- rideroyals, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26I sure hope so, Batman Begins was a fantastic movie :)
- spahn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Yup
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/ - elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+22I BURY FOR THE CAPSLOCK!
- maklershed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Incorrect .. the Joker loves to eat pudding
- evilspoons, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Why does everyone always ask "why is this on Digg"? Just because it's not news to YOU doesn't mean it's not news to the other people Digging it and that's WHY IT'S HERE!
- jer2eydevil88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14It was beyond amazing that they used an actual car for those tumbler scenes. Plus it paid off because you can tell how much better special effects are when they are used as effects and not to generate the whole scene.
- kitchensj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Filming doesnt start until next year

The only batman I know - JackHallows, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Tommy Lee Jones was Two-Face, not the Joker......
- KnightMareInc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6yeah ledger as the joker has me worried, but I was pessimistic about the first one and it turned out to be very good.
- visualdensity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6From The Dark Knight: Heath Ledger as Joker? Hmm... really interested in seeing if he could pull that off.
- cuddleparty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6after seeing brokeback mountain, i'm convinced of his acting range. i think he can do it. not that the joker has anything to do with gay cowboys.
- Chompy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6The Tumbler is the most beautiful film car ever constructed. They should make a street legal version and sell it to the public.
- camkerr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Apparently they're going to make the joker more sick and twisted like he is in the comic books.
- AriaStar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@Sledgy:
You saw Batman Begins, right? What was handed to him at the very end?
Answer: The Joker's calling card.
THAT is why they're having the Joker in this film. - contradictator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I gotta get me one of those.
- davymac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If Tommy Lee Jones acted as the Joker... sure... (pssst.. you mean Jack Nicholson)
- GraceMolloy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3All that swag is from the first movie.
- diskopo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Unfortunately it was just there to show off during CTIA. Wasn't involved in the shooting of the next movie.
- SledgY, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It's more of a question of can he live up to Jack Nicholson's Joker?
I wonder why they decided to have the Joker since he's already been in a Batman movie (and the only other really good one). - visualdensity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I guess you're right. It's just like hearing that Tom Hanks was playing Robert Langdon in the Da Vinci Code for the first time. It just scared me. But it turned out ok. We'll see.
- dv8withn8, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I watched them film car scenes on lower wacker drive here in Chicago back when Batman Begins was being made. The Batmobile is really freakin loud in person. It even had the flame coming out the back. Pretty cool. Another Digg user was with me, maybe he'll comment as well...
- Chompy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"you're in LA, not much actual filming goes on in the streets of LA."
Spoken like someone who knows nothing about LA. Yes, lots of filming is going ROTC, Eastern Europe, etc.. but plenty of stuff is still shot right in LA. Hell there are restaurants that aren't open to the public, they're only available to shoot films in. - diggermike, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2My question is why do people do posts with out reading the article or blog that goes with the pictures. The bloger clearly says that the props were for an event at the hotel, yet the digger puts in the summary "Is this the making of a new Batman movie?" ummmmmmmmmm no not from what the blog says. Also how can you say "Batman Begin" was good, I saw it at the theater and the film is done so dark you can't even see most of the action and the actors are always whispering.
- statikuz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Worth a read if you think its cool that its an actual functioning vehicle:

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2i agree i love Batman Begins it reminds me of the comics/cartoon series which was kinda dark , i love it
- moxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is going to be pretty cool, I really liked when Bale played Batman in the last movie and look forward to watching him again. Hopefully they don't disappoint me considering I am going to have some high hopes....
- SledgY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@ AriaStar
Maybe it was fairies that decided to hand him the card at the end and not the produces/writers to lead into another movie with the joker.
Shesh some people don't think before replying. - merdiesel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd said it before and I'll say it again... the baddest ***** Batmobile ever!!!
- CPUGUy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The difference is Tom Hanks is an actual good actor (one of the best today).
Heath Ledger is... well... Heath Ledger.
I say bring back Jack Nicholson! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wonder if they need a batman begins case mod for the new movie :D
http://www.computer-choppers.com/gallery-batmanbegins.htm - JeremiahLBurns, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Dugg because the official cast does not, as yet, include Katie Holmes.
- visualdensity, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1OOpps... sorry. For some reason I when I think of Joker, Two-Face's image came up. :
- msafi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1He's gonna be fantastic!
- jtoeman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Actually, if you read my post, you'll see that these are, unfortunately, NOT pics of a new movie... I wish they were, but it's just a prop from the first one!
- theworldisround, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I wonder if mine is.
- HanSolo69, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1yea..seriously....if they're filiming anything, where's all the equipment and why are the props just sitting out on display? Did it never cross your mind that A.) all those are props from Batman Begins, and B.) you're in LA, not much actual filming goes on in the streets of LA.
- JackHallows, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3I'm not going to ask because I know it's just me.... that car is ***** ugly.
- SledgY, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Yep, the Batmobile from the origional 1989 movie is still the coolest by far.
- loonsta, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0http://johnhaller.com/jh/useful_stuff/disable_caps_lock/
- vamper, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1looks like the batmobile broke down :P
- SIDSI, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3That Batmobile design sucks so much ass Im still not over it. It looks like a bat suv that batgirl would take her kids to soccer practice in.
- hhOwArdrOarKk, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Is this the one where Batman dumps Robin?
- visualdensity, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1If he pulls this off better than Tommy Lee Jones, I'll truly believe his acting range!
- seithon, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0:( theirs no working link ?
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -13/+1...
I'm Batman - MackPrime, on 10/12/2007, -18/+3I DIGG FOR THE TUMBLER.
