- Rollic, on 09/29/2008, -1/+32I've always wondered why Murray wasn't up for Ghostbusters 3 earlier. I mean, the guy does Garfield movies - it's not like he's that choosy.
- klitzbtc, on 09/29/2008, -0/+20It's sad to see that Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis aren't writing the script. I'd like to get the story behind why.
- d-ude, on 09/29/2008, -0/+18Dogs and cats, living together, MASS HYSTERIA!
- welestgw, on 09/29/2008, -0/+18I'm still waiting for Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money.
- MRintheKeys, on 09/29/2008, -0/+15Why the ***** does Ernie Hudson get no love?
- Barbarino, on 09/29/2008, -0/+14Please go easy on the CGI..... and no jungle scenes...
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -0/+13Doooooooooo Raaaayyyyyyyy Egoonnnnn
- SpectralSounds, on 09/29/2008, -0/+12Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis wrote the script for GhostBusters "The game" which, before talks of the third movie was supposed to basically be GhostBusters 3.

- Capta1nA, on 09/29/2008, -1/+12What a terrible video. The audio is all over the place, and nothing happens until the last minute or so.
- TimDigg, on 09/29/2008, -1/+12Give it up with the "2 decades later" sequels....
What's next?
Beetlejuice 2? - boozedrinker, on 09/29/2008, -0/+10UHHH....believe it or not, this was a good MOVIE too....
- trentRez9, on 09/29/2008, -0/+10"Cleanin' Up The Town - Savin' The Day"
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -1/+11Dugg for Bill Murray and Ghostbusters... one sequel to a sequel to a sequel I will probably actually see.
- jedisushi, on 09/29/2008, -1/+10If this movie gets made - and done well - it could be the first solid evidence for the existence of God.
- jonwise80, on 09/29/2008, -0/+9No kidding... and if the comments in the article about who IS writing the script are true, this movie will be a huge disappointment. Not that those people don't make great movies, but they have the original script-writers of the first two movies signed on -- why aren't they using Dan Akroyd as a writer? The guy's a genius, Bill Murray's a genius... why mess with what works?!
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+9Back off man, I'm a scientist...
- eekthekat, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8Really, are you forgetting Airplane? Don't get me wrong. Ghostbusters is still waaaay up there.
- Surferess, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8Who ya gonna call? Bill Murray!
- sremick, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2

- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -0/+6I am serious... and don't call me Shirley
- incubusbeatsall, on 09/29/2008, -2/+8I really hope there's no George Lucas. Otherwise it's going to be 'Ghostbusters: Busting Alien Asses'.
Dammit. - alex3540, on 09/29/2008, -0/+6Surely you can't be serious?
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+6What about the Twinkie?
- Muligan21, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5Ghostbusters probably has some of the best "one-liners" of any movie outside of the Holy Grail. It deserves a well, thought out sequel.
- incubusbeatsall, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5Also: Apatow doesn't seem like a bad director for the script. He seems like the kind of guy you'd sit around with doing nothing, and discussing why in the hell x movie did y. I have faith in him.

- dsmx, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5So did I about 15 years ago then it stopped being funny.
- seansshack, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4'bout time. can't wait to take my kids to it and introduce them to the first 2.
- PixelMagic, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4No, the trilogy is perfect. 4 would just make the franchise feel awkward.
- leif77, on 09/29/2008, -1/+5BETELGEUSE!!!... wait
- bubblz, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4Hopefully they will bring back Ecto Cooler as well.
- SpectralSounds, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4Rick Moranis said he would never sign on to another Ghostbusters movie... as he is "retired". He refused to be in the new GhostBusters game as well.
- Sherman901, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4oh god....
- boozedrinker, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4One of the greatest lines in ***** movie rhetoric was:
"Sir, what you have there is what we refer to as a focused, non-terminal repeating phantasm, or Class 5 full roaming vapor. A real nasty one, too." - badogg, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4As long as Michael Bay doesn't get his Parkinsons hands on it I'm for it
- Changa, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4That's one big Twinkie....
- dafragsta, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4And MAN, when it stopped being funny, I realized that I must have been delusional to ever think it was. Granted, I was big into Garfield around 2nd-5th grade. There was a time when I ***** IDOLIZED Jim Davis and wanted nothing more in the world than to be a cartoonist.
- geologist62, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4So, Jimmy, do you like gladiator movies?
- Volcanik, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3"Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here. "
" They caused an explosion! "
"Is this true? "
"Yes it's true. "
[pause]
"This man has no dick. " - olafcore, on 09/29/2008, -0/+3i thought 3 was awkward
- Maxwell1234, on 09/29/2008, -0/+3Ramis has been working with Apatow's crew for a bit now (Knocked Up, Year One) so it only makes sense to do this project together. 2 of my favorite crews together. Of course, they can't top the original, but they can make one hell of a good flick!
- badogg, on 09/29/2008, -1/+4As long as it isn't a Conan sequel
- jedisushi, on 09/29/2008, -0/+3I miss Rick Moranis.
- BobbyMC, on 09/29/2008, -0/+3The scriptwriter is irrelevant. Aykroyd wrote the original Ghostbusters script before Belushi died, and it was far too massive of a concept to be picked up. The GB you know and love came out Aykroyd, Ramis, and Ivan Reitman rewriting it, which they will almost certainly do to a degree with this one.
Everyone else was on board for years. Reitman will probably still end up directing, and if not they coulde asily let Ramis run the show and he'd do fine. All you need for a GB movie is those four and Janine, whom are all guaranteed. Weaver is really only an incidental part of the universe (and arguably unrealistic after so many years of being thrust into the middle of paranormal dilemmas thanks to the already hard to tolerate Venkman). While Moranis would be missed, if that man has the gonads to ditch after Murray jumps onboard, he can go ***** himself for all I care. His children are all grown up now, so his excuse for disappearing no longer holds up. - jerrolds, on 09/29/2008, -0/+3he voices the Garfield movies - easy money apparently.
- jjfac, on 09/29/2008, -0/+2Just as long as Palin's unpopularity keeps McCain out of the White Hous....Oh, oops, wrong topic.
