- schweeet, on 10/11/2007, -2/+52Where is Ben Affleck?
- chris2324, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15lets think...who the real monster is here folks... WE are... we killed the site... we man, we diggers killed the link... how could we... (weeping)
Cut to the wide shot/ birds eye view as the camera back up...and the sappy musical score.....Roll credits.... - cyberwiz01, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Isn't this basically a list of ALL movie monsters?
- carinishead, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10I wouldn't call Elephant Man a monster. He was a man with a disability.
- RealmDown, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10The Backstreet Boys are making a comeback?
- SilverBlade2k, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9site is dead...wow...
- iamnos, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7In this context I can live with it. Jaws certainly belongs on the list before Chucky does. I can live with everything else on that list, except Chucky. Nothing about those movies ever scared me... its a fscking doll!
- hotelhotline, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10You gotta love October - all the ghosts, goblin and ghoul stories come out....
- NekoAmplifier, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Another pointless list, hooray
- bytor4232, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8John Merrick: I am not an elephant! I am not an animal! I am a human being! I am a man!
- The Elephant Man (1980) - mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5haha, they actually are. I was looking at list of albums that are coming out this year on metacritic, and they were in there.
- mistercharlie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Is Jaws really a monster? Not that it didn't scare the hell out of me back in the 70s...
- mbthompson, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Me too, especially that horrible face that shows up during the the part where the priest is shown walking and all the cutscenes flash by, it's in there and terrorized me until I was 13 or 14 (saw when I was 10). And thanks Madsen, I think I just crapped my pants.
Holy geez I just found it!
http://www.theedge.abelgratis.co.uk/booksfilm/exor ... - Vvolf, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5LOL link dead after 54 diggs.
- Gregnog, on 10/14/2007, -0/+4This list sucks, 31 is a ***** number to use, why 31, why not 50, or 20, or 25, 31? WTF?
Besides it's missing so many good ones, like zombies, where the hell where the zombies on the list? How about Dinosaurs like in Jurassic Park (if Jaws was on there than surely dinosaurs should be); what about the Host, Tremors, sandworms, rubber poop monsters? Come on, if you're going to make a list of something at least make it something interesting not the same recycled garbage. - TheHydrogens, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4That was a solid 4 minutes of being front page before the site was down.
- arcane14, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4The Page Cannot Be Displayed Monster! That didn't take long.
- CosmoKramer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4The special effects in John Carpenter's The Thing still look amazing today.
- Synthesize, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Please tell me E.T. is on there... that ***** alien scared me ***** when I was little.
- blaaguuu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I wasn't even going to look at another dumb "Top X List", until i read your comment and thought "Oh, they better have Annie Wilkes on there"... And they do! Still not worth a digg, though. Especially since they left off The Host.
- wendelgee2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It was a monster in the sense that it had a monstrous personality. A normal shark that mistakes a surfer for a seal is not monstrous.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3No Blacula?
- fnaqzna, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Oops... my sarcasm filter missed that one.
- QaSpel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Um, because Halloween is on the 31st?
- Madsen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3You might "enjoy" the infamous "Spider Walk" scene that was cut out of the final version of the movie: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Zd0hi6zw6to
- Propapanda, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Well yeah... well done practical effects well always look good it's just CG effects that look like complete ***** after about a year.
- neognostic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3He wasn't a monster. But the flying monkeys in "The Wizard of Oz" are much scarier than Chucky.
- ktervalon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3They forgot the host, that's the best I've seen so far. Ever.

- tbone8978, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3where is the clown from IT? That thing still scares the hell out of me.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Should I sign up here with this comment?
- bratterscain, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2He's what some kids might call a monster thanks to dramatic and ignorant people. My nephew is sometimes confused from a disfigured man and a monster. Shame it's that way.
- yizuman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2site got digged to death, mirror?
- Xinephzero, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3...And yet you just spammed.
- juggalofr33k, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2sites been dead since 50 diggs, and people are still digging it? why? mirror, anyone?
- CheeseburgerBro, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That sucked. That wasn't an article, it was a catalogue.
- Cabal, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Ben Affleck: Mango, it's me, Ben Affleck.
Mango: Ben who-fleck? What? Who is this?
Ben Affleck: I mean.. [ disguising his voice ] Hey.. it's me, Matt Damon!
Mango: Oh! Matt Damon! Hi! - mfalk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3MIRROR: http://buzz.botw.org.nyud.net:8080/entertainment/3 ...
- mbthompson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This damn face from the Exorcist scared the piss out of me for a long time.
http://www.eileendietz.com/fv5.htm - calmeacham, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Hey, at least it wasn't a list from Cracked.com.......Why wasn't Kathy Bates from "About Schmidt" included on this list? That hot tub scene is one of the scariest monsters that I have ever seen!
- windmillninja, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2They left out Rosie O' Donnel in Exit to Eden.
- Torx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The Thing is the scariest on that list.
- Zanza, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I was disappointed that Blacula wasn't on the list
- Mackofalltrades, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Barbara Streisand?
- NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's missing the terrifying monster from Glitter, Mariah Carrey
- kilodelta, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1buddy, i get nervous in Lake Ontario because of Jaws. (i really should be scared of the pollution in the lake)
- ORiONXxX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1dugg for the blob taking place in my town
- tehseanzor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1haven't heard of the candyman but I've heard if you say biggie smalls 3 times he will appear...
- Conwaysb0718, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1No Beetlejuice?
- yfguitarist, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What a bizarre leap you just made. "I've seen every one of those movies, therefore, I must be sick." No matter how "sick" you want people to think you are, unfortunately, you aren't. Sorry.
