- MCGrunge1, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13A total redesign of the 911 would be the biggest travesty in history. :(
- gr3yn3t, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11that car is gorgeous.
- thebenchase, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11It's no De Lorean, that's for damn sure.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8I'm impressed when someone gets a DeLorean to 100 mph.
- scrimaxinc, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Baxter, you know I don't speak spanish!
- Pushkin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8322 km/h for the rest of us ...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10That car is giving me a total clue.
- Smog2k, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Gemballa and RUF have been doing this for years, still badass though....
@ baseballpm: if you're a Porsche enthusiast the distinction is clearly there. Put down the rice tuner magazine and look into some German engineering. - Jeffler, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7I take it you'd be in the DeLorean to see it, otherwise it'd be gone by 88...
- funkpucker, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4If a person was to have that kind of disposable cash laying around, I don't see why anyone would drive anything other than this. The spry beast with good looks and the goods to show up anyone anywhere, for that cheap, can't be beat.
Besides, I don't drive the Rols anyway, the 911 is a helluva daily driver. - lhughey, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7nice, but i gotta agree with baseballpm, it would be a lil more exciting if Porsche tweaked the designs of the 911s a lil more. I can tell the difference between a 993, 996 and 997, but as Jeremy Clarkson stated "Porsche designers have to be some of the laziest designers in the world". Yeah, yeah, I know the design is iconic, and i respect that, but a give me a lil more than a change of headlights and grills please.
on another note, its amazing how fast cars are becoming. There are several cars hitting the 200 mark right now. Im sure the blue devil will be tweaked so that it will hit the 200 also, especially considering that the Z06 does 197(?). - spawnfree, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4PORsCHE DID 911 !!!
- Sottilde, on 10/11/2007, -6/+10Porsche ist ein fantastisches, schnelles Auto. Es gefaellt mir...
- Trynemjoel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5But...but...global warming!
- Dracker, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3こんにちは!
- phufufoo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3sweet another car I can't afford without losing my home. oh well its always worth it
- The_Dude, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4I would rent my soul for this car.
- nite23, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Yes, but Gemballas, RUFs and other tuned cars are much more unreliable than factory Porsches...
- s1mph0ny, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Have you tried driving the GT3 in a simulation? The front end weighs so little that it understeers everywhere. The GT2 is actually a better track car, it's just not normally aspirated.
- DiggCommando, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Sadly, most of this car's buyers will never take it to the track and drive it exactly as they would a 911 Turbo or even a 911 s. For the track i'd take the 911 GT3 RS anyway.
- Nedlog23, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Good news = extraordinary performance machine with the looks to go along with it.
Bad news = another car I have to add to the list of cars I want but will never be able to afford. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Lamborghini has been AWD since the Diablo VT in 1993, and there are plenty of great awd track cars. Quit talking out your ass.
- Tabris, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2My clue's pointing over here.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Because its already perfect.
- datastorageguy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
- ThatEvilGuy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2They don't change it cause it's perfect.
Plus that shape is what defines a Porsche brand. - nite23, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4If it's not broken, don't fix it...
Appeal of Porsche design is that it's functional, not flashy... - Thud, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Yes, this is an incredible car. The 911 has always been a terrible idea, but with flawless execution. :-)
- peagle, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Any other irrelevant far more expensive supercar comparisons you'd like to make?
- bitmanx, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2There is no substitute.. nice ride..
- ThatEvilGuy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2911 is simply a brilliant car, it's a Lamborghini and Ferrari rivaling supercar that you can use everyday.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Lets follow your clue.
- craig4, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1then why did you click on this?
- darkNiGHTS, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I really don't think you can race Cadillac Escalades...
- Number23, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4Great, just what we need; another 500hp, gas guzzling, Detroit boy toy…
Wha…? It’s German?
Whoa! This thing RAWKS! - Artimusbill, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Why? Because the people who actually buy them (as opposed to just drooling over them) expect the car to look like a Porsche. The have had more powerful cars that didn't have that look that failed (928 anyone. Great car, ever very stylish. Just didn't look like a Porsche). I prefer the look of the previous generation turbo to this (and the current turbo). But it is an awesome looking car with the balance and power and quality to place it among the best sports cars out today. And all this from a Corvette fan :)
- arcrox, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Amazing what they've done with an RR platform.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Have you ever accidentally farted when you sneezed?
- jdhoover, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Anyone else think it reads like the Forza2 upgrade/tuning screens, and rightfully so - gorgeous car.
- phufufoo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0true its perfect. As an enthusiast I can tell the differences between all the porsches. Easy way to tell is that the newer ones are a tad wider and the lights are back to just circles.
- iVision, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0***** global warming
- Feldforschung, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Schön mal was deutsches auf der Frontpage zu sehen...
- Vrail, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Well it's a good thing you can't afford it. Saves you the horror.
- gr3yn3t, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1what?
- s1mph0ny, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Actually Lamborghini has recently turned into a poser supercar company. Audi made the whole line AWD, which makes it pretty well useless on a track.
- yaneq, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0i like the carrera gt a lot more..
- gigabyte3d, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Porsche has the laziest car designers. Why cant they change the design?
- marlonmunsen, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1cars are stupid
- iVision, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0I really don't like the panamera, it looks like the cayenne, but smushed
- slapded, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2and in 2009 the panamera drops. yes.
