        Also, remember the way people notice presence: 1. movement, 2. color, 3. noise - don't breathe while slipping in, 4. strangeness.

        Do take care to stay out of their cone of vision if possible.

        Wait for a moment when something happens - a phone ringing, a door opening, a sudden backfire of a car - and move that second they aren't paying attention to anything else.

        It only takes a second, and fun ensues when you tap their shoulder. Do be careful of the karate experts. Know your surprisee.
