That movie won the Oscar for Best Original Song for 2007, and was shot for less than $150,000.
I saw that one in the movie theater (an indie-themed Dipson a couple of towns over) and left after the closing credits wondering if I could pick up the soundtrack CD on the way home. I knew how much the movie cost to make before watching it, and never once did it feel like a cheap production. The quality of the film is equal to any blockbuster film, but much more satisfying.
