- MyNameDidintFit, on 07/28/2009, -1/+93Top Gear is so ***** awesome sometimes.
- snagglefoof, on 07/28/2009, -0/+74always*
- vincevaughn, on 07/29/2009, -0/+64the 370z is an awesome car for the price
- sexyman14, on 07/29/2009, -0/+37Testes! Big meaty ones!
- cnot3, on 07/28/2009, -5/+33Even though they are the primary means of conveyance for giant douchebags, BMW makes a damn fine automobile.
- Y0tsuya, on 07/29/2009, -6/+33Never took to the Z4. It just screams Mid Life Crisis.
- inactive, on 07/29/2009, -2/+21I'm sorry, but even Jeremy Clarkson agrees. Audis are the primary means of conveyance for giant douchebags.
- Oinkie, on 07/29/2009, -1/+18How can this show be *****? It's about cars, it has been about cars and it will always be about cars.
- newdigger, on 07/29/2009, -2/+19Meh, any real TG fan watched this live or grabbed the torrent from FinalGear...
- 350Zed, on 07/29/2009, -4/+21I'll still take the 370Z, thanks. The $$$ difference can't justify the Beemer... it never does.
Besides, Clarkson came down on the harshness of the 350Z, and does the same with the 370Z... but the harshness (or maybe better said as "rawness") is the best part of the experience! Who wants German sensibility when they're trying to go sideways? - gregdogum, on 07/29/2009, -3/+19No season of Top Gear is *****, pal.
- mablung, on 07/29/2009, -1/+17"It's Uma Thurmanish. Perfect, but you can't explain why." LOL
- convergent, on 07/29/2009, -3/+19I'd say the opposite for me. Both are beautiful cars though.
- OpCzar, on 07/29/2009, -0/+12I don't care if the comparisons aren't always unbiased. Top Gear is good entertainment.
- 350Zed, on 07/29/2009, -0/+12Since we can do big, nasty 300bhp burn-outs in the street in front of your house...
...MORE POWAH!!! - xKore, on 07/29/2009, -0/+11Not really, since the 370z was better.
- mydigglogin, on 07/29/2009, -2/+13The rev matching on downshifts sounds really interesting on the 370. I'm usually a purist who won't touch anything but a regular manual transmission, but I'm willing to give this one a try.
- nsingapu, on 07/29/2009, -2/+13Giant douchebags drive (in order of preference):
Hummers
Mustangs built after 1979
Corvettes
BMWs are choice for your more run of the mill douchbags. - FauOz, on 07/29/2009, -2/+12370z= 30k Z4= 55k both great cars, what's your budget? reach a little farther for a GT-R and win the gold ring...like Nuremberg winner
- rwbrinso, on 07/28/2009, -20/+30And the BMW wins because, well, it's a BMW.
- tofur, on 07/29/2009, -0/+10Best show on television...period.
- f0dder, on 07/29/2009, -0/+8You could always compensate by getting a Mac.
- swraman, on 07/29/2009, -2/+10z4 looks too...squished....for me. 370 looks sleek.
- Amazetbm, on 07/29/2009, -0/+8Zanarkand...V8's vs 6 cylinder's? That's not even an apples to apples comparison. In can any case there are only two respectable American Muscle cars out there that do more than go fast in a straight line, the Chevy Corvette and Dodge Viper...everything else is laughable.
- bigteebo, on 07/29/2009, -0/+8I love the auto-rev feature on the 370. Novel feature. Great for sometimes butterfingers like me.
- ricodued, on 07/29/2009, -1/+8I hope you're joking. The only reason Schumacher was on was so he could drive the Ferrari FXX. It's pretty well known that Schumacher is not the actual Stig but is probably Ben Collins.
- 08STI, on 07/29/2009, -2/+9I want a mattress made of chuck norris...
- Price, on 07/29/2009, -0/+7All we know is... He's called the stig!
(And he's highly contagious!) - lowdose, on 07/29/2009, -0/+7you named him Ed, how cute...
- LordBacon, on 07/29/2009, -1/+7no.
- FauOz, on 07/29/2009, -0/+6You know what the fox could not reach the grapes? Them grapes were sour!
- scairborn, on 07/29/2009, -4/+10BIG MEATY ONES!
- ehrahman, on 07/29/2009, -0/+5I'm all about the "Zed." ;^)
- gregdogum, on 07/29/2009, -0/+5Hey, you never know. It just could be.
- painting, on 07/29/2009, -1/+6hello everyone.
- bicyclethief, on 07/29/2009, -16/+21Shiiiiit. I'll take the BMW over the Nissan on aesthetics alone.
- richiewrt, on 07/29/2009, -0/+5"Its like getting home and flopping down on a sofa made of Chuck Noris"
- bearcat8543, on 07/29/2009, -0/+5damn i miss my old 300z"ed"
- Andrew84, on 07/29/2009, -1/+6Yeah in a boring ass drag race maybe. Anything else those cars are going to get the ***** kicked out of them
- silversurfer, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4http://www.topgearepisodesonline.com/
- EdgarG8, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4I've got a 350Z and I'm a big fan of the Nissan Z series. However the Z4 has the BMW name and with that name comes good performance, quality, etc. But I still don't like the design it reminds me of a Miata. The 370Z definitely has a much sporty design and looks more aggressive. I lean more towards the 370Z because I'm a fan and because the price is much less. If I were to go for a BMW I'd go with the M3. It's more than the Z4 but its an incredible piece of automobile.
- DubYaSee, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4Bugatti>BMW ?
$1,400,000>$60,000
duh - Phych, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4Since they started making more money than you.
- inactive, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4"I'll take american muscle versus any one of these cars any day"
Until you want to go round a corner. - mickstephenson, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4Because they have a sense of human perception, and realise that orange filters don't have the same effect?
- SMELLtheGluv, on 07/29/2009, -1/+5*Bimmer
"Beemers" are BMW bikes. - SMELLtheGluv, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4You made up for owning an E36 with that post.
- legoalert33, on 07/29/2009, -1/+5But why do they always make it blue filtered camera for every car review?
- aflury, on 07/29/2009, -0/+4The 135i is 3373lbs (source: bmwusa.com). That's only a couple hundred lbs lighter than a 335i *sedan* (3594lbs, same source) and barely lighter than the Z4 (3450lbs). I'd hardly call either "light as *****". Guess why... they're all based on the same platform -- engine, transmission, frame, etc. with different bodies/interiors.
Edit: I would gladly take any of the above. ;) - inactive, on 07/29/2009, -0/+3I don't have a sports car or anything exhilarating (the exception being my sports bike), but I drive/ride based on feel and noise. If the 370Z has a bit more road noise, that just means there's more for me to gauge the environment with. I don't have money for the either, but I lust after the 370Z and the old Datsuns.
