Yes, I didn't like it. I thought it took an extremely simple, unoriginal theme and wrapped it up in a fantasy world designed to appeal to the mass market using the most basic possible English. It's full of cliches, tired characters, and rehashed fantasy plots.
I didn't find any redeeming value to it whatsoever. It feels like a comic book in prose form. Some literary critics agreed and went further than the term 'garbage,' and some were enamored with it. That's how it goes. - LinuxCobra, on 07/13/2009, -2/+1doesn't mean she is loose, it just uhh.. hangs.

Wow...I'm with you on this one vault...Harry Potter is pathetic. I'm not against the book or anything...but when that is the most popular book in the world, you can tell we're all in trouble.
