first Purple Rain, now Red Tire Smoke
blog.hemmings.com — John Baldo of Cary, Illinois, stunned the crowd at Corvettes at Carlisle with this incredible burnout in his 1985 Corvette. He literally melted the Kumho tires, which are built with special dye to produce this plume of red smoke. The smoke was so intense, the photographers, myself included, had to back up.
