She might be considered a good mom because of how she was protecting her kid from terminators so he could be a great future leader. HOWEVER, if the whole future machine world was just a figment of her imagination, would she be basically the worst mom ever?

      • ClawBlade, on 05/11/2008, -0/+6Actually, I'm pretty sure she had a daughter before Alien, and because she was in cryo-sleep between Alien and Aliens she outlived her. Which is why she is so attached to Newt in Aliens.
    • acdcfanbill, on 05/11/2008, -0/+5Technically she had a child, but due to the long sleep after her escape ship got lost in Alien, by the time she was rescued at the beginning of Aliens, her child had grown old and died I believe. I don't know if that gives us a clear picture of good or bad motherhood though.

  • s0nicfreak, on 05/11/2008, -1/+1My mom was/is pretty much exactly like the mom from Mommie Dearest (except for the sending away to private school thing; oh god what I would have given to be sent away to private school). Most people are like "lol no way that ever happened, no one is like that" but I can believe it :(

    I always wished I'd had a mom like the mom from Edward Scissorhands instead :(
