- IvenomI, on 01/08/2009, -2/+70Gee, I never SAW that one coming.
- nonstop87, on 01/09/2009, -1/+47This list implies that the series sucks or got a lot worse over time. James Bond is at least consistently ok.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -0/+45please, someone, kill the Scary Movie people
- smokewater, on 01/09/2009, -1/+43Because most James Bond movies are entertaining.
- doiveo, on 01/08/2009, -1/+37That would make a good title for the next Bond "Just Refuse to Die"
- Hero0fTime, on 01/09/2009, -0/+30Sara the Triceratops was such a bitch.
- mandarin, on 01/08/2009, -6/+35You forgot Spiderman
- Mohdoo, on 01/09/2009, -3/+28LONG LIVE LITTLE FOOT!!!
- DevSingh1359, on 01/09/2009, -0/+23Dugg for Saw and Scary Movie. Those movies are just getting ridiculous.
- Pake, on 01/09/2009, -6/+29Star Wars.
- Dumbledorito, on 01/09/2009, -2/+20"The Mummy" franchise needs to be shut down, if they're planning on making more.
Ones that lived past their prime (some going into TV) included "Beastmaster," "Highlander," and "Clone Wars." - Relikh, on 01/09/2009, -0/+12@bishvili - Like this.
- smokewater, on 01/09/2009, -0/+11@bishvili, it's called the reply button, you use it when you want to "reply" to someone.
- airmann90, on 01/09/2009, -0/+104. EASwanson...
- Weezergames, on 01/08/2009, -3/+12Sarcastic guy from Family Guy " I get it cause the movie Saw is on the list and he said I never SAW that one coming"
- moges, on 01/09/2009, -0/+9Wow, you missed the point. The article was about making too many sequels to milk the concept, not "***** franchises".
- latexsolarbeef, on 01/09/2009, -1/+9ohhh...i get jokes!
/name it - MrFisty, on 01/09/2009, -0/+8We don't talk about that anymore. Not after what happened.
- Khast, on 01/09/2009, -0/+6The "First" ones were pioneering and epic movies....but as sequels are released, again and again....with the quality of the movie getting to the point where the movie is just riding on the fame of the first....and quality means nothing, because people who fondly remember the first movie can be suckered into paying another $10 for tickets. (Or in the case of Land Before Time..parents get suckered into buying the DVD for their kids.)
Sometimes, it is just time to put the movie franchise out if it's misery... - inactive, on 01/09/2009, -0/+6Hey! I liked Land Before Time!
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -0/+5i watch the first Saw and it wasn't good enough to make me watch the others.
- GIJimbo929, on 01/09/2009, -0/+5...it's a little late for that. He's been dead for a couple million years now.
- PHJames88, on 01/09/2009, -0/+5Oh ho hooooo! You funny guy!
- eTronicGaming, on 01/09/2009, -0/+5What about "Disney Movies"?
- IvenomI, on 01/08/2009, -0/+5Precisely
- DephexTwin, on 01/09/2009, -0/+5Pixar's movies are great! They are the best thing that ever happened to post-Walt Walt Disney.
- jefrim, on 01/09/2009, -2/+7Seconded
- malschla, on 01/09/2009, -0/+5Okay, except for the Air Bud and Land Before Time series, I agree.
That's not to say I like those series, it's that adults cannot possibly rate what children enjoy. If they(children) enjoy it, and it isn't harmful, keep making more. - Reddog_x2000, on 01/09/2009, -0/+4Good call on Highlander. The first one was pretty cool. The Second was probably the worst piece of ***** I'd ever seen until the 5th. The 3rd was so-so. The theatrical version of the 4th was terrible, but the directors cut was passable, if only because there were more naked boobies. As for the 5th, I rented it at the red box, watched the whole thing and didn't get my dollars worth. The series was pretty uneven too. So, why do I keep going back. Beats the hell out of me.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -0/+4you've ... ruined... everything ...for me
- XtheXlanternX, on 01/09/2009, -0/+4The Mummy was the first one that popped into my head. I really couldn't believe it wasn't on there. The first one was mildly interesting and everything else was AWFUL.
- coyote1284, on 01/09/2009, -0/+4Are you purposely Grammar Nazi baiting... or are you really that stupid?
- inactive, on 01/08/2009, -7/+11@mandarin if they came up with more creative names than spiderman 2 and 3 it would be better
- cityscape, on 01/09/2009, -1/+5How is Rocky not on this list?
- ClevelandBrown, on 01/09/2009, -0/+4Yeah, I ***** hated her. I loved when she cried in the first one.
- kloudera, on 01/09/2009, -0/+4We were all in the theater that day...we all saw it happen.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -2/+6what part of the anus did you pull that from.
- PhantomPhoenix, on 01/09/2009, -2/+6What about Chucky? (Child's Play)
- GojiraBreath, on 01/09/2009, -3/+7Buried for not having Gojira - 29 movies if you include the American one.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -1/+4Looks like someone has a crush...
- DephexTwin, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3All Dogs Go To Heaven?
- ZombieSociety, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3Buried for the following reasons: We're complaining about A Nightmare on Elm Street? Seriously? The last one came out *15* years ago. Meanwhile, ______ Movie literally comes two a year, and each one manages to get even worse ratings than the last, and, saddest of all, these two douchebags Friedberg and Seltzer continue to make mad cash thanks to the general moviegoing public who, somehow, have yet to realize that these movies are ATROCIOUS. But, let's be honest, they're not in this to make good movies.
- knifesideleft, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3The 4th American Pie movie was pretty bad but god it had some hot chicks. Its one of the very few movies I can enjoy on visuals only like FF The Spirits Within.
- Shawnshank, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3Hellraiser.
- Caleb83, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3I had no idea there were like 10 Air Bud movies. Even the article doesn't really appreciate the gravity of the situation
- flamesoftheend, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3So true.. DIE DAMN YOU!!! DIE!!
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3i shed a tear when i remember that movie. so beautiful. i remember my carefree childhood days. and Milo and Otis too.
- PhantomPhoenix, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3There have been 8 Alien/Predator movies in 30. That's an average of one every 3.75 years, which is just a little more than one Child's Play Movie every 4 years.
- c8h8r8i8s8, on 01/09/2009, -0/+3false
- snobrder218, on 01/09/2009, -2/+5"Tobin Bell has stated that he was signed on for a total of five sequels, and producer Oren Koules confirmed on June 22, 2007 that VI was being written at the time"

That article came out in 06 and the first saw was in 04. Meaning at least in 05, absolute latest, that contract happened.
No anus, pure fact. Jerk. -
