Why is it that subaru takes the engineering further, but seems to completely miss the boat on their exterior design? The recent faces of the impreza were not bad, they were okay, they still had essence of rally car. It had aggressive looks, and and somewhat unique styling. What the hell is this? essence of corolla with a hint of kia?
It's a good thing this designer has already been fired and a new CEO has come in. It's a shame that this new Fuji CEO has to come into such a *****. I hope he makes good on his promises to get in touch with the owner and enthusiast community, because the way it's going, subaru will be a brand that fades into bland and generic styling, the same way a lot of cars seemed to have gone these days. - djSyndrome, on 10/31/2007, -1/+2Don't fret too much: knowing Subaru, it'll have an entirely new front end in two years. The last-generation Impreza received more facelifts than Michael Jackson.

Let`s say a group of stupid designers came with that idea but how come the managers top of them approved that (sorry) a piece of *****-looking car. yes, taste varies from person to person but c`mon not in that case.

- kawi715, on 01/21/2008, -0/+0disapointed. what were they thinking when they designed the exterior of the car??! this is crap, if i wanted something like this i would buy a mazda. i loved these cars w/there old big spoiler, compact, fun looking car. in my mind i look to the sti as buying a race bred high reving machine.....NOT something that will have enough room for my groceries. it just doesn't look like a bad fast car (although stoping power, and handling have increased) i think the designer should be fired, bring back the days were the sti was a car intended for rally. also the top rmp is now around 6,800 i heard, it used to be 7,000...its just another example of how the RALLY CAR has become just another car. although i still think subie can turn it around and make an sti next year that actually looks like it has a set of balls!!
