- perryc, on 01/13/2009, -0/+37I would be excited if I was at Sundance.
- SantaBJ, on 01/13/2009, -2/+26I saw Død Snø (Dead Snow) two days ago, and let me tell you - AWESOME! Might lose a bit in translation, but it's still hilarious. Nazi zombies in the snowy mountains, for crying out loud!
- nascentia, on 01/13/2009, -0/+18A lot of these look good, but I'm most excited about Dead Snow. Watch the official trailer (in high def.!) and tell me this doesn't look completely awesome.

...Now I'm sad. - jkendal4, on 01/13/2009, -1/+15Jim Carrey in serious flicks have been getting better and better with each go around. I can't wait to see that new Carrey flick "I love you Phillip Morris"
unfortunately i will not be at Sundance, just like the other 99.9% of digg - DraganDragan, on 01/13/2009, -0/+12No movies with hot chicks in bikini?
No superhero movies?
No movies starring cute animals that can talk?
Aaaaa, this is Sundance not Hollywood. My mistake. - LeadStripes, on 01/13/2009, -0/+10Dugg for Nazi Zombies and the Doors on the same page.
- c0st1k, on 01/13/2009, -0/+9I cant wait to see Mystery Team, Ive been anticipating it since i saw the trailer like a month ago.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxx1vOhlqmM - diggopolous, on 01/13/2009, -0/+8I'd be off to Sundance but these burgers aint gonna flip themselves!
- bossm4n, on 01/13/2009, -0/+6Looks like Shawn of the Dead set in Norway with Nazi zombies. Works for me.
- c0st1k, on 01/13/2009, -0/+6I like the idea of nazi zombies with no secret rooms, occult, Nazi experimentation, and tesla/miniguns. The whole idea sort of gets old after a while.
- ansatsu29, on 01/13/2009, -0/+5Dugg for the Nazi zombies in Dead Snow. Looks pretty scary and interesting at the same time.
- Redge, on 01/13/2009, -0/+5Yeah he was realy good in Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind.
- iankino, on 01/13/2009, -0/+4Derrick Comedy is making a movie?
Zombie Nazis?
Seems like a good year at Sundance - pyroguy56011, on 01/13/2009, -0/+4I'm amazingly excited for Moon. My only worry is that the director/writers don't really have an experience. Everyone else involved seems to be incredible. Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey in an eerie Moon-based film with Clint Mansell scoring it? Count me in. I just hope the directing and writing live up to the potential.
- zomgwaffles, on 01/13/2009, -0/+3***** your friends.
can't wait to see the chainsaw scene though. - ShadySpace, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2Mystery Team's the same guys who did the bro rape video.
- rsbryswrrl, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!
- brookpt, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2"When You’re Strange" seems really promising
- CIAVT, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2Park City (where the festival happens) is a little bubble of normal, surrounded by crazy mormons. The town overwhelmingly voted Obama, and is very very liberal. As for the rest of Utah, pretty much everything you have ever heard is true.
- vinceislegend, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2Dugg for Derrick at number one. I've been waiting for that movie since they announce it forever ago.
- mentorwarrior, on 01/20/2009, -0/+1This is always an exciting time in Hollywood. I'm always amazed by the newcomers in these films.. I can't help but wonder where they all studied. A good acting school is worth it’s weight in gold. The key is to find one that caters to your individual needs. Not only do you need the basic tools for auditioning, scene study and the like, but you need a curriculum that works with whatever your schedule may be. Whether you work all day, go to high school or care for your kids, not everyone can study in the traditional way. Another acting program that works this way is Film Connection. http://www.film-connection.com/Acting.htmlThe Film Connection’s acting program is affiliated with Joe Anthony studios and fetures valuable one-on-one mentoring. They are also available to anyone living in the United States and have financial aid assistance. Check out Film Connection's Youtube page with videos from students and mentors... http://www.youtube.com/user/FilmConnection2008
- TwwIX, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1Black Dynamite looks very authentic and ***** hilarious. It's also nice to see Jim Carrey doing a proper comedy movie once again.
- kwynn87, on 01/13/2009, -1/+2I have heard a lot of great things about Queens Boulevard. That Vincent has got some talent.
- eedok, on 01/14/2009, -0/+1No mother of invention?: http://exploreinspire.com/blog/
- dragonrebornn, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1I'd love to have time to get to Sundance. Dead Snow looks interesting.
- RansomHoldiay, on 01/14/2009, -0/+1yeah.
- trotc, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1I'm excited for "500 Days of Summer". Shame it's not on the list. But you guys should definitely catch it. It's a modern day pop musical (think Dr. Horrible), so it's going to be interesting how this goes through in Sundance.
- Heiminator, on 01/14/2009, -0/+1how could this ever get old???
- CIAVT, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1As a resident of Park City, I can say I love the Sundance Film Festival, I just wish it happened somewhere else. Traffic (LA rush-hour style, all day) everyone wears black and has a attitude. It's a HUGE pain in the ass as a local.
Also locals rarely get to see any of the flicks. - baysidecomedy, on 01/14/2009, -0/+1Dugg for Mystery Team, that movie will be awesome.
- inactive, on 01/14/2009, -0/+1A pair of gay-themed feature films are set to premiere at Sundance
http://www.ontopmag.com/article.aspx?id=3056&M ... - Magachan, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1You must!
- DrDigg, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1If you ever get a chance to make it out there it is a lot of fun. Few years ago I saw Hustle & Flow at Sundance. It was a late showing and ended at around 2am and it was at the local library so it was a small crowd. They had just sold the rights to the movie so they were in a good mood, and the director and a bunch of the actors showed up afterward to answer questions. Terrance Howard and Ludacris were both there for at least a half hour after the movie ended. Terrence Howard even ended up playing the piano and signing for a while. BTW tickets were like $10.
- Kennui, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1...after you get there, see these 13...
Its like he knows we wont be there... - Squeeself, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1Yes, but the local influx of money to Park City should be enough to keep locals happy?
- Spor, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1I have lived a little less than an hour away from Sundance my entire life. Perhaps this year I'll actually head up there, it is my last winter in Utah after all.
- Heiminator, on 01/14/2009, -0/+1seconded,this trailer was the most awesome thing i have seen in a long long time :-)
- inactive, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1Unfortunately for you, "I Love You Phillip Morris" is a comedy.
- OaklandNative, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1How easily we forget our vows
http://digg.com/politics/BOYCOTT_UTAH - sirdandan, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1Well I won't be at Sundance, but I certainly have a few ideas of what to add to my torrent que once their available.
- BestDudeEver, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1i thought that 2081, a film based on Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut, was going to play this year? no?
- erichh, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1Dead Snow was actually going to be named Red Snow (Rød Snø), but the producers got forced to change the name due to a Norwegian TV-series by the name. Either way, it’s going to kick ass!
- versualize, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1sigh....
two of my friends died filming Død snø. - houndeyex, on 01/13/2009, -2/+2"Sundance" and "Good Movies" are not synonymous
- representDLV, on 01/13/2009, -0/+0What's wrong with Mormons?
- Magachan, on 01/13/2009, -0/+0As far as i remember it was an old french show or somthing, not norwegian atleast
