That movie is going to totally rock. - SilverBlade2k, on 09/18/2008, -7/+22What the hell? I don't want to see ANY on that list...except for Quantum of Solace. Everything else...not that excited about.
- NuttyVirus, on 09/18/2008, -2/+16W? are you kidding me. I have seen enough of him these last 8 years no thanks to that one. Quantum of Solace im down for that but the rest are ehhh maybe maybe not.
- cnot3, on 09/18/2008, -0/+13You know, the royal "we", man.
- inactive, on 09/17/2008, -7/+19The Curious Case of Benjamin Button looks like it will be the one to beat.
- JStille, on 09/18/2008, -4/+15Quantum of Solace FTW!!!
- doctordbx, on 09/18/2008, -8/+18I probably have my taste buds in my rectum but that list looks like *****.

I can't wait to see me and my mother naked.
That movie is going to totally rock. - IslandSaint, on 09/18/2008, -3/+11One word: The Road.
- aftern9ne, on 09/18/2008, -3/+11So where is the kungfoo/aliens/monsters/hobbits/guns/dicaprio?
Oh, theres Leo. List still sucks. - Grommy, on 09/18/2008, -0/+6At this point I'm just praying they don't ***** up The Road.
- Falkon, on 09/18/2008, -1/+7What, no Max Payne? =(
- inactive, on 09/18/2008, -0/+6I almost commit suicide during the previews for Wall-E thanks to Madagascar 2 and Bolt.
- zarvensha, on 09/18/2008, -0/+5Bond Fan, Quantam Of Solace. No substitute.
- Exzhaton, on 09/18/2008, -0/+5Thats two...
- inactive, on 09/18/2008, -0/+5Holy *****. The Road, if it stays somewhat true to the book, will be unbelieveable. I'm surprised Hollywood is even touching that book; it's so incredibly dark. And where's The Soloist on the list? :(
Oh yeah, and there's few things better than seeing a washed-up, broken actor redeem themselves. Looking forward to The Wrestler to see if Rourke pulls it off. - SpitRage, on 09/18/2008, -0/+410. W.
9. Revolutionary Road
8. Body of Lies
7. Slumdog Millionaire
6. Rachel Getting Married
5. The Road
4. The Wrestler
3. The Hurt Locker
2. Quantum of Solace
1. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - DrNovacaine, on 09/18/2008, -1/+5Wait, you want to see __________? That movie is going to suck.
___________ is going to be a much better movie than __________ - Trots, on 09/18/2008, -0/+4Edward Norton, Christian Bale, Russell Crowe, Jake Gyllenhaal, George Clooney
- FasmTrout, on 09/18/2008, -0/+4...you know, the editorial....
- MrJagil, on 09/18/2008, -0/+4I see too many crappy list on Digg these days... This one included
- Nuhaus, on 09/18/2008, -0/+3
I didn't even know this was being made into a movie. After looking up the director (John Hillcoat), whom I'd never heard of, I find he's made a western called The Proposition that has 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and is compared to Unforgiven, one of my all time favourite movies. The Road was really good (though not my favourite McCarthy novel). I'm hoping that if this new movie is successful, perhaps the director will come back and make Blood Meridian into a movie (my favourite McCarthy novel). Hoping it doesn't suck. - Hangly, on 09/18/2008, -0/+3new ***** has come to light!
- dezweber, on 09/18/2008, -0/+3I'd have to disagree. The Road is gonna knock their socks off.
- inactive, on 09/18/2008, -3/+6I thought the list was anti-exciting.
With the exception of bond, the list was all boring melodramas.
What about The Road? What about Brothers? What about all the other potentially kick ass movies coming out? Why did they focus only on the oscar suck ups?
Revolutionary Road looked about as interesting as the first, non-sinking half of Titanic. - Moosington, on 09/18/2008, -1/+4Says a man who obviously knows nothing of film.
- inactive, on 09/18/2008, -1/+4well, that's two words.
But also, I agree with you. That is going to kick the ***** out of every other movie on this list.
List sucks. - luket13, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2The Road was on that list, read the article next time.
- PawFox, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2Apart from Borat where that was filmed in: Kazakhstan
- Trots, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2His roles in October Sky, Donnie Darko, Jarhead, and even Brokeback Mountain outdoes anything Leo did.
- Jektal, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2I can't wait to see that pile of fail.
It will be horrible, I have no hopes for it. I will -still- pay to see it ASAP. - inactive, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2Brothers Bloom should definitly be in the top ten. I would give places or at least honorable mention to Pride and Glory, Doubt, and The Good the Bad and the Weird, as well...
- zombiepig, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2Huh? In Revolutionary Road they GET to France? Guess it's not gonna be very true to the original novel...
- john1108, on 09/18/2008, -1/+3First off these comments suck
Secondly did anyone think that Quantum of Solace Trailer gave away too much? - FasmTrout, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2=============== times infinity
- dezweber, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2The Proposition is an excellent film and I think Hillcoat will do The Road justice. Blood Meridian is currently in production, being directed by Todd Field: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0983189/. Both should be excellent films.
- 1807, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2Say what you will, but I have a feeling Leonardo DeCaprio is going to go down as one of the greatest actors of our generation.
- kitsua, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2*Autumn
- happywaffle, on 09/18/2008, -0/+2I just finished reading the book and then found out it was becoming a movie. I started to say, I don't know if a book with such a bleak outlook could be made into a watchable movie - but then I remembered, No Country for Old Men seemed to do okay for itself. :)
- zen17, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1WATCHMEN~!!!
- Shakermaker, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1Wait....Talking about Danny Boyle, the author says that Sunshine was a misfire? ***** me that was a good film....just because no one went to see it meant it was a "misfire".
- Jektal, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1Meh. It wasn't a "bad" movie, but it kind of felt like an Event Horizon rip off with even less explanation.
- Sabretou, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1...you mean, the editor....
- partyoverhaul, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1watchmen?
- dezweber, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1I love Baz Luhrmann, but I'm not so sure about that film...
- partyoverhaul, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1i retract that, didnt realize it was march release date
- MRintheKeys, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1@Sabretou Way to ruin a good thing.
- benburned, on 09/18/2008, -1/+2I don't give a damn about what the movies are, but dugg just for being on one page.
