- gmarsch, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24Look how happy that driver looks
- mayhemchaos, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23First pics of the 525 HP 2009 Cadillac CTS-V [PICS]....isn't that redundant?
- DraconWolf, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17I'm really excited at what the "turnaround" effort at GM is producing. We haven't seen cars like this out of them in a while. As a car enthusiast I can truly say that I'm glad GM is still around in this market. They're still creating cars for enthusiasts and the everyday joe alike -- Can Toyota say that? Yes, they make great people moving appliances but where is the spirit in their cars? Gone with the days of the Celica and Supra...
- avisgoth, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17You fail at identifying obvious camouflage. These are spy pics, not official releases.
- sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -3/+16I'd love to run myself over at a McDonalds with it sometime. That would be McAwesome.
- sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13There's a blonde in his lap. She's camouflaged too.
- sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -2/+14You guys still drive on the wrong side of the road over there. Giving you this kind of power would be irresponsible.
- loxx500, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10If you worried about gas price your not in Cadillac market anyway.
- DraconWolf, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Please...People who still are making these comments make themselves look like idiots. Yes, GM committed many sins in the past with quality but their latest fleet of vehicles (and future ones such as the Pontiac G8 etc) are LIGHTYEARS beyond anything they've created in the past. There is a reason that the automags and sites like Edmunds are very interested in what the General is doing. Stop spreading crap like this around...Its no longer true of GM.
- bassman12593, on 10/10/2007, -10/+18ehh... its ok
- DraconWolf, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Half of the fun of a fast car is the torque...That "pushes you in your seat" feeling. Its not going ridiculously fast that's fun...It's also how fast you can get up to the speed limit that is fun as well.
- voodoobru, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7from the guy who mentions good drivers car and the automatic only LS-F in the same breath.
- DoubtingThomas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6There is a purpose for the checkered paint job. It keeps you from forming a true image of what the car looks like. This is commonly known as camouflage.
- rockrapdude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6The rear of the car looks like *****.
- rootnik, on 10/10/2007, -4/+10I hope that checkered flag design is stock!
- jhnewt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6For those of you not understanding this comment, Cadillac's campaign slogan is something along the lines of, "When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?"
- Butros, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7270 hp on a stock '86 corolla suspension? Are you posting this from the grave?
- cawpin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Right....You are an idiot.
- Butros, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Yeah um Europe is made up of many different countries which all have different rules regarding which side of the road to drive on. Eg, France drives on the right side of the road, England drives on the wrong side er I mean left side.
- Procure, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I think I am the only one on earth that likes the previous generation CTS. It was smaller and sharper-looking. This one looks too much like an STS... :-(
I do enjoy, however, the engine, suspension, rear-end, and brakes of the new one far better though! :D - briantech, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Yeah... your '86 econo ***** box is totally going to beat a brand new, all wheel drive, 525 horsepower cadillac. Keep dreaming.
- MyDigitalSin, on 10/10/2007, -4/+9is it turning anyone on?
- blubberlump, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4You don't need one, it looks almost identical to every other CTS ever made. This one just has a crap load of power.
- loxx500, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I have heard that the CTS is fairly unreliable from several people and a few mechanics.. I haven't had any major problems yet.
- loxx500, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4but it's really ugly and they are talking about a hybrid supra?
- orangester, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3500 hp is nice. Spend about a grand on a smaller supercharger pulley, intake, and tune and you have your self a whole new car.
- DraconWolf, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4The GTO/G8 looks like a Holden because it IS a Holden. GM owns Holden.
- loxx500, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4WTF does "d" mean? Detroit?
- cawpin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3...and doesn't realize that the "V" at the end MEANS its a driver's car. The CTS-V is regularly called the 4-door Corvette. It is a driver's car, period.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Only 525HP? My level 100 Charizard could take that thing down no problem!
- loxx500, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4The handling on the CTS-v is pretty good I would imaging. I got a 2004 CTS and it handles really well (compared to my '98 Eclipse Spyder GS-t that I sold.).
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yeah um it was a joke...errr.. don't look too far into it.
- scrimaxinc, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4...but the race would have to take place before 5pm so you still have time to get that thing back to the museum before it closes.
- sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4There's an acme trunkmonkey in the SLS version. It's standard.
- Markpdotcom, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5Um, that's the point. Douche!
- ChromaVita, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I saw a very similar paint job on a Lamborghini recently...
- loxx500, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The rear end looks exactly like the previous model STS. I like the redesign better than my '04 though.
- rootstyle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Tell that to all the Civic and Sunfire drivers out there.
- brjndr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The CTS is a real driver's car. Check out Top Gear's Testing.

His complaints about the interior have been addressed in the new model. - jcaino, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3you realize that this car is basically competing with euro cars: audi, bmw, mercedes.
- exomni, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5The 2008 CTS Drives beautifuly.
- scoobycarolan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2it's supposed to. Thats the camo they use to hide the front end details
- cawpin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4WTF are you talking about? There isn't a HP limit in the US. The Corvette is already 505 HP and the 2009 SS/ZR1/Z07/whatever is 650.
- nimawin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2seriously... i wanted to clarify.. so there are PICS???
- damnyooneek, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5the M5 is naturally aspirated and will stomp on the CTS.
- Butros, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Yeah and speed limits are for losers in minivans and priuses, not performance cars with superior drivers and better suspension and braking...
- shootsfired, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Please tell me how you know it will not be near the performance of a M3 or RS4. The non V CTS is already setting benchmarks.
- cridz7, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3How about a Skyline GT-R or an STi?
- cawpin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Reply of the day. Awesome.
Also, antonio97b is a moron. His power to weight is better? So, you're car weighs HALF of what the CTS-V weighs? I think not. -
