- whatthefu, on 04/24/2008, -7/+53I'm definitely looking more forward to The Dark Knight than I am to Wall-E.
- AshamedAmerican, on 04/24/2008, -1/+42#1 The Dark Knight
There, fixed it for ya. - RandomEyes, on 04/24/2008, -1/+26Does seem like there are a lot of good ones
- MaGCoL, on 04/24/2008, -3/+25Dugg for Indiana Jones.
- TriSight, on 04/24/2008, -0/+20Wall-E reminds me of the 80s.. it reminds me of Johnny 5 and Nintendo's Rob the Robot.
- andrewgreene, on 04/24/2008, -0/+20Ummm...can we still technically call them "The Wachowski Brothers"?
- whatsrequired, on 04/24/2008, -4/+21"You're a TEACHER?!"
"Part-time"
Sweeeeet. - TriSight, on 04/24/2008, -0/+15I can't say that I've ever seen a movie with Edward Norton that I didn't like. So I have high hopes on The Incredible Hulk.
- AshamedAmerican, on 04/24/2008, -1/+1610 top 10 lists that will get repeated on digg.
- scallon, on 04/24/2008, -4/+19Not being homophobic or trying to offend here, but you do realize that saying you wouldn't sleep with Angelina Jolie immediately qualifies you as being gay right? That's fine and all, I just wanted to make sure you understood the gravity of what you said.
- Charlotte_Web, on 04/24/2008, -0/+14How about the Chronic(what?)cles of Narnia?
- nico623, on 04/24/2008, -0/+13The Fall !! From the cinematographer of the Cell looks badass as hell
trailer: (not RR) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQt0QjWHUjY - bytor4232, on 04/24/2008, -1/+14Man, I'm going to be living at the theater this year:
Iron Man
Speed Racer
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
War, Inc. (aka Gross Point Blank II)
Kung Fu Panda
The Incredible Hulk
The Happening (Zooey Deschanel, Markey Mark, and Leguizamo? WIN!)
Get Smart
Hancock
The Dark Knight
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Tropic Thunder
Why can't they space these out!!! And I'll get no rest this fall with Death Race, Harry Potter, Madagascar II, Quantum of Solace, and possibly the new Punisher movie. - SquireCD, on 04/24/2008, -0/+12I'm not digging this, despite enjoying the article, and I'll tell you why -- I am fed up with web pages like NYT, New Yorker, MSNBC, and others that make you click "Next" for a second, third, or even forth page.
HEY, WEB DESIGNERS! THIS IS A WEB PAGE, NOT A BOOK! WE DON'T NEED MULTIPLE PAGES! IT WILL ALL FIT IN ONE LONG PAGE! IT IS ANNOYING TO FLIP PAGES ON A VIRTUAL BOOK!
So, yeah. I'm sorry, but I refuse to digg any story that makes you click 'next' to finish the article. It was good, but I just can't digg this. - Husky217, on 04/24/2008, -2/+14looks terrible imo.
- hammr, on 04/24/2008, -0/+11Buried for no "Get Smart"
- iamyak, on 04/24/2008, -0/+11Hey, get away from my windows.
- sfacets, on 04/24/2008, -2/+11WE want to see? If you say so random website, if you say so...
- nymphetamine, on 04/24/2008, -2/+11Because you touch yourself at night.
- drachemorder, on 04/24/2008, -6/+15Buried for ignoring Prince Caspian.
- inactive, on 04/24/2008, -0/+8what?!
Death to Smoochy was hilarious! - riversc, on 04/24/2008, -2/+10speed racer was on the list.. on the "5 That Make Us Nervous" part.
- mCanada, on 04/24/2008, -1/+8because 10.325 wouldn't make sense.
- bytor4232, on 04/24/2008, -1/+7No kidding. That movie is going to be fantastic.
- SlabbaJabba, on 04/24/2008, -1/+7I'm guessing you stopped at page 2.
- mcballz, on 04/24/2008, -1/+7Indiana Jones at spot # 5?
Hellboy at spot # 2??
Wall-E at # 1??
Not sure if I agree with the order of this list... but I dugg for the movies you did choose. - wacomwacoff, on 04/24/2008, -0/+5Wall-E's getting huge buzz, and every Pixar movie's been a huge hit so far. I think it deserves to be excited about.
- richgustavson, on 04/24/2008, -6/+11They're dead on with The Happening. Really interesting concept and trailer, but ohhhh M. Night..... I can tell he's gonna ***** it up somehow...
- trp5023, on 04/24/2008, -0/+5Looks very stylish! The use of very prominent primary colors on a washed out background was cool, reminded me of Hero...
- mikepictor, on 04/24/2008, -0/+5Ok, I hadn't heard of the movie until this list. So I watched the trailer, and YOU ARE BLIND.
You don't want, ok, that's your choice (though a strange one), but to attempt to lay the word ugly is a fallacy so big it would make the baby jesus cry.
She is smoking hot. - cleric85, on 04/24/2008, -1/+5Wanted looks like a ***** pile of *****. It seems like Angelina Jolie has two characters she can play, Angelina Jolie and Angelina Jolie with an accent. I hope I'm not alone on this one.
- skippyoh, on 04/24/2008, -2/+6I'll see any movie that was thought up under the influence of a pot-brownie.
- Charlotte_Web, on 04/24/2008, -0/+4Speed Racer was an anime.
They've essentially made a live-action anime. - timusca, on 04/24/2008, -1/+5I'm not a fanboi [sic] at all... and frankly didn't care for the first one. But I'm still digging you down because digging down ≠ fanboyism.
- Jektal, on 04/24/2008, -1/+5Signs is a just a religious story. I really really hated Signs and couldn't wrap my mind around how anyone involved ever thought it would be good until someone pointed that out.
The entire plot revolves solely around Mel Gibson's character finding his faith again. It is a direct hand-of-god thing, where everything in the world is orchestrated for one and only one reason: teaching a disenchanted believer to forgive god and reaccept him into his life.
As a non-believer, that just makes me hate the movie in a new way, but at least I can understand it now. - punkcat, on 04/24/2008, -0/+4interesting, hadn't heard of it before.
- o0joshua0o, on 04/24/2008, -1/+5I came to this realization as I watched it the first time, and this is why it made me want my money back. It was really a bait-and-switch. You think you're going to see a Sci-Fi movie, and you get a hokey religious story that goes out of its way to portray atheists offensively.
- morningchai, on 04/24/2008, -0/+4Just saw another TV commercial for Speed Racer... and it looks a lot stupider than I expected. Looks like "Shark Boy & Lava Girl". Ugh. It's too bad because I was actually looking forward to this one after I saw some of the early trailers.
- brownsound00, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3indiana jones.
- hockeyfighter09, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3Samesies
- CaptMonkey, on 04/24/2008, -2/+5That's not to mention the confirmed appearance of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and at least one reference to the Captain America super-soldier serum, which means it will be laying the groundwork for an Avengers movie!
- insanewriters, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3This is the first summer I can remember where there are too many movies I want to see.
And for you Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club) fans out there, the movie adaptation of Choke is coming out this summer too! - homercles337, on 04/24/2008, -2/+4Wow, you have some really bad taste in movies.
- FizzanoMatrix, on 04/24/2008, -3/+5"In fact, seeing the trailer was the funniest thing about Good Luck Chuck's run in theaters." Um, whoever says "Good Luck Chuck" in that situation instead of Rambo 4 has some issues.
- Zombi, on 04/24/2008, -0/+2You don't get out much do you?
- trer, on 04/24/2008, -0/+2That's how they make more money.
- rompom7, on 04/24/2008, -1/+3Same, but I'll be seeing Indiana Jones too, because even if the movie doesn't have the magic of the classics, I'll still be entertained for 120 minutes.
All the other movies look pretty lame. - inactive, on 04/24/2008, -1/+3Stepbrothers.
Really.
REALLY???
I was somewhat on board with his credibility until he admitted to being excited about the 2,789 version of an extended Will Ferrell skit. They should've stopped with Old School and Anchorman. Those two were the apex of his funny capabilities.
Pineapple Express looks like it will kick much ass, however. And yes, he gets an internet cookie for putting WALL-e at number one and including Clive Barker at all. - yanksn6, on 04/24/2008, -6/+8I think Hulk should be good as for it will follow the TV series unlike the latest one that came out a few years ago
