- cusoman, on 07/22/2008, -1/+41So apparently any chump can write a list now and get it to the front page of Digg. Standards? What standards?
- Hockey13, on 07/22/2008, -4/+29Am I the only one who's sick of seeing TDK-related news on the front page? We get it, Heath Ledger acted really well and then died. Other people die and act well too. There are other stories out there.
- alpharaptor, on 07/21/2008, -2/+22raul julia?
- liuite, on 07/22/2008, -2/+18buried. Bruce's unfinished film was "Game of Death".
His son Brandon also died before finishing "The Crow" - merwin, on 07/22/2008, -0/+15You're right. He was fat, not pudgy.
- Chaotix, on 07/21/2008, -1/+15buried. lotsa inaccurate info there.
- EmitStop, on 07/22/2008, -1/+10R.I.P. Phil Hartman. He was Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz on The Simpsons.
- benologist, on 07/22/2008, -0/+9Most of the stuff that hits the front page is pretty poor quality. Standards went out the window the day it was decided stories should be promoted based on how many people you swap diggs with instead of merit.
- daRoach, on 07/22/2008, -0/+8You may also remember him from such films as Jingle all the Way and Saturday Night Live skit Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.
- NeoCortex, on 07/22/2008, -1/+8Van Damme's career?
- Jhiaxuz, on 07/22/2008, -0/+7Oh come off it. Really, I don't even have to read this story or description to know Heath Ledger "inspired" it. ***** off and let the man rest, let the movie make millions and stop flooding Digg with more of the same *****.
- Jhiaxuz, on 07/22/2008, -0/+7You could make a story which said "Heath ledger's face seen on a cats' ass" and it would instantly hit front page with quality posts like OH NOM NOM NOM.
- Charlotte_Web, on 07/22/2008, -0/+6Servers That Have Died Before The Digg Effect Hit?
- somedirtbag, on 07/22/2008, -0/+6"He's not fat, he's fluffy."
For those of you who don't know, there are five (5) levels of fatness: Big, healthy, husky, fluffy and DAAAAMN. - cbeach, on 07/22/2008, -0/+6Buried for nonsensical sentence in story summary. Let's encourage some standards round here.
- thedogfatherx, on 07/22/2008, -0/+5I think you should worship him. Sacrifice a small child for him.
- BinaryDelt, on 07/22/2008, -1/+6Out of respect for Mr. Julia, I recommend we refrain from any "Street Fighter II" talk. Considering its awfulness was probably the cause for his death and all.
- mikerad86, on 07/22/2008, -11/+16If only Whoopie Goldberg were on that list...
- inactive, on 07/22/2008, -1/+5What? Why not Bela Lugosi? He died in the middle of filming Plan 9 from Outer Space.
- jonshipman, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3Web Standards
- Csaliture, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3Oh how I miss Chris Farley

- jedcred, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3Somewhat insensitive and morbid, wouldn't you say? "Dropped dead" for John Candy? Do only fat people "drop dead?"
Why are we talking about this anyway? People do eventually die at some point in their lives, and some before or after notable events in said lives. Does it make their lives worth more or less somehow? - WELLDOITLIVE, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3He did SO many voices (that all sounded pretty much the same, his natural voice), he had such a perfect voice for it.

- daRoach, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3Also what about Vic Morrow? Accidentally killed by a helicopter on the set filming The Twilight Zone Movie.
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2Gabriel Iglesias ftw
- lroche, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3I just bury anything TDK related. I looked at this one as it was not specifically about TDK.
- veganvelma, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2It's not his last role.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus comes out next year. - nattybumppo187, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2dying*
- mojoel, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2Yeah, maybe so. Aliyah and River Phoenix both died before their respective movies came out. You might be onto something...
- jotty, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2What about Oliver Reed? He died during the filming of Gladiator, so the VFX company (www.the-mill.com) had to digitally impose Oliver Reed's head on a body double to film the rest of the movie.
- tedrock, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2lets find out
i got the picture. you make the post
http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff48/thetedrock ... - HumanRecalled, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1While in the middle of filming The Game of Death, Bruce Lee was given the offer to star in Enter the Dragon. The first kung fu film to be produced by a Hollywood studio, and with a budget unprecedented for the genre, it was an offer Lee couldn't refuse. Unfortunately, Lee died of cerebral edema before the film's release. At the time of his death, he had already made plans to resume the filming of The Game of Death.
- dslartoo, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Breathing and married to a hottie who apparently puts up with all of his *****, annoyingly enough. She's in this month's issue of Playboy.
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Digging a ***** article won't make Heath Ledger happy.
- zadadka, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1What you might call a whimsical dying tradition.
- zosoIV, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1NO PETER SELLERS?!
- asdff4, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Buried for the lack of respect for the actors and inaccuracy. Writing John Candy "dropped dead" while filming Wagon's East was uncalled for. I think the writer could have done a little more research for the article.
- Cenobite, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Though Street Fighter sucked hard, Raul Julia's performance was great and loads of fun to watch, and it's clear he had a lot of fun playing General Bison.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I actually catch Street Fighter whenever it's on TV just to savour Mr. Julia's performance (and Ming-Na Wen is easy on the eyes - particularly in a Chun Li costume!) - milobennett, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Standards? They didn't even get the headline right - it is actors WHO not actors that.
- somedirtbag, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1If you're gonna copy a comment from the article, I guess I gotta give you credit for a decent choice.
- Asianwaste, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Ahem... Raul Julia as M. Bison?
- erichw1504, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1This won't be the last digg article that is somehow connected to The Dark Knight. I bet there will be more...
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Also, involve a goat.
- protodon, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Quite a few of those movies aren't worth mentioning.
