- markymark1000, on 11/20/2008, -2/+29He is an AMAZING driver... and the STI is quite a car!
Even though it must have taken them 100 takes to make that, still extremely impressive... that guy on a segway has balls! - M4tchstickM4n, on 11/20/2008, -1/+23The sound of that engine was.... was... my bass tube was singing to me

How sick would that be? - mdaize, on 11/20/2008, -1/+11That car is used in various sanctioned rallies, stunt racing, etc....
Not only is it caged, its also completely reinforced and has the full compliment of safety features such as certified racing seat, 5-point harness, etc. - eric1071, on 11/20/2008, -1/+10Nice Playground !!
- DrDragun, on 11/20/2008, -3/+11If this video was the introduction to coefficient of friction lessons then I might have done better in physics.
Those slides were raw - hairyjim, on 11/20/2008, -1/+8Holy hell, Im not a big fan of this sort of thing but this really impressed me.

- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6the funny thing is you're being dugg down because most people have no clue what the hell NASIOC is; shout out to rex wagon owner's too.
- diceau, on 11/20/2008, -2/+8Not a car person, but that was awesome to watch.
Crazy segway stunt. - philars, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5awesome car
- XanthZeax, on 11/20/2008, -2/+7I came.
- schmitey, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5Is it just me or are most drifting competitions done with rear wheel drive cars? I didn't think maneuvers like that would even be possible in AWD, but if anything it looked like he had more control. Weird.
- SpoonDigg, on 11/20/2008, -2/+7that's ***** sick in so many levels.. man i gotta work on getting a scooby.. Ken can easily be a driver for the WRC rally races..
- PabloMac, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4In your mom's basement doesn't count.
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5...furthermore wish my subie was 500+ hp and sounded like a pussy magnet.
- rdwinder, on 11/20/2008, -3/+7if paulson saw this video im confident he would throw some bailout $$$ subaru's way, even if they didnt need it. Go subaru!

- revjustin2, on 11/20/2008, -2/+6I am not really into cars or racing or any of that, but I am here to tell you this much: that dude is one bad ass driver. Impressive to say the least.

- CIAVT, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4I believe the airfield in question is in Wendover NV.
Here's Ken ripping around Snowpark NZ with snowboarders in his Subi.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av0VsTxJd78 - Alias1431, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4That's how you drive a car, James.
- socialrebel, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4it's called DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differential)... we can adjust the torque distribution between the front and rear axles.
- inigomntoya, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4LOL @ Slow Down sign at 2:29
- GawtMilk, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4Death Race: Depressing Recession Edition
- chill613, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3RWD is the most common format for drifting, but in reality any car can be drifted.. just watch Keiichi Tsuchiya :)

- iamghost, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3wow
- DrDigg, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I was wondering that myself, thanks socialrebel for the answer. Can that be done on the fly?
- emptyo, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I've been an autocrosser for many years. That was KILLER driving. I'm sure it took a few takes, but I thought it was awesome. I'm going to buy some DC Shoes and a Subaru now.
- techobo, on 11/20/2008, -1/+4Don't tell me what to do. Dugg up.
- GianDoe, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3don't get me wrong - this ***** was the sickness, but no way it's stiggy. das shtig could have done this blindfolded in reverse, although i don't know if he'd know how to start the car at the beginning.
- wrestlingnrj, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Anyone else seen the video clip of him on the mountain driving around with snowboarders in DC's Mtn. Lab 1.5 video?
Ken Block is the man. - milkmit, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3somehow, I doubt that was all done in one take.
oh, and dc shoes suck. they were among the first to get all big and puffy and basketball-y back in the day, and I always liked to *feel* the board under my toes, not ride around on cushions. - cliffdavis, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3the factory DCCD is fairly limited in its ability to adjust the torque split at the center differential. Subaru.com says it will split about 59% to the rear of the car. Now, that is factory, most likely what you are seeing is some high $$$ rally differential. They can electronically vary torque split quite a bit more (even going full rear drive if wanted). The real difference here is the driver himself, the amount of horsepower the car puts out, and a proper rally e-brake. The added power allows the car to break traction and slide, while the hydraulic e-brake allows the rear wheels to completely lock allowing the car to make a very tight radius turn at speed without exploding said high $$$ center differential.
- MisterEX, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3At least we got it, schizogony.
- socialrebel, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3he IS a driver in the WRC rally races
