- Mithivh, on 12/16/2008, -1/+137Anyone else a little annoyed they displayed a picture of James Bond instead of her?

Hmmm... So because you appear as an extra in a movie one time over 20 years ago you are now officially a "Bond Girl" forever?
I know a guy who was an extra in "Troy", does that mean he is a "Troy Boy"?
Sensationalist title. - nickceleb, on 12/16/2008, -7/+88No mention of the husband being a suspect? Say what you will, but walking the dog seems like a pretty convenient thing to be doing while your wife is murdered.
- inactive, on 12/16/2008, -11/+54goldeneye n64 *death music*
- gaqua, on 12/16/2008, -1/+39Especially with his gun pointed at the camera.
I half expected the caption to say "POLICE IDENTIFY THIS MAN AS THEIR LEAD SUSPECT. PLEASE CONTACT THEM IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION." - ahpro, on 12/16/2008, -0/+36It's sad to hear. Misleading title though, she was in a bond movie, and she's a girl. That doesn't make her a bond girl. There's a difference.
- orangester, on 12/16/2008, -7/+38I guess the saying, You Only Live Twice, isn't true. It's a shame she didn't Die Another Day. I wonder if the intruder had a License to Kill? It must have been The Man With The Golden Gun! He clearly had A View To Kill after she scared The Living Daylights out of him. Poor Dr. No, yet another body to deal with.
Oh yes, I went there. - DeviantDragon, on 12/16/2008, -2/+33As far as I'm concerned, she's as much a Bond Girl as Gift Bag Girl from Quantum of Solace might be considered a Bond Girl.
- BaldMonkey, on 12/16/2008, -0/+31Does this really qualify as a "bond girl"?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2133946/ - aolshove, on 12/16/2008, -1/+30No kidding! The husband is always the primary suspect and guilty until proven innocent to most US DAs.
That's why I told my wife I hope nothing ever happens to her since our bathroom looks like a murder scene whenever she cuts herself shaving her legs. - hermizzle, on 12/16/2008, -4/+30I expect swift revenge on the part of Roger Moore.
- n3tfury, on 12/16/2008, -1/+27damn, talk about hard to find a photo of this girl. (previous to this event, sickos)
- asnider, on 12/16/2008, -3/+27That's so romantic: "Honey, I hope nothing ever happens to you. Not because I want you to be safe, but because I don't want them to assume that I did it."
- Ramble, on 12/16/2008, -0/+22I don't know about you but I'd probably check on any persons I knew were in the house before I left while I was dialing the emergency number.
- paulisnotdead, on 12/16/2008, -0/+22I wouldn't! I would be going back to the house to see if anyone was hurt, or if anything was stolen, then I'd call 911. I would not chase after a guy who potentially has a gun/knife.
- thras, on 12/16/2008, -0/+21The husband is suspect No. 1. Didn't you see that line about the police keeping "a very open mind"? What they mean by that is that they think the husband's story is a load of crap.
- timothycrash01, on 12/16/2008, -1/+19Seriously, I'm going to beat The Living Daylights out of the next person that makes a Bond pun.
- asnider, on 12/16/2008, -1/+17Why would he assume his wife was dead in this scenario? He'd hope she was OK and go inside to check. At least that's what a normal person would do.
- inactive, on 12/16/2008, -0/+15It's because the term "bond girl" was used loosely here. She's 'credited' on the film as "The Girls (uncredited)" so it's going to be pretty tough to dig up a picture of a girl that wasn't even named in the film.
- wild, on 12/16/2008, -1/+15I know what you mean. This pretty shaking news. Not the time to stir up bad puns.
- OutlawAdidas, on 12/16/2008, -0/+14I'm appalled and disgusted and also amused and intrigued.
Kudos you sick ***** - GiJoeBob, on 12/16/2008, -0/+14That's Tonya Roberts you nit wit.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090264/ - bryantee, on 12/16/2008, -0/+11That's not the death music. The first part is right.
da da, da da (then sparklie tremolo guitar chord.) - consoneo, on 12/16/2008, -0/+10Sounds like the makings of another "The Fugitive" movie.
- banjokelly, on 12/16/2008, -0/+9That's not her. Here's a recent picture of the murder victim http://www.rte.ie/news/2008/1216/cawleyc.html
How can I claim my points? - yellowfish04, on 12/16/2008, -1/+10Wow, could you guys be any Moore inappropriate?
- wild, on 12/16/2008, -0/+9Don't be such a doctor know-it-all.
- inactive, on 12/16/2008, -0/+8From imdb
Celine Cawley ... The Girls (uncredited)
she was an extra, not a bond girl. way to over sell a story. - BioHMMWV, on 12/16/2008, -3/+11Lot of "self defense" haters on here. I guess she should have told her assailant to wait while she called the cops.
- PapaKin, on 12/16/2008, -0/+8That is NOT Celine Cawley, that is Tanya Roberts. Can anyone find a real pic?
- zombiecarlin, on 12/16/2008, -1/+8"exclusive area of north Dublin"? That's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one.
/South Dublin Snobbery - Sloi, on 12/16/2008, -7/+14I have a feeling you'll be buried... just like her. ^.^
- yellowfish04, on 12/16/2008, -0/+7What're you gonna do? Cawley cops on us?
(edit: this actually is really sad, it's just that under no circumstances can I avoid a pun-off) - downwithpeople, on 12/16/2008, -0/+7Yeah, that image choice is completely tasteless.
- jgray1975, on 12/16/2008, -0/+7yellowfish04 this is For Your Eyes Only don't ever back down from a pun-off You Only Live Twice.
From Russia With Love,
Octopussy - banjokelly, on 12/16/2008, -0/+7That's not her... that was the main actress. Celine Cawley was an extra. A recent photo of her is at http://www.rte.ie/news/2008/1216/cawleyc.html
- OutlawAdidas, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6Sorry, but his license is revoked.
I hope they catch the ***** and put him in jail. There he has a license to get ass ***** for the rest of his life. - stevenjchang, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6lmao
- geodebug, on 12/16/2008, -1/+7LOL Guy named @***** is calling out for a sense of decency.
Double "oh *****", dude! I can see no royal hypocritical behavior here. - edrodgers731, on 12/16/2008, -2/+8Can you imagine if everyone had a nail gun? What if everyone had an Axe? What a dangerous place to live where everyone has a car! Imagine if we could buy poison at the supermarket! OMG! What if people had knives?
Your logic is seriously flawed. - awtripp, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6It is the Mail Online, I would expect nothing but sensationalism.
- Syric, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6Hey, take your "empathy" elsewhere, jackass. It's not welcome here.
- orangester, on 12/16/2008, -3/+9And to clear up any quick misconceptions, I am truly sorry for the family. I think we all know the immense pain of losing a loved one. My condolences.
- anarcurt, on 12/16/2008, -3/+9Weapons are a deterrant. When both sides are armed NONE use them. Conflict is the result of unequal balances of power. America dropped A-bombs on Japan because we were the only ones with the bomb. Now that others have it noone uses it.
As much as we would all like to live in a society without guns or violence men cannot go back and uninvent guns. Criminals are criminals and will be armed regardless. Banning weapons only harms the peaceful. Read some ***** history before you start calling other people ignorant. - zombiecarlin, on 12/16/2008, -0/+5It does to the Daily Mail, i.e: the ***** toilet paper rag to ever infest Digg.
- IRoaChI, on 12/16/2008, -0/+59 / 10 times it is the husband
- PapaKin, on 12/16/2008, -1/+6Once again that is NOT Celine Cawley, that is Tanya Roberts. Do people realize there is usually more than 1 vagina in a God-damn Bond movie?
- edrodgers731, on 12/16/2008, -0/+5Hello? Ooblez?
Everyone in Iraq DOES have firearms! Most Iraqi citizens have AK47 assault rifles!
You ASSUME they don't, but you should probably research it a bit more before making statements like that.
How do you stop violence by armed thugs who are in the minority? Allow every citizen to arm themselves. - centran, on 12/16/2008, -0/+5No matter who the people are(celebrity, religious, average joe) or where they where at the time, relatives and friends are always considered a suspect. The police will be nice with those people and try to console them but they are being investigated and most of the time they won't realize the police consider them a suspect.
- mrfunktastic, on 12/16/2008, -0/+5Well, to be fair, twisterrust didn't specify whose picture...
