- inactive, on 11/11/2008, -0/+8The M.A.S.K. toys were seriously cool when I was 10.
- Enasni1212, on 11/11/2008, -0/+8This is a list of 20 movie that should never be made.
- d2002, on 11/11/2008, -0/+7Oh god... Don't give them any ideas!
- AmyVernon, on 11/11/2008, -0/+7inaccurate (sorta) on the green slime - it became famous on You Can't Do That On Television...
- Gr00ver, on 11/11/2008, -0/+6Dino-Riders would be an epic movie.
- craznfish, on 11/11/2008, -0/+5why would these make good movies again?

- jakash, on 11/11/2008, -0/+4Anyone remember those Action Man adverts:
♪ Action Man, the Greatest Hero of them All! ♫ - charliejane, on 11/11/2008, -1/+5It mentions Go-Bots, although they're so close to Transformers. As for Thundercats, they were a TV show first and *then* a toy. Not a toy that became a TV show later.
- charliejane, on 11/11/2008, -0/+4Yeah, but the green slime hasn't starred in a movie yet! TV shows don't count.
- Wakkyweed, on 11/11/2008, -0/+4I'm waiting for "Slinky: The Movie".
- charliejane, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3OK, the list no longer includes He-Man. Also, GoBots hada movie.

- infinitus64, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2but they are classic toys that are not films so your point is moot.
- inactive, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2thundercats movie coming in 2011, n00b
- inactive, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2ITT: People who are the reason crap movies like "Transformers" appear successful to movie studios without original ideas.
In reality, none of these movies should be made and you should all GTFO now. - pipipie, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2M.A.S.K. should really be a movie..i remember that stuff being badass..plus the cartoon was right up there with rambo and the forces of freedom.
Visionaries - I loved these things...even tho i never owned them. I loved the commericals. I used to break out my copy of GI Joe the movie on VHS (that i taped off of tv) just to rewatch the commercials. Man i'm a loser.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Centurians (even tho they were left off the list) on the big screen..that would be kinda cool. - mediaspree, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2My Buddy? Oh wait...right, that was Childsplay...
- echo2501, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Jem?
no?
She's truly outrageous. Truly truly truly outrageous. - BigPapi, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Mask was awesome. It totally deserves a terrible hollywood adaptation.
- sooska, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2You beat me to it, Wakkyweed
- southeastbeast, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Dugg for M.A.S.K. that theme song is still stuck in my head....
"Masked crusaders, working overtime... m-m-m-m-maskkk!"

OMG and Dinoriders!?!? I was just youtube'n both of these at work with my friend lol - MCA2142, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2They already made a He-Man flick.
Masters of the Universe - inactive, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Dugg for Green Slime.
- CurtisSimpson, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2these are movies Michael Bay would be more then eager to make..........and destroy
- Akaziel, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2I do! Hell that show had some actual scary ***** in it. Like I remember there was one guy who had a clear body, and you could see the acid in his stomach. When he ate someone (which he always did), you would watch them get digested until nothing but a skeleton was left. It was scary as hell as a kid!
- MikeyBillz, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Am I the only person on the planet who remembers (and liked) Inhumanoids?? I thought it had a riveting plot, and some scary ass monsters....It could totally be made into a serious movie...as a matter of fact, the Cloverfield monster was a bit of a Inhumanoid ripoff....
Anyway....does anyone else remember them? - MacHarborGuy, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2actually TV does count. The article even stats that...
"Has there been a TV show or comic book? Fraid not."
and even if TV doesn't count, I seem to remember a few movies and remakes called "Flubber" that involved green slime (bouncy slime, but slime none the less)
http://www.impawards.com/1997/posters/flubber_ver3 ... - burnin8r28, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Green slime. A.K.A. Flubber.
- level32, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Dugg for M.A.S.K. & Madballs
- RaulMuadDib, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1I just saw the stupidest show being made. It's called Secret Saturdays.
- MacHarborGuy, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1whoops, didn't notice Visionaries was the BONUS one at the very bottom of the article. i stand corrected on that one. even still, COPS kicked far more ass and deserves a film more than Action Man.
- Armitage2k, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1arrg... Why no Slinky?!?!
- Akaziel, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Dugg for MASK, for Micronauts, for Dino-Riders, and most of all, my absolute favorite toy as a child (I had them all, and in fact still have a bucket of assorted ones somewhere), Battle Beasts.
Okay now I need Digg's help. They say nothing is obscure on the internet. There was a toy line around the early 80's (I was born in 79, and I remember having these when I was like 5 or 6)...it was a series of popcan-sized (and kind of shaped, too) robots, all with the same basic shape but different features. They all had a suction-cup base instead of legs, and they had these hollow, springy plastic arms that were kind of like Popoids (if anyone remembers THOSE!). There was a button on their back that you could thumb down to make their arms move. They had primarily domelike heads. Nowadays they remind me of Daleks with arms and faces. Anyone know what the hell I'm talking about? I remember that I had a couple of them, but my friend next door had like the entire line of them.
Also....for nostalgia's sake, does anyone else but me remember Jayce & The Wheeled Warriors? - miker71, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1dugg for Micronauts
- gglynn07, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1I still have a pretty good collection of M.A.S.K. and Dinoriders toys from when I was a kid. They did make animated movies for both of these btw.
- jasonsalas, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1umm...hello?!?!? Inhumanoids? :-)
- MikeyBillz, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1What a riveting plot...a movie starring BALLS....I own a couple of those...but they're not madballs....
- MikeyBillz, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Not to sound gay...but Toy Story 3 has barbie and Ken in it...ok...that sounds REALLY gay....
- MikeyBillz, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Already a movie
- doctechnical, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Wow, did Slime fire some nostalgia neurons. I loved that stuff! One of the greatest things about it was all the fart noises you could make with it!
Anyone have a recipe for home made Slime? It can't be that hard... - MikeyBillz, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1He-Man was already made into a movie...two, I believe....and Thundercats is going to be a movie...I belive it's in pre-production now.
But definitely, MASK needs to be movie! It's the mighty power that will save the day! -
