We're ready to play favorites. So, on that note, here are the ten movies we're most excited to see this summer, in order, followed by five biggies that make us nervous.

    Why can't they space these out!!! And I'll get no rest this fall with Death Race, Harry Potter, Madagascar II, Quantum of Solace, and possibly the new Punisher movie.

    HEY, WEB DESIGNERS! THIS IS A WEB PAGE, NOT A BOOK! WE DON'T NEED MULTIPLE PAGES! IT WILL ALL FIT IN ONE LONG PAGE! IT IS ANNOYING TO FLIP PAGES ON A VIRTUAL BOOK!

    So, yeah. I'm sorry, but I refuse to digg any story that makes you click 'next' to finish the article. It was good, but I just can't digg this.

  • Jektal, on 04/24/2008, -1/+5Signs is a just a religious story. I really really hated Signs and couldn't wrap my mind around how anyone involved ever thought it would be good until someone pointed that out.
    The entire plot revolves solely around Mel Gibson's character finding his faith again. It is a direct hand-of-god thing, where everything in the world is orchestrated for one and only one reason: teaching a disenchanted believer to forgive god and reaccept him into his life.
    As a non-believer, that just makes me hate the movie in a new way, but at least I can understand it now.

You think you're going to see a Sci-Fi movie, and you get a hokey religious story that goes out of its way to portray atheists offensively.

    REALLY???

    I was somewhat on board with his credibility until he admitted to being excited about the 2,789 version of an extended Will Ferrell skit. They should've stopped with Old School and Anchorman. Those two were the apex of his funny capabilities.

    Pineapple Express looks like it will kick much ass, however. And yes, he gets an internet cookie for putting WALL-e at number one and including Clive Barker at all.
