- sterntastic223, on 07/03/2008, -0/+11You mean Machete? And yes, that ***** would be bad ass.
- DrCrankenstein, on 07/03/2008, -0/+10I love 4 Rooms. And never got that DGA rule.
- digg-dugg, on 07/04/2008, -0/+9Come on. Director brother duos should be on another list all together. And where the hell's Twilight Zone the movie, and Poltergeist.
- N1tro, on 07/04/2008, -0/+8Isn't Jackson the Spielberg of today? I know they are different but i just always could compare the two in my own mind.
- LegendaryHitman, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7it's a damn shame Grindhouse 2 won't get made...I'd've loved to have seen "The Mexican" as a full length movie...that was one of the best parts of the whole thing!
- sock2828, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7Machete is being made into a full length film
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machete_(film) - flashthom, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7This has been going on for decades. "Gone With The Wind" and "The Wizard of Oz" -- both released by MGM in 1939 -- each had three separate directors. Incidentally, the director whom MGM called in to finish both projects on time and within budget was Victor Fleming , a studio favourite who knew how to crack the whip, and the only man credited in the films.
- LegendaryHitman, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6"Machete"...damn, my bad.
- masterm1nd, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6I'm pretty sure Spielberg is the Spielberg of today, but seriously I know what you mean.
- SHUUTOBI, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5Machete is being made into it's own film.
It wasn't a part of the movie it was a faux trailer between the two movies. - inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+4twilight zone movie???
- BillionWishlist, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3wow steven spielberg and peter jackson should be a good combination!
- SHUUTOBI, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3All amazing movies on that list.
- Pzycho, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3Don't forget About A Boy. Sure, it wasn't a blockbuster, but it was an excellent movie that had two directors.
- Stormwern, on 07/04/2008, -2/+5Not really a movie, but Steven Spielberg's and Tom Hanks' Band of Brothers is a masterpiece.
- Hojohto, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3I'm really surprised Twilight Zone: The Movie didn't make it to the list.
- warplayer, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2I love how people will just reem all over Indy 4 but whenever Spielberg's name is attached to something they still go "oh boy!"
- kong27, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2lol. Since Tarantino also directed a scene in Sin City he should be on the list 3 times...
- warplayer, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2I think it makes perfect sense. I always saw that movie as having a dangerous duplicity. For people making a case against racism, it's a beautiful movie. But, the way it depicts white supremacist culture can be misconstrued by the wrong viewer, and could end up glorifying it for him. I believe this is a direct result of studio meddling, and why the director left the project before it was finished and tried to have his name removed.
The dinner table scene comes to mind particularly. I know people who actually agree with some of the assessments made by Ed Norton's character about the Rodney King beatings. These people aren't racists, but they are viewing an event through a certain perception of society that has hatred and mistrust at it's heart. It's an unknowing, sub conscience prejudice that I think many people retain now days. - gettarat, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2I love 4 Rooms. And never got that DGA rule.

- zohaibusman, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3the Matrix has me
- beautifulbeast, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Same here. And American History X is in the list too. I never thought there could have been discrepancies in the directing of such a great product.
- Antibland, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Multiple Directors...what a crippling disease.
- mastern, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Yeah really... Twilight Zone? Considering Spielberg directed one of the sections I thought it was certainly going to be mentioned.
- Nobiting, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2Why did you steal my avatar?
- mikec00l, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2I cant wait for the Tin Tin movie.
- Konwashere, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2They didn't mention Battle Royale 2!
- paulvq, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Spielberg only produced Band of Brothers, and it would be considered a TV mini-series.
It was still damn good. - t3hmyth, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2It's to prevent people from trying to take credit when it's not theirs; only "established duos" are given both director credits to prevent some no-name (who might be the son of an Executive producer) from attaching his name as director, and getting credit.
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -1/+2#13: Alex Jones. 9/11 was an INSIDE JOB!!!

- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1What about Finding Nemo?
- bloodwings, on 07/05/2008, -1/+2a better title would be '12 random movies on anoter ***** digg list to give my blog clicks'
- TwoKill, on 07/04/2008, -1/+2Interesting list, but isn't 4 Rooms and Sin City kind of obvious choices, since its fairly obvious that there are multiple directors for them.
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1MIRRAR anyone?
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -1/+2All these lists are meant for *****.
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -2/+2In Soviet Russia, lists makes you.
- masterm1nd, on 07/04/2008, -3/+2I forgot the first one already, but I remember it pissed me off.
- 801NvizioN, on 07/04/2008, -6/+3Some of those movies would be better with no director.
- Rudegar, on 07/04/2008, -4/+1no pr0n on the list it seems :P
