neatorama.com — Remember the Mattel Hoverboard used by Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) in Back to the Future Part II and III? The movie prop is being auctioned off on eBay. Minimum bid? $30,000. Movie nostalgia doesn’t come cheap, my friends.

He said they found a hoard of them somewhere and that they never made it to the market because of safety issues pushed by a concerned group. I don't know if he was having fun with the interviewer or what, all I remember is watching this and it was supposed to be real. I have never seen it again, maybe someone can find it and post a link. Anyone else see this? I think he was joking and creating some hype for the movie.
