie it is today. He freely admits such facts about others' contributions without realizing that by doing so it makes him irrelevant. That makes him out to be more of a douchebag than he actually is, which is a major feat! He's like the Navidson House of douchebags.
- rajputwarrior, on 07/21/2008, -0/+4this has been years coming...
- cutchyacokov, on 07/21/2008, -1/+5@f4nt0m4s
That is your opinion, I respectfully disagree. Despite the fact that there are a few similarities between PF and Saints I really don't think that it's any more then coincidence. Please feel free to prove me wrong. Not to mention that BS is just a really fun movie, I couldn't care less if you think it is a ripoff of something else, or if it's cinematicly inferior to your favorite movies. I find it enjoyable no matter how many times I see it and that doesn't hold true for many other movies, even good ones. - jdizzle88, on 07/21/2008, -0/+4I am having a ***** day. Tell me a funny joke.
- gfxlonghorn, on 07/21/2008, -4/+7This is my all time favorite movie, and I am extremely excited about this, but I can't help but be a little anxious about whether it will live up to the first movie. This is one of those sequels I have been waiting for and knew was coming from the end of the first movie, but I almost don't want to see it out of fear that it won't live up to the initial bad ass-ness of the first Saints.
- Jacomagoo, on 07/21/2008, -1/+4Watch "Overnight" its a documentary on the director and his "crew". They're a bunch of ***** douchebags that will never work in Hollywood again. It was a pretty good movie, but a sequel just is not gonna happen.
- chadwalters23, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3Had no idea there existed so many Boondock Saints haters.
- bffoley, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3As much as I liked Boondock Saints, Overnight was so much better for the drama this guy created. Its sad, some people get some praise and it goes straight to their heads.
My favorite part was at the end where that reporter is talking about how she brought up seeing Boondock Saints with Weinstein way after he buried the film, and Weinstein was still excited about how good of a movie it was. It's just that Duffy was such an ass, he wasnt going to go anywhere in Hollywood. - MarkCiccone, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3Bob Marley performed at my school and said he starts filming in June (of this year) and said the story is really great. They definitely ARE getting this done though!
- cnosal, on 07/21/2008, -1/+4but the crusades were ok right?? every religion has criminals, saviors, and people with questionable morals in general.
- smoger, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3it sickens me what DKM has become. it's all about Street Dogs now.
- infamousdutch, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3I agree, Overnight shows how much of a prick Duffy is.
- inactive, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3My favorite unintentionally hilarious lines from "Overnight":
"I'm an endless cesspool of creativity".
"You'd better get used to my movie career, because it's not going anywhere."
Yes, Duffy is a jerk. But Boondock Saints was still an awesome movie. :) - inactive, on 07/21/2008, -2/+5I can't wait for this movie. It is so badass
- atarijedi, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3I have to agree with everyone who said this movie wasn't good in terms of cheesy dialog, but I still love it, it's very entertaining, and I hope the next one is just as good. To all the naysayers, why don't you write a movie script, and we will see how good it is.
- brentinkc, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3Yeah, we saw Good Will Hunting too
