19 Upcoming Horror Movies We're Dying to See
omghorror.com — Here's a cool list of upcoming horror movies that any fan would not want to miss. My only critique is that Hellboy II ain't horror, even though Guillermo does dabble in the genre. Great list nonetheless.

- digg it
- squishee, on 03/29/2008, -0/+30"Midnight Meat Train" sounds like a hardcore porno.
- reflex768, on 03/29/2008, -3/+5I'd say Cell would be number one out of that list for me. That novel read like the old (scary) King of the 70s and early 80s. The adaptation of McCarthy's The Road would be number one out of those not on this list.
- grimward, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1There's actually already a movie adapted from that book by stephen king, it's called "pulse" :P
- rpgmaker, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2That movie sucked in every possible way. I'm sure that anybody that didn't read the book first won't get the movie until the few minutes.
- grimward, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Actually, I agree with you wholeheartedly, that movie sucked so bad it would have given a black hole a run for it's money :)
But still, it's been DONE already :P

- maddog66, on 03/29/2008, -1/+15#14: Machete + Robert Rodriguez = win.
- YourTechSupport, on 03/29/2008, -1/+1I've never seen that trailer, but it's just oozing AWESOME.
- uziko, on 03/29/2008, -7/+1where the hell is saw 5?
- JerseySlam, on 03/29/2008, -2/+8exactly.
- phazon88, on 03/29/2008, -1/+2LOL.
- JEBUSCRYST, on 03/29/2008, -11/+5List Fails, there hasn't been a good horror movie since the 90s
- xXMetalJesusXx, on 03/29/2008, -1/+4List is Fine...You Fail at searching further than Blockbuster for horror films...
- Cyberdactyl, on 03/29/2008, -1/+3Try "The Descent"
- Shadic, on 03/29/2008, -2/+5...Anybody else surprised that there even is 19 Upcoming Horror movies announced?
- Specialist, on 03/29/2008, -2/+1Rouge should defiantly not be on there. It was released here in Australia a few months back, needless to say it was far from a hit. Would any more be expected from any movie involving a giant crocodile/any other form of giant creature?
- MrAlexanderZ, on 03/29/2008, -4/+4Bury on the grounds that 2 out of 19 movies look good. The rest are exactly what the "good doctor" concludes as being the reasons we should take the directors out the back and beat them with a rubber hose.
- Tyrghast, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Often times the campy, really crappy horror movies are the most fun.
- VicHislop, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I saw "Teeth" and I really wish I had not read that list. Now I'm reminded of it just when I really need to pee.
- longlukey, on 03/29/2008, -0/+4Teeth?.......are you kidding me???????
- obeythefist, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Teeth looks like the most ***** up movie on the list.
- Bricks, on 03/29/2008, -3/+2Seems like the last real horror renaissance was from Asia in the 90s. Heres to hoping for some groundbreaking Ringu/Kairo/Ju-On level stuff in the near future.
- UrinalPooper, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Korea is putting forth a lot of solid horror films that have made it over here to the states...
- steveoco, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I am an Aussie, I talk to Aussies all day but I always find that Aussie accents sound strange in movies. But love it none the less.
- SmellyFingers, on 03/29/2008, -3/+0No Prom Night?
- xXMetalJesusXx, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I went through to find Friday the 13th remake (By Michael Bay...*shudders*) just so I could bury this article and leave a nasty comment. But it's a fairly well done list...I hate it when digg doesn't disappoint me... :s
- 4d669, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3Wait till people find out that Michael Bay is gonna remake The Birds, that's scarier than any horror movie, even ***** would be afraid of that *****. Someone make a petition or something...
- xXMetalJesusXx, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3Yeah, I'm hoping that the Friday the 13th remake will tank so hard they'll pull The Birds out from underneath him. And then pull Nightmare on Elm Street out too...cause holy *****, if he ruins 3 good horror films...well...I'd most likely just come back to bitch about it in every Bay topic on Digg...lol
- bubba9999, on 03/29/2008, -2/+2Exploding ***** birds. Everywhere. Awesomeness.
- Blue_Eon, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I was hoping to see the Last House on the Left remake on there, but a lot of these others one seem like they'll be great.
- Sk8SkaNJ, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I don't know how to react to them remaking Silent Night, Deadly Night. On one hand most remakes suck and are generic, on the other hand the premise could prove hilarious if done right.
- PueSi, on 03/29/2008, -4/+2Hellboy was such a bad movie i can't believe i kept watching it till the end, i thought it would stop sucking eventually.
I don't now who would want to see the sequel after that pile of *****. - TheCaterpillar, on 03/29/2008, -3/+2Too bad they don't make good horror movies anymore.
- ep53, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Awake. Is freaking INSANE! http://imdb.com/title/tt0211933/
- DarthShaun, on 03/29/2008, -2/+1Modern horrors are crumby. It's easy to see they're really scraping at the bottom of the idea barrel.
- obeythefist, on 03/29/2008, -2/+1There is nothing funny about how frightening this guy's grammar and spelling are. Digg me down, but that still won't make me wrong. Nor will it make this potentially great article good.
- social101, on 03/29/2008, -0/+0Thanks, for mentioned these horror movies. The persons who are interested in will be enjoyed as they don't need to find of them.
- onoffswitch, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1please oh god tell me machete is real..!!!!! i want to ***** with the wrong Mexican
- pigfister, on 03/29/2008, -4/+1more talentless crap movies from teh MPAA.
- tnatharik, on 03/29/2008, -3/+1Scary movies = Story Sucks. But the orphanage has good story and scary element.
- neuber, on 03/29/2008, -3/+0What the hell, "The Box" stole its whole concept word for word from a Twilight Zone episode. "Teeth" sounds like something my friends and I joked about in high school. I always thought horror movies could get less cheesy over time and more believable. I can watch the news and find scarier stuff than half this junk.
- spawnfree, on 03/29/2008, -1/+3at
the
mountains
of
madness.
pls. - ferrariboy430, on 03/29/2008, -2/+0what the ***** is up with the movie "teeth". she has teeth in her pussy?what does she do bite off dicks
- grimward, on 03/29/2008, -2/+1... most of these movies are just horrible from the premise alone, or recycles old ideas such as "serial killer murders because of [insert completely boring reason here]" However, the only movie that would be cool would possibily be the last one on the list, because Sam Raimi at least knows how to get a good feeling into a movie, even if it's a low budget laugh fest.
- kokoshka, on 03/29/2008, -1/+3The Orphanage is one of the scariest movies to come out in a long, long time. Just the right amount of gore and creepy as hell. Guillermo's finest. I highly recommend getting a hold of a copy.
- a7bat, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3Guillermo didn't direct or write it, he just helped produce it.
- wacapp85, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1The movie The Box is based on a story by Richard Matheson(author of I Am Legend) who often wrote stories for the Twilight Zone. So it is not exactly ripping off the Twilight Zone, but reworking the story it was based on.
- monkeystick, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1"[rec]" should be #1.. if it ever gets a Region 1 release.
- Rizmaster, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I don't give a ***** about the movie, but Midnight Meat Train is the best addition to the lexicon in a long time.
It hasn't worked yet, but I've substituted MMT references over legitimate pick up lines a lot lately. I'm hoping it catches on. - Quickstrike, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Holy *****! A list contained on a single page?!
How is that possible?!!!
Dugg just for that. - Pegritz, on 03/29/2008, -2/+1There are only two films in that entire list that look as though they might even be *slightly* watchable: Hellboy II, which is most likely going to be Incredibly Bitchin', and The Midnight Meat Train, which has always been one of my favorite Clive Barker stories. Everything else, though, looks like it's going to be complete *****. Especially Teeth. It's a movie about a crazy girl with teeth in her vagina. What's so frightening about that? You take a look down there, see she's got teeth, pull a nine and shoot her in the ***** head. Roll credits.
- TheMoniker, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Fair enough, it's a matter of taste. But, if you're saying that without seeing any of Dario Argento's other films, you should check out Suspiria or Inferno. The Mother of Tears is the final movie in the trilogy and it looks like it will be great -- that is, if you like Italian horror (which isn't everyone's cup of tea).
- TheMoniker, on 03/29/2008, -0/+0Dugg for the third in Argento's Three Mothers trilogy and Machete. I can't wait.
- fryguy1013, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Machine Girl?
- Azriel7, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I am surprised they did not mention Lost Boys: The tribe
http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1583178&vid=21537 ... - antdude, on 03/30/2008, -0/+2Nice one page.
- Welcome2Rapture, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1Silent Night, Deadly Night sounds like the Santa clause from futurama
- someidiotinnj, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1***** the people who are digging down everyone who thinks these movies are gonna suck. Your probably the same people who thought "Cabin Fever" was the best film ever.
Digg me down assholes! - deadbaby, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1It's a shame George Romero didn't get to direct The Cell -- Stephen King even dedicated the book to him.
- PaulDelVecchio, on 03/30/2008, -0/+0Machette looks hysterical! I didn't know it was direct to DVD but still, that's awesome. Silent Night, Deadly Night.. hmmm.... Has anyone seen part 2. Check out some Youtube clips. Search for "Garbage Day," and you'll see what I'm talking about.
The Midnight Meat Train - I liked the story a lot. Hopefully it translates into a good film. - DanielNielsen, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1Most of those look like they stink. Machette looks fun though its not a horror movie. I want the old school 80´s ***** horror movies back, not this new lame *****.
- millerpang, on 03/31/2008, -0/+0She's a beautiful woman. She's so gorgeous. I love her. I saw her profile with photos and videos at myinterracialmatch. c o m . I also found her blog there. It's said that she's seeking for a young man to be the BF ? Is that ture ???
- 01one, on 03/31/2008, -0/+0Cute. I love the Horror Movies. He is so funny =)
