They didn't pay for season 2 (other than for the rights to show it) so they're showing it now. Of course that doesn't explain why they didn't start showing it at the same time as the Stargate shows which have the same US air schedule as BG,.

I want to know what the f*ck has happened to Season 2 in the UK. For the first time I can remember we got a season 1 before you lot in the US. Mainly (as I remember) because they wanted to trial it and see if it would be a success before exposing it to a US audience. It was a huge hit, so we waited for season 2, and waited and waited, and we're still bloody waiting! In the mean time, the US got season one and then season2, etc.
I can't think of any reason why season 2 didn't get shown here at least at the same time as you did. Its really pissed me off.
