The much more important and profound part of it is this part "With digg, users submit stories for review, but rather than allow an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do." Overwhelmingly, the users submit stories of all kinds that might be of interest for people, not just tech. When the site was started, the intention initially may have just been tech, but no website can every stay to it's original intentions and must grow and change with the community. So quit fighting a lost cause and enjoy the website for what it really is.

This website is about digging websites that have things of interest and might be interesting to others. Just because Kevin Rose started the website does not make it automaticaly have to entirely be tech related.
Honestly, I am sick and tired of narrow minded people like you at this website. If you want a website that IS only TECH start one your damn self.
