  • EricAnderton, on 11/11/2008, -0/+5Its worth mentioning that Get Smart was a parody of The Man From UNCLE. In turn, The Inspector Gadget cartoon series* was kind of a play on Get Smart. Gadget himself was voice-acted by Don Adams, the same actor who played Maxwell Smart.

With Dr. Evil, Random Task and Number 2 the series was the best homage to 007 because it acknowledged its copying of Bond.= by going over the top. Mike Myers needs to reprise that role and put projects like The Love Guru and Shrek on the back burner.
