- doktorrocket, on 05/04/2009, -2/+120we motorized unicycle riders have to always be on the lookout for things in the road that 2 wheeled posers take for granted every day.... ants, stiff breezes, shadows on the road, Calista Flockheart...
- vilago, on 05/04/2009, -1/+111we motorcycle riders have to always be on the lookout for things in the road that 4 wheeled cagers take for granted every day.... gravel/rocks, painted lines, oil slicks, david hasselhoff...
- divinediva, on 05/04/2009, -0/+71This remains the worst marshalling i have ever seen.
- SpeedStix, on 05/04/2009, -0/+58lol..oil on the Castrol curve...seems appropriate.
- junkieSaysNO, on 05/04/2009, -0/+58somebody getting fired...
- PeterFile, on 05/04/2009, -0/+43What was the aftermath of this? I'm curious what the track officials had to say after this pathetic mess.
- mysticalone, on 05/04/2009, -2/+41Yeah, it's like they are wearing some sort of protective gear that absorbs shocks and hold up to road rash. =/
- Laqueefa, on 05/04/2009, -2/+37Its insane how those guys just get up and walk off after skidding and tumbling across pavement at high speeds.
- FreckleEars, on 05/04/2009, -2/+35Ahh yes. I remember that first time I wiped out when David Hass... wait...
WTF? - jamdogg, on 05/04/2009, -2/+28Are you kidding? That's the longest I've watched bike racing ever! Ratings went through the roof!
- NakedJedi, on 05/04/2009, -4/+29They should add hidden oil patches on all races. This was much more fun to watch than a normal race.
- gunderoo, on 05/04/2009, -0/+24Dick Dastardly would be proud.
- chedabob, on 05/04/2009, -0/+21I liked how fitting it was that there was an oil spill on the Castrol corner.
- MCA2142, on 05/04/2009, -12/+31Andy: ......then I JIZZED on the track.
- ezflip, on 05/04/2009, -1/+20Come on, don't hassle the Hoff.
- hokie47, on 05/04/2009, -1/+18This is why I love digg.
- Laqueefa, on 05/04/2009, -0/+17Holy smokes, that explains it all!
- mysticalone, on 05/04/2009, -0/+17"STOP SHOOTING AT ME!" ?
- duewydo, on 05/04/2009, -1/+171999, Got... Got fired.
- knobbysideup, on 05/04/2009, -0/+13Yeah, but they don't break anything either. It's easy to snap a finger, wrist, ankle, knee at *MUCH* lower speeds. There's skill in knowing how to crash.
- Rikushix, on 05/04/2009, -1/+13Obvious troll is obvious.
- brownsound00, on 05/04/2009, -0/+12And bananas and red shells too
- wem003, on 05/04/2009, -0/+11They should have stopped the race after the first two or three crashes in the same turn that obviously looked like it wasn't the riders.
- MonoDede, on 05/04/2009, -1/+11Always gotta be on the lookout for the Hoff.
- profJohn, on 05/04/2009, -0/+9Well, when you seem 'em mid-turn, just be sure to resist your urge to tap the breaks or drop your throttle.
- Zoshchenko, on 05/04/2009, -0/+8The all need to get the "anti-oil-slick" perk that guy #1 had.
- DavidTurnbull, on 05/04/2009, -0/+7Coincidentally I just watched Idiocracy.
- themusicalduck, on 05/04/2009, -1/+7Just because you have to be a bit careful while riding one doesn't mean it's a bad idea. It's a bit like saying you shouldn't drive a car because those trees at the side of the road are pretty stiff and you never know when you might steer into one.
- inactive, on 05/04/2009, -0/+6No joke man, I've wiped out before from a VERY slight oil film on the road surface. The farther down you're dug into a turn, the more likely you are to lose it on a spot of oil. Once the tires lose grip, even for a split-second, you lose control. Done.
- strad2, on 05/04/2009, -3/+9Do you yourself magically morph into a 4-wheeled cager when it rains? Or would that like, totally be underneath you?
- Ventolin, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5I just bought my first bike and if I see any liquid or pebbles or anything like that on a hard turn I have to make, it terrifies me.
- sjmorris, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5Uhm, stop the race maybe?
- mbilalbhatti, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5Bad management
- BooDaddy69, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5Like you NEVER drive a car...right?
- Rikushix, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5Yes, they were waving one at the 0:30 mark.
- redeemed77, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5I came, I saw, I lol'd.
- TheNakedChef, on 05/05/2009, -0/+4For those who say that watching motorbikes are boring must have something wrong with their heads, here's some highlights from bit more than a week ago. Racing doesn't get more exciting than the shoulder to shoulder fight right to the chequered flag.

There's no need for crashes for racing to suspensful. And as someone who does get to race a motorbike (track days and club level), it doesn't get more exciting than doing it yourself. - inactive, on 05/04/2009, -0/+4tehehehe
- osok, on 05/04/2009, -0/+4and cats.. dont forget cats.. they can be very slippery in a corner with all that goo and soft fur..
- Awwzm, on 05/04/2009, -2/+6Dugg for the "ohhh....ohhhhhhh....OHHHHHHHHHH's"!
Pretty funn....AWWWWW NOOOOOOOO! - directedition, on 05/04/2009, -0/+4bunch of noobs. I've never been such an ***** before but i'm sure I could have spewed twice, even three times as much *****
- TheNakedChef, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3Since I've done the same thing at a race track, it's not fun, especially the bill. Also since you are so high on adrenalin it takes a while for the pain to kick in. Usually you will find out that something is broken when you try to pick up the bike. And leather + armour helps. As for the gear absorbing the shocks, it only does it for few joints. Everwhere else and it's your body absorbing the shock.
- i38warhawk, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3These bikers have good reason to be pissed, i hope someone lost their job over this
- lis880, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3GAME OVER YEAAAAAAAH!!!!!
- martoq, on 05/04/2009, -0/+3That should should have been reflagged. Horrible track marshalling.
- knobbysideup, on 05/04/2009, -0/+2roadies of the pedal variety too. Skinny tires at 120psi, and no real protective gear other than a helmet. The worst, as with you, is the other idiots on the road.
- wem003, on 05/04/2009, -1/+3As a rider myself, I am just saying safety on the track is more important. Just my opinion. I don't watch races hoping to see a crash. It's not nascar... :-)
- gixxer600, on 05/04/2009, -5/+7i logged in to thumb you down
- vilago, on 05/06/2009, -0/+240-100? Lame.
- mbelleghem, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2I rode a bright green Chris Walker replica ZX7R for years. *sigh*
Loved that bike. -
