- blackbeltbones, on 10/10/2007, -2/+36I would nearly kill to see Bird do Psychonauts. Gotta be one of my favorite all-time games!
- xOKxWhy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+35Not sure I agree with Bay for Metal Gear Solid

- n8f8, on 10/10/2007, -3/+29Joss Whedon - Firefly Seasons 2-6
- Puppetfunk, on 10/10/2007, -4/+279. Joss Whedon - Serenity IV
- kavery, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22"I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark when he made 'Pearl Harbor'. I miss you more than that movie missed the point, and that's an awful lot, girl."
- imdeanlabouty, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20As a Metal Gear Solid fan, I stopped reading right about here:
Michael Bay directing
METAL GEAR SOLID - golfwidow, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15If Terry Gilliam isn't going to go forward with "Good Omens," I'd like to see him give a go to "Wyrd Systers." Also, I wouldn't mind it if Forest Whittaker would take a crack at remaking Oscar Micheaux' "Body and Soul," which got butchered by the censors when it was originally released in 1925.
- Protoss, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Wow...I dugg every one of you up.
- bitterbug, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14Watchmen should be made as a high budget mini-series. No director will do the story justice in two hours.
- canewediggit, on 10/10/2007, -6/+18i think i'd rather see tarantino do valley of the dolls, but that wes anderson call was perfect
- DollaDollaBill, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Thank god! Micheal Bay is the ***** bane of good film. Give MGS with someone at least with a little but of tact. Let Kojima direct it. He already made beautiful works of interactive media, let him do the really thing.
- TrueXtremeIcon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10C....C....C.....C...COMBO BREAKER
- Testify.Alex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9True, I feel like the action in MGS would have to be to muted for Bay's style.
- badjoke, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Half Life 2's kinda...I don't know boring story-wise. Defeat the combine because....they're bad or invaded earth or something!
- iblaine, on 10/10/2007, -3/+12Michael Bay should never be allowed to direct another movie again, ever.
- gwhardyiv, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10I'm 50 comments deep here, and nobody has mentioned the brilliant pairing of Wes Anderson with Confederacy of Dunces. It's the only film on that list that made me think the author actually put some thought into this. Digg sucks.
- davidhildreth, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Michael Bay shouldn't be allowed on any movie set.
- empressofmetal, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10No doubt, I'd love to see "Runaways" be made into a movie. The problem is, who would play the young superheroes? Are there any teen actors today cool enough to pull it off? And who would play little Molly? That's probably the most important role if they're going to pull off a big-screen adaptation of this.
- fudgeigor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Half Life 2 IS a movie, and its a good storyline overall, it has action, romance, and some comedy. The way the story is told and played through it plays like a movie though, and I doubt anyone would be a capable silent bad ass (aka Gordon Freeman)
- abhirao, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I dont think of Michael Bay when I think of stealth. Quite the opposite in fact.
- Roger, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8How about any action movie by James Cameron.
- Jambi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Agreed. Give it to HBO, because no movie coming out of Hollywood is going to do the story justice.
- descentgr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Uhh..no. Ender's Game has to be edgy.
Ender's Game - Alfonso Cuaron - meez, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6At the end of Serenity, Mal is teaching River how to do you-know-who's job, and so I can assume she would replace him. I think they would be "still flying" for a Serenity 2, although 5 more TV seasons would be much better! :)
- luke16, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Still waiting for Watchmen to come out, best graphic novel ever
- meez, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Duh, this is Firefly. Everything that is Firefly related deserves OVER NINE THOUSAND diggs.
- Roger, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Would you prefer Uwe Boll?
- Puppetfunk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Please Die now for those Heretic thoughts.
- n8f8, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8Ender's Game directed by Joss Whedon
- counterplex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Kudos to mike81890 and meez ... excellent non-spoilery hints :)
- Satanael, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Buried for being a high-maintenance jackass
- oneoverzero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Maybe not the best, but definitely up there. (I like sandman, what can I say?)
However, watchmen isn't that unlikely, considering what a hit V for Vendetta was... - Heywoodj, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Ridley Scott dusts off the old Blade runner props and fleshes out the last 2 episodes of Cowboy Bebop
Nuff-said - statrick, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4i'd love to see Alfonso Cuarón (Children of men, Prisoner of Azkaban) do World War Z by Max Brooks.
- Rayor, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5You just contradicted yourself.
- mike81890, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Sorry.. who else died? I only remember the leaf on the wind.
- Vanor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I'd prefer somebody who didn't suck.
- rgodfrey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4It's a geek-centric list (yeah, I guess I shouldn't complain, this is Digg), but I love the idea of Wes Anderson doing Confederacy of Dunces. Great call!
- listrophy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5*Spoiler alert* (in case you haven't seen it yet)
How would he make a Serenity II without you-know-who and you-know-who? It's like their deaths symbolized the death of that franchise, sadly enough. More Firefly, on the other hand... - fnaqzna, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Damn straight. His best movie was probably Scarface, one of the most overrated movies of all time.
- meez, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4"I don't care what you believe, just -- believe it"
- mrosenow, on 03/30/2009, -1/+5Buried for Michael Bay directing MGS. He would do go for the action, but MGS has an awesome storyline that Bay would totally blow off for more explosions.
- XxIronhidexX, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4They need to make a remake of Fahrenheit 451.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3They should do that, but the ***** ups in Hollywood even rejected David Hayters script.
- thebenchase, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6still waiting for ender's game....
- brsteve88, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Actually, there was a rumor that Uwe Boll had signed on to do a Metal Gear Solid movie, and when asked about it, Kojima pretty much said there was no way that would ever happen because he would never allow his franchise to be murdered by that piece of ***** director. Score one for Kojima.
- boituma, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3The Iron Giant is one of my favorite all time movies!
