- nowayhoseb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Schumie in the dry = amazing
Schumie in the rain= master - meebio, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Will everyone be required to stop at this corner during qualifying? ;-)
- Twist05, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11Does Bush get countries named after him for completing so many circuits of the Middle East?
- buckaroo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Nope, that would be England. Silverstone 1999.
- TheSeraph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Michael Jordan of F1.
- buckaroo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ya know what would be cool at the GP....
Get Schumi and Hakkinen to do a 5 lap demo run between the qualifying sessions ...
They weren't the greatest rivalry ever, but certain moves (The Overtake at Spa)
were very entertaining. - KragTheDigger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4/digging due to compound effect: Schumacher + F1 + Ferrari + Nurburgring.
- SKILLZTHATKILLS, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Shumi should have his name in every race..... at least once.... thats how bloody good he was! Forza Ferrari.
SCUDERIA FERRARI MARLBORO! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2or maybe Jordan is Schumacher of basketball?
- Obsession88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Michael Schumacher is the greatest driver ever!
- GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Just about every driver that has ever lived cheated, Senna did it more than once. People just have a go at Schumacher because he was obviously the best in his time.
Had Schumacher not decided to spend time with Ferrari getting them to the top he would have won about 10 drivers championships. People forget that Ferrari were distinctly average when he joined them. The battles between Schumacher in the underpowered Ferrari car and Hakkinen in the stunningly fast though temperament McClaren were possibly one of the greatest things in history. Mainly because Schumacher managed to force it right down to the wire in an obviously inferior vehicle (aided by some explosions of the McClaren car, Hakkinen and Coulthard were heros just for going in them given how often the engines exploded). - staticten, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yeah, i agree, but i really feel that "The Overtake at Spa" only happened because of stupid Ricardo Zonta, the guy literally stayed in the middle of the track.....what an idiot, saying he didn't see them coming from behind.

- trev0006, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Schumacher had a great carrier and has been very lucky not to get injured or even worse. Here is him in his own Ferrari FXX.

- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1more about this in
- IHaveIssues, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is that where he broke his leg?
- wreckingcru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I can only hope that some day I'm even remotely as successful in life as Schumi....
- SkullyCollins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, Your Thinking of Stowe corner at Silverstone - Time wise it was during the 1999 Formula One season.
(EDIT: Sorry, I had the comments sorted in "diggs" not date so I couldn't see that buckaroo had already answered IHaveIssues question) - Zique, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dugg just for mentioning the Spa pass. (For those who don't know about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KldKkMoTfAA )
- GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wet driving is the true measure of a great driver IMHO. In those sort of conditions it becomes less about the technology and more about the driver.
- nowayhoseb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2oh, excuse me and the prost vs. senna crashes...schumacher's career (all the tens of $millions of it) is not soiled.
- aplardi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I know this is a different man, but being a Batman fan I can't help but cringe when I hear the name "Schumacher - memories of rubber Bat-Nipples come flashing back to me.
- lysdexia, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Schumacher soiled his career with constant cheating - often enough with near deadly consequences. He rammed Damon Hill and Jacques Villenueve off the tracks in his desperation to win.
Ayrton Senna, Jackie Stewart, Nigell Mansell were all better and more exciting drivers than the automaton dullard could ever hope to be. - zolushkatykva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not very clever post, this is rubbish!! I'd better go and drink some vodka!!!
- lordsandwich, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4I first read the headline as Joel Schumacher directing The Hobbit. Now there's soda sprayed all over my monitor.
- whiledo, on 03/25/2009, -2/+1Damn. When I read the headline, I had a glimmer of hope that Joel Schumacher was going to box Uwe Boll. Thanks a lot, YouKnowWho.

- decepticrat, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2Is anyone else amazed that this got to the front page with only 15 diggs? Just curious.
- lysdexia, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Far from it.
