- egbert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is not a SteadiCam at all. A SteadiCam is a mechinical device. This is called a "pogocam"
- infra172, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It matters because it is not new and therefore not interesting.
- danielson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For $14 bucks, that's a pretty damn good job of stabilizing the camera.
- maxmojo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just because it's old, doesn't mean everyone has seen it. I am not sure, why everyone thinks this site is only for the newest info out there, correct me please, but I don't think this site was even envisioned to be a news site. The site is a community where people can share the things they find interesting, age shouldn't matter. Secondly, If it's not interesting why bother commenting here. If slashdot had it 5 months ago, good for them! Put some thought into your comments...
- tommy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's not a steaycam if it doesn't "float" what this guy has is what we in the biz call "camera on a stick"
- billflu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is old, but I'm glad it was posted again because I just caught it the second time around. Some of my friends in film are going to like this one.
- nxtw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0maxmojo: Considering there's a report option for "old news", I think it is for newer info.
- G-RaZoR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If I remember correct, TSS had a steadicam along time ago that was like cheaper then $10. I will try and find that article.
- adml_shake, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0wow this is old...Wasn't this on slashdot around X-mas?
- fourzerofour, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Does it matter if it is old?
- pearbobber, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0god you guys (egbert, tommy, adml_shake), I can almost see the spittle forming in the corners of your mouths as your quick lispy chatter dribbles jabbing dorkness.
