- kevincredible, on 07/07/2009, -4/+58Let's just say that if digg were a restaurant and I read this description on the menu, I would assume it came with onions.
Oh, and legalize marijuana. - ThsGuyRightHere, on 07/06/2009, -2/+43No. NO. NO NO NO NO NO.
Just let it die FFS. It was a good movie and a good story. There's more to the story of interest but only from a historical point of view. Let it go. - Marlon, on 07/06/2009, -1/+37I would've had more respect for Miller if he had said "No".
- jesusluvsme, on 07/06/2009, -0/+34If King Leonidas comes back, I better not hear "THIS IS SPARTA" again. I've heard it enough at Halloween parties.
- a5ph, on 07/07/2009, -0/+34A sequel? To 300??
That's.... Madness!!! - avirk86, on 07/07/2009, -1/+26300 Spartans vs. Nazi Zombies, I would watch that
- DouglasQ, on 07/07/2009, -0/+22300 2
- lougoose, on 07/07/2009, -1/+16I have no idea what you just said, but I completely agree with it.
- arcadiansky, on 07/07/2009, -1/+16I loved '300' just as much as the next guy...
...but this sounds like it could potentially be as bad as a sequel for 'Titanic' would be. - Soniti, on 07/07/2009, -0/+13OF A BALANCED BREAKFAST
- scott1, on 07/07/2009, -0/+12Madness? THIS IS HOLLYWOOD making less risk during the recession by making sequels to previously successful films. Such as the case would be in 300
- consonance, on 07/07/2009, -2/+14THIS. IS. THRILLER.
- rocknog, on 07/07/2009, -1/+9HI BILLY MAYS HERE. DO YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF WONDERING WHAT CITY-STATE YOU'RE IN?
- argagarg, on 07/07/2009, -3/+11Wait, does King Leonidas and his 300 come back as zombies, or do they just somehow manage to still be alive so they can slaughter a bunch of zombies?
Either way, it would be awesome. Because both involve Leonidas and zombies. - faskill, on 07/07/2009, -1/+9Too 300 Too Furious?
- visionaryIX, on 07/07/2009, -1/+9301?
- glendower, on 07/07/2009, -2/+10Left 300 Dead
- elmuerte17, on 07/07/2009, -2/+9THIS... IS.... PART OF A BALANCED BREAKFAST!!!
- Ashinon, on 07/07/2009, -0/+7They just HAVE to milk it don't they?...
- hfactor, on 07/07/2009, -0/+7Seriously. It might be time to outlaw sequels, this is getting ridiculous.
- DouglasQ, on 07/07/2009, -0/+7Easiest diggs I've ever gotten.
- Crimsoneer, on 07/07/2009, -0/+6Nope, recounts the historical account of Zombie Spartans against Athens. Duh.
- MrM1yagi, on 07/07/2009, -0/+6Survivors... We put their name to the test.
- Shaggy3, on 07/07/2009, -2/+8Zombie Leonidas sounds pretty epic to me.
That mans voice made the movie. He is the Billy Mays of Sparta. - WatIsNotTaknYet, on 07/07/2009, -0/+6Well the article quoted Canton as saying that they might bring Leonidas back from the dead, but that might not be meant to be taken literally. It's probably going to be a story of Leonidas in some previous adventure in his past or some *****.
Maybe we might even get a teen Leo (played by Zac Efron) along with his three other buddies (Jonas Bros.) go to look for a dead body whilst "Stand By Me" plays in the background. Yea I could barely get through that last sentence without puking in my mouth. - h4mx0r, on 07/07/2009, -0/+6300 Days of Night. Okay so those are vampires and not zombies, but you get the idea.
- Mothh, on 07/07/2009, -0/+6Madness? THIS IS...well...actually it is madness. Good call!
- wraiyne, on 07/07/2009, -0/+5*****, i might even buy that and not pirate it.
- ZincSaucier, on 07/07/2009, -0/+5Come on guys, they can't bring back Leonidas.. that would be madness..
- jman583, on 07/07/2009, -0/+5This Is Spart-!
- Genecalypse, on 07/07/2009, -0/+5300 ZOMBIES..VS ONE MAN
THIS WAS SPARTA! - gabbertron, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4I think it would be cool of the Spartans were in the Greek underworld fighting their way to get back to Sparta.. you know through the hordes of well.. whatever Hades throws at them..Not having Hades as an "evil" villain but someone that has to keep people in there. That would be a neat concept.
- Falldog, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4Wouldn't this just involve the Battle of Plataea? 'cause that'd be cool.
- enantiodromia, on 07/07/2009, -3/+7Let me guess, the sequel will contain even less historical accuracy.
- enantiodromia, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4oh right, the Peloponnesian-Zombie war of 431B.C.
- wraiyne, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4... i think you just killed my soul...
- wraiyne, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4this was figured out a long time ago *****
and, seeing as how you're on digg, youre condemning yourself. - GeorgeStone2, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3It could be set before 300.
- kevincredible, on 07/07/2009, -1/+4300 - 298
- benroy, on 07/07/2009, -2/+5The only place zombies are mentioned was in the headline. I read no mention of zombies in the actual body of the article.
Regardless, Marc Canton looks like a giant douchebag. - 1what1, on 07/07/2009, -1/+4I see what you did there.
- Tiggums, on 07/07/2009, -1/+4You're Crazy!
- spookyttws, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3So in other words, "Hey the movie was a cash cow, let's make a sequel."
"Ummm, alright, but all the character's were killed off..how do you propose this is going to work?"
"Who cares, any contrived storyline will put money in the bank, let's rework 'Beverley Hills Chihuahua' so that it's colored like a comic book!"
"Genius!" - Stormwern, on 07/07/2009, -2/+5A direct sequel couldn't possibly be good, there are plenty of badass warriors throughout history they could center on instead. The Templar during the crusades often took on 10 to 1 odds and won for example.
- Swordman554, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANpnPSlwm1M Trailer's out
- Jovian84, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3every last dime
- mkNix, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3As a person who grew up imagining these histories and myths from books, and actually served in the army in Sparta, reading an article like this just makes me dislike new Hollywood movies (and especially directors) even more.
- 9umber9ine, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3Bring in Michael Bay!
We'll have a prehistoric EXPLOWSIOONN!! - danwallace, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3Go watch the History channel. Leave my action movies alone.
