- greenlander, on 12/06/2008, -1/+45Judd Nelson is the best kind of loser. Easy on old Judd.
- SilentJay74, on 12/06/2008, -10/+53And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee. Power has flown forth from thy hand so our feet might swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teaming with souls shall it ever be. En naminea et Patris et Fili et Spiritus Sancti. <---- Yeah I am a big fan.
- jaybol, on 12/06/2008, -12/+47Vernon: You're not fooling anyone, Bender. The next screw that falls out is going to be you.
Bender: Eat my shorts.
Vernon: What was that?
Bender: Eat. My. Shorts.
Vernon: You just bought yourself another Saturday.
Bender: Ugh, I'm crushed.
Vernon: You just bought one more right there.
Bender: Well, I'm free the Saturday after that. Beyond that, I'm gonna have to check my calendar.
Vernon: Good. Because its going to be filled. We'll keep going. Want another one? Say the word. Just say the word. Instead of going to prison you'll come here. Are you through?
Bender: No.
Vernon: I'm doing society a favor.
Bender: So?
Vernon: Thats another one right now. I've got you the rest of your natural born life if you don't watch your step! You want another one?
Bender: Yes.
Mr.Vernon Vernon: You got it! Right there, thats another one pal.
Claire: Cut it out!
Vernon: You through?
Bender: Not even close, BUD.
Vernon: Good. You got one more, right there.
Bender: You really think I give a *****?
Vernon: Another. You through?
Bender: How many is that?
Brian: Thats seven including when you asked Mr.Vernon here if Barry Manilow knew that he raided his closet.
Vernon: Now its eight. You stay out of this.
Brian: Excuse me, sir, its seven.
Vernon: Shut up, Peewee. You're mine, Bender. For two months, I've gotcha.
Bender: What can I say? I'm THRILLED. - CynicSight, on 12/06/2008, -2/+30Are you that ***** much of a skittle? The cartoon/comic is called "The Boondocks" and has absolutely nothing to do with "The Boondock Saints".
And both kick ass. - keppj0nes, on 12/06/2008, -9/+37What is up with all of these anti-Boondock comments? That movie was like a breath of fresh air in late 90s cut-n-dry movies. Oh and Willem Dafoe rules.
- SmokeAbowl, on 12/06/2008, -2/+26Hes got a ***** six shooter! what were you going to do funny man! laugh the last 3 to death.
- georgemason01, on 12/06/2008, -1/+25THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT!
- antiver, on 12/06/2008, -0/+24Do ya know what we need, man? Some rope.
- richiewrt, on 12/06/2008, -1/+19Here's your stupid ***** rope.
<=====================================> - andrewlotta, on 12/06/2008, -2/+15No Willem Dafoe? No thank you.
- inactive, on 12/06/2008, -0/+12You know that has nothing to do with this movie, right?
- bixby1, on 12/06/2008, -2/+13I submit Judd Nelson's character in Breakfast club will stand the test of time. I'm sure he'll be fine.
- roessnakhan, on 12/06/2008, -1/+12I just hope Troy Duffy is less of a dick now.
- Akaziel, on 12/06/2008, -0/+10Dude that's a pretty tall order....
Word is, it's Duffy's colossal ego and dickishness that is the REASON this movie's been so delayed in getting made. I mean hell, it was originally announced that it was going to be released like four years ago. - inactive, on 12/06/2008, -3/+12They could cast someone as lame as Mario Lopez or Donny Osmond and I would still see this movie.
- SmokeAbowl, on 12/06/2008, -4/+13***** what the *****, *****, who the ***** ***** this *****, how did you two ***** ***** ....*****!
sorry but i had to... - internetisevil, on 12/06/2008, -0/+9Nice! Awesome recall, Jay. The Latin piece should be: "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti."
- bluekross, on 12/06/2008, -2/+10You shut your mouth.
- oldhick, on 12/06/2008, -1/+9The old man grabbed me and said, "Hey, smoke up Johnny."
- mcsenget, on 12/07/2008, -0/+7i agree. i am not sure why Digg is digging everybody down for giving accurate reviews of this movie.
- StevieJanowski, on 04/02/2009, -7/+14One of my favorite movies of all time. Seems like they are on the track to recreate the magic
- Pelon808, on 12/06/2008, -1/+7that certainly illustrates the diversity of the word...
- CaseyCC, on 12/06/2008, -0/+6Anyone know what the release date of this is? The scene with the cat in the first one is an all-time cinematic classic ;)
- lydecker, on 12/09/2008, -0/+6He's not saying it is or it isn't okay to be gay. He is saying there is no legal reason they shouldn't be allowed to adopt.
You need to choose right and wrong according to the Bible too. And it nowhere says gay individuals can't adopt, or that they should have less rights. It's never going to work, and it's wrong, using the Bible to justify laws. - jull1234, on 12/06/2008, -0/+6Overnight (2003). watch it now on netflix. hilarious.
- chrispchiken, on 12/06/2008, -2/+7Everyone boo this man
BOOOOO
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO - inactive, on 12/07/2008, -0/+5Stupid, worthless, no good, goddamn, freeloading son of a bitch. Retarded, big mouth, know-it-all, *****, jerk. You forgot ugly, lazy and disrespectful. Shut up bitch. Go fix me a turkey pot pie. No dad, what about you? ***** you. No dad, what about you? ***** you. Dad, what about you? ***** you.
- GlitchEnzo, on 12/07/2008, -0/+5How does the headline completely miss the fact that Julie Benz is going to be in it?
MMMM!
http://spod.cx/girls/proteus/Julie_Benz-Mar2k3-FHM ... - dimes, on 12/06/2008, -0/+5Uhm, Henry Fonda was a legendary actor. Peter Fonda is an ok actor. I mean, I love Easy Rider and all, but I like it the same way I like Supertroopers. Judd nelson on the other hand is at least as good as Peter Fonda...maybe better, actually, yes he is better.
- decepticrat, on 12/06/2008, -1/+6Heh, I mean 'Loser' in the nicest way. Playing off his 'John Bender' loser character in The Breakfast Club--the role he's most notable for.
- JohnImani, on 12/07/2008, -6/+10I was a huge fan of the first movie in middle school... but then I watched it again years later and realized how much it sucked. Awful film.
I'd be OK with it's popularity if people didn't take it so *seriously*. If people liked it the way they like, say, The Warriors. - MikeF, on 12/06/2008, -5/+9as long as they keep norman reedus and SPF, it'll be great
- BevansDesign, on 12/07/2008, -0/+4Which episode of Futurama is that from? :)
- YinofYang, on 12/07/2008, -0/+4Hollywood's propensity to undermine the popularity of the first movies with sequels, worries me just a bit.
I watched the movie on a whim, a year or two ago, and I enjoyed it immensely. It started out in a very interesting way.
"Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men." - nana1701, on 12/06/2008, -6/+9I picked up Boondock Saints on accident when i was at blockbuster one night. Brought it home anyway and watched it. It was ***** AMAZING!!!!!! I love Wilem Dafoes character, he played it perfectly. All the action, the gun battles and the fights. A-fracking-mazing. I rented that movie 30 times before i was finally able to find it to buy. I cant wait for the sequel, hopefully it will be as action packed as the first one
- thejumbo, on 12/07/2008, -2/+5Yeah great - two irish douches go on a killing spree because some russian gangsters try to shut down their neighborhood bar. THEIR ***** BAR.
They suck. It sucked. And I'll never get those 2 hours back. Troy Duffy owes me 2 ***** hours! *****.
***** The Boondock Saints. ***** em. - inactive, on 12/07/2008, -0/+3I have had the same experience with it. It was novel and exciting at the time, even though it was obviously an attempt at doing Tarantino's thing. As time passed, the movie's charm has too, and now all I see is the terrible acting and hokey script. Seeing the movie "Overnight" about the film's production didn't help my opinion of it either.
- GuitarDood, on 12/06/2008, -1/+4BOOOO
- oldhick, on 12/06/2008, -1/+4Everybody's talking crap about Nelson, Fonda is the one that can't act for *****. Sure, he's been in some great movies and he rode a sweet bike but he really sucks at acting.
- gtluke, on 12/07/2008, -0/+3hahahaha
when someone tells me their opinion on a movie my first reaction is to ask them their opinion on boondock saints. if they liked it i know they have terrible taste in movies and i shouldn't listen to them. - TheEndlessFeed, on 12/07/2008, -0/+3Charlie Bronson's always got rope and they always end up usin' it.
- thejumbo, on 12/07/2008, -1/+4The first one was a cinematic abortion.
- b15fliptop, on 12/06/2008, -3/+6It sure is.
- centerblack, on 12/07/2008, -0/+3I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you. I found the movie entertaining and funny. The characters were believable and sufficiently developed IMO. I enjoyed the brother dynamic that the movie worked off of.
I really don't see it as an imitation of Pulp Fiction, Heat, or Reservoir Dogs... not sure why you threw those in there.
Unplanned sequels usually suck and I'm not expecting much from Boondock Saints 2, but I don't mind being surprised. - RansomHoldiay, on 12/07/2008, -0/+3nascar? new car? not far? no fear?
- Pelon808, on 12/06/2008, -0/+3I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT JUST *****' HAPPENED!!!
- HanSolo69, on 12/07/2008, -3/+6As long as this movie continues to never be released I think we'll all be fine.
- Akaziel, on 12/06/2008, -0/+3AC Slater was Irish, wasn't he?
