- ichchappycat, on 03/25/2008, -15/+4Jackie Brown is under-represented and From Dusk Til Dawn is completely absent... WTF?
- squishee, on 03/25/2008, -1/+15The montage is of Tarantino-directed films. He didn't direct From Dusk Til Dawn--he just wrote it.
- kingmanic, on 03/25/2008, -1/+4And starred in it.
- raynar, on 03/25/2008, -5/+3and sucked in it.
- kingmanic, on 03/25/2008, -1/+4And starred in it.
- undershirt, on 03/25/2008, -0/+2The first half of From Dusk Till Dawn was very Tarantino-esque, but I didn't get the vampire part.

- mekon1971, on 03/25/2008, -16/+17Quentin Tarantino rocks!
- scififan9009, on 03/25/2008, -16/+28Didn't care for Death Proof. Yeah the last 21 minutes were badass, but getting to those last twenty was like pulling teeth.
- Kumaku, on 03/25/2008, -2/+9But the famous chick was smokin'
- SauloFuentes, on 03/25/2008, -4/+4Yeah I guess, but I always saw Death Proof as two short horror movies of a series. Like the first one is the intro which is set with a really serious mood and you really don't know much about the killer and so he lives to terrorize again. The second one is really the last one of the series for obvious reasons and its less horror mood and more action pack thriller. Maybe im just talking out my ass but that was just my take on it. Havent seen it since the theater so i might get a different view of things on the 2nd go around.
- moush, on 03/25/2008, -1/+8You know he likes dialog, what were you expecting?
- scififan9009, on 03/25/2008, -6/+4Better dialog.
- idleidol, on 03/25/2008, -3/+2pointless but interesting dialog by men in tarantino film = OMFG THIS MOVIE OWNS
pointless but interesting dialog by women in tarantino film = /yawn - moush, on 04/03/2008, -0/+1If it was Samuel L. Jackson delivering the same lines, you know you would be having a wet dream.
- idleidol, on 03/25/2008, -3/+2pointless but interesting dialog by men in tarantino film = OMFG THIS MOVIE OWNS
- scififan9009, on 03/25/2008, -6/+4Better dialog.
- undershirt, on 03/25/2008, -2/+6It honestly makes me mad when people say Death Proof was boring. I thought it was great character development.
- scififan9009, on 03/26/2008, -1/+1Honestly makes you angry? Because someone disagrees with you? Cool. Let's talk politics and religion next.
- undershirt, on 03/26/2008, -1/+1gooz-fraba
- scififan9009, on 03/26/2008, -0/+1I'm not an Eskimo. Wait, unless you mean the Martian political term "gooZfrab-a," which I totally agree with.

- DIYMan2007, on 03/25/2008, -7/+3very nice!
- suzywang3000, on 03/25/2008, -24/+10Tarantino is pretty good but he should stay out of his movies. And also the Kill Bills were two of the worst movies I've ever seen.
- beetyjoose, on 03/25/2008, -2/+10I can see your argument for him being in his own movies; but the Kill Bills? No way. They were awesome!
- rhbama13, on 03/25/2008, -2/+9First Kill Bill is a great set of movies. Second he is great in his movies.
he is fantastic he is a perfect regular guy.- suzywang3000, on 03/25/2008, -3/+1Uma Thurman needed to use light-sabers to make it at least *somewhat* believable. Newtonian physics is a bitch...
- rhbama13, on 03/26/2008, -0/+1please tell me one action movie, or any movie, that is firmly based in the world of Newtonian physics.
- suzywang3000, on 03/25/2008, -3/+1Uma Thurman needed to use light-sabers to make it at least *somewhat* believable. Newtonian physics is a bitch...
- mike81890, on 03/25/2008, -0/+5My favourite part of Pulp Fiction is his role.
- suzywang3000, on 03/25/2008, -4/+2he is a tool.
- luke16, on 03/25/2008, -16/+13Because letsgetight sounds gay, heres the original youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvLBm6Hz9tE
- beetyjoose, on 03/25/2008, -4/+4Yeah, god forbid people get credit for there work.
- PeterChris, on 03/25/2008, -2/+4yeah seriously. If you looked at the site rather than just being a douche. You would see per the editor's request, his work is featured all over the site. What's the problem with giving props to good work?
- luke16, on 03/25/2008, -2/+1my bad
- RSS14, on 03/25/2008, -1/+4Just watch it via his blog, give him some hits. He made the video on his own time so you could enjoy it. Asshole.
- DiscoFascist, on 03/25/2008, -3/+2you're probably a fat gamer who doesn't like to read anything other than text from other world of war craft players. give the dude a break, might want to check out the other stuff on his blog too.
- Bukowsky, on 03/25/2008, -3/+10That was a pretty nice montage... props to whomever edited that!
- kingevrock, on 03/25/2008, -0/+4This was edited by Paul Proulx, he does work for www.sly-fi.com
- supertom2, on 03/25/2008, -1/+9I much preferred the Cohen Brothers one
http://www.letsgettight.com/blog/2008/3/19/getting ...- santaliqueur, on 03/25/2008, -2/+6No "h" in Coen. And yeah, theirs was better. Probably because of better films.
- supertom2, on 03/25/2008, -0/+4I didn't think there was, but the website had a 'h' so i thought i would trust them, apparently the Internet is wrong occasionally ;)
- builtby, on 03/26/2008, -0/+2thank you. that was just killing me that the site constantly referred to them with an "h".
- santaliqueur, on 03/25/2008, -2/+6No "h" in Coen. And yeah, theirs was better. Probably because of better films.
- Sawta, on 03/25/2008, -11/+11Oh wow, I forgot how much I detested Grindhouse and Kill Bill: Volume 2.
- T8erT0T, on 03/25/2008, -7/+3I'll digg you because Grindhouse was absolutely retarded.
- moush, on 03/25/2008, -1/+3But you hated Kill Bill 2, which was better than the first, fail less.
- OhSn4p, on 03/25/2008, -2/+4I downloaded KB2 and I thought it was like a clever joke. like QT making me watch an hour and a half of junk and then popping in the screen going: gotcha you downloading son of a gun. after that movie i gave up on ol QT
- innocentsinner, on 03/25/2008, -1/+4Well damn, KB2 is probably my favorite of Tarantino's movies.
- charlesdavisIII, on 03/25/2008, -19/+14wow I hate Tarantino even more now
- creepermclurker, on 03/25/2008, -10/+9agreed.
- jrobh, on 03/25/2008, -5/+4It's hard to deny (if you know any better) that he has little or no originality, but I still think some of his movies are pretty decent.
- BigLLamasHouse, on 03/25/2008, -1/+7u feel that, that's pride ***** with you.
well ***** pride
- creepermclurker, on 03/25/2008, -10/+9agreed.
- FrogMuffin, on 03/25/2008, -3/+8I would've liked a little more "Jackie Brown" and I don't think I saw anything from "Four Rooms". However, I did thoroughly enjoy the music choices!
- aeons80, on 03/26/2008, -0/+0Any idea what the name of the songs were?
- mattrmcg, on 03/25/2008, -3/+9Wow...all those movies mashed together made them all look equal to Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction...too bad after Pulp Fiction, he kind of stopped making top quality films (not to say that they sucked, just a little underachieving for him)
- trigon77, on 03/25/2008, -0/+26I wish Digg had a video section
- TinternAbbot, on 03/25/2008, -4/+3no no no no no no no no no
- SolipsismX, on 03/25/2008, -16/+1It would be nice if he'd feature a talented director in these montages. Tarantino, The Coens and PT Anderson are all very shallow, simple and safe compared to the real art-house directors like that of Bergman, Herzog, Antonioni or Lynch.
- Clobbersaurus, on 03/25/2008, -0/+9HOLY CRAP YOU ARE A COOL GUY
- SolipsismX, on 03/25/2008, -8/+1Does your knee-jerk sarcasm come from emotional insecurity, or just your inability to rationally express your opposing view?
- bashar129, on 03/26/2008, -0/+1No, I believe it comes from his funny-bone.
- SolipsismX, on 03/26/2008, -0/+2*rimshot
- SolipsismX, on 03/25/2008, -8/+1Does your knee-jerk sarcasm come from emotional insecurity, or just your inability to rationally express your opposing view?
- moush, on 03/25/2008, -1/+5Just because directors make ***** no one can understand, does not make them brilliant.
- SolipsismX, on 03/25/2008, -3/+1Who said otherwise? Right... straw man.
- Clobbersaurus, on 03/25/2008, -0/+9HOLY CRAP YOU ARE A COOL GUY
- MisterEX, on 03/25/2008, -7/+8There's a few movies out there that I really liked by QT. Pulp Fiction, for one, was great. It's one of those movies that gets better every time you watch it. For the most part though, I'd say QT's movies are fairly overrated.
- moush, on 03/25/2008, -7/+3Watch out, you're gonna get buried by everyone who doesn't know a single other director and spews lines from pulp fiction.
- P373Y, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1and i will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger!
- moush, on 04/03/2008, -0/+1TASTY BURGER
- moush, on 03/25/2008, -7/+3Watch out, you're gonna get buried by everyone who doesn't know a single other director and spews lines from pulp fiction.
- Trav3133, on 03/25/2008, -14/+10Too bad Tarantino films are not that awesome.
- RobotLeAwesome, on 03/25/2008, -3/+9While I enjoy Tarantino, it's a trend to blindly enjoy everything he does - which is annoying.
- sgtpppr, on 03/25/2008, -4/+3It's also trend to blindly bitch about everything he does - which is annoying.
- ams876, on 03/25/2008, -1/+2So many trends nowadays its so hard to decide which to keep up with.
- sgtpppr, on 03/25/2008, -4/+3It's also trend to blindly bitch about everything he does - which is annoying.
- ams876, on 03/25/2008, -3/+12Tarantino has made some great movies but if you think they are the best ever made you need to watch more movies.
- Spoomeister, on 03/25/2008, -6/+5Someone should give a humanitarian award to the guy who made this - they spared future generations from having to sit through QT movies just to get to the good bits.
- invisiblehat, on 03/25/2008, -10/+10I do not understand how people can hate Kill Bill. It is film making at it's finest.
I challenge all of you 'filmmakers' out there who criticize and demonize the Kill Bill films- make something better.
Go on, we are waiting.- ams876, on 03/25/2008, -1/+6Yeah people with opinions suck.
- BigLLamasHouse, on 03/25/2008, -4/+2i'm not waiting
- airburst, on 03/25/2008, -5/+4You call it film making at its finest. Surely you have made great films in order to make such a comment. Please tell us what you have created that qualifies you to make such a statement.
Go on, we are waiting.
- DODO101, on 03/25/2008, -7/+0If Tarantino was god, I would pray for him EVERY ***** DAY ! ! !
... or if he could be President, it's okay too ! - digg4rob, on 03/25/2008, -2/+2If you love Tarantino you might enjoy this from Pulp Fiction and Marsellus Wallace http://www.jarrattmoody.com/v_swa.html
- ColonelJessup, on 03/25/2008, -6/+0Tarantino is great because in all his movies he shows the womans feet. I like that, because it makes me want to ***** her feet like crazy. Like in his movies. I always look forward to a movie by Tarnatino with a really hot chick, because I know he will be doing a lot of feet close ups. ! Great! YEAH!!!!!!!
- insomniacal, on 03/25/2008, -4/+4(Snore.)
- AlJensen, on 03/25/2008, -4/+4I like Quentin, know why i like Quentin?
Originality - Makes his films into his style of directing, doesn't follow Hollywood's typical garbage where no story, just shoot em ups he actually takes the time to DEVELOP the characters, let me say that one more time, he DEVELOPS his characters. Not just random "who's on the cover of entertainment weekly, it doesn't matter they can't act we'll just shove them into the film, and people will come see the film because they relate there life to them in some vain attempt to be popular"- fejai, on 03/25/2008, -3/+3Seriously, originality? You do know most of Tarantino's films are basically characteristics sampled from other genres, mixed together and topped off with typical Tarantino directing fashions. I'm not saying that his movies are bad, yeah they are pretty good compared to a lot of ***** out there; but I absolutely hate when people come in and praise him for originality and creativity when his movies are mainly mashups of other genres/films. To me, originality is producing something that's never been done before.
- nextexiter, on 03/25/2008, -4/+1Name me somebody original and tell me how their work is original. Keep in mind that very artist samples a predecessor. While you're choosing an original artist to name, you might take a moment to examine the elements of their body of work and cross-reference those elements with all previous works in the same discipline. If you do, you'll probably notice that everything has been done, and that the term "original" is a matter of semantics. Then go ahead and give me a name anyway, and I'll tell you how you're wrong. At that point you should meditate on the fact that you have subconscious reasons for finding Tarantino's work distasteful, thus achieving a better understanding on the nature of art. Transaction complete.
- fejai, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1Alejandro Jodorowsky - The Holy Mountain
Have you ever seen anything like that before?
I don't see how you can argue in defense of someone that has admitted to "stealing from the best" (in his words). So if his movies are basically created from templates previously laid out, how are they just as original as something that's created from nothing? Can you argue that one? I partially agree with what you've said, but not completely. I don't agree that everything's been done before and quite frankly; I see that as being creatively lazy. It's a lot easier to admit that whatever you do is futile because it's been done than to truly develop something that hasn't been before.- nextexiter, on 04/01/2008, -0/+0"I don't see how you can argue in defense of someone that has admitted to "stealing from the best" (in his words)."
"Bad artists copy. Great artists steal." -- Pablo Picasso
I will look up The Holy Mountain. I'm always interested in a new discovery.
I'm not a big fan of Tarantino. I'm not defending him personally. But the backlash simply has no foundation except a cultural change in (fall of) favor. Perhaps it's an example of familiarity breeding contempt, I don't know. Some complained about the female characters in Death Proof, saying they were unrealistic. Well that's not true, I have good female friends who talk just like them. The impression I've gotten is that misogynists used to be big fans of his work, and suddenly they all realized that he is not one of them.
- nextexiter, on 04/01/2008, -0/+0"I don't see how you can argue in defense of someone that has admitted to "stealing from the best" (in his words)."
- AlJensen, on 03/25/2008, -1/+0Interesting i guess i should be a little clearer on my part...
When i define "Originality" i mean in to days day and age, not back in 1950's, were everything was hailed as revolutionary (Some of it was).
In to days day and age when you attempt Originality it means you put some of YOUR artistic flair into the mix, Samuel Jackson and his speech
Michael Madsen as Mr Blonde Kurt Russell Stuntman Mike. Sure you've maybe seen these characters somewhere else BUT what makes these characters stand out? I'm sure its not seeing them over and over again as you will ignore them.

- zimmermans, on 03/25/2008, -0/+3If you like Tarantino, you should check out Jean-Luc Godard's early films like "Breathless", "Bande à part", and "Pierrot le fou". They're all excellent! Godard was a big influence on Tarantino; the production company Quentin is involved in is even called A Band Apart
- undershirt, on 03/25/2008, -2/+3Don't forget to watch Four Rooms if you're a Tarantino fan.
- Zarxrax, on 03/25/2008, -1/+3What the heck is so great about this video? It's just a mish-mash of random clips, and rather poorly edited at that.
- DrewG7, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1Awesome. Of course there was a section cut out for QT's foot obsession.
- Fragalishus, on 03/25/2008, -2/+1Man if that was a trailer for a movie it would be the most kickass movie ever...oh wait it had scenes from Death Proof in it, never mind.
- philhatesyou, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1How clever... recursive montage!
- Tyrghast, on 03/26/2008, -0/+1As montage's go, that one was pretty *****.
- Irco, on 03/26/2008, -0/+1I guess it's true, "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" pretty much improves everything you are doing, or watching in this case...damn that song kicks ass
- schwig, on 03/26/2008, -0/+1Where the EFF is True Romance represented here.
