- dotlizard, on 11/24/2007, -1/+7are they actually going to sell replica steering wheels with no functionality outside of ... sitting there and having buttons on them ... for $2500?
i mean, are there people who would buy those? and if so, where do they live, i would like to stop by slap the ***** out of them. I'm sorry, I do see the reasons for owning, say, art, and nice furniture, and cool toys, but that? how does that in any way enrich one's life? i'm not saying it wouldn't, but if someone does understand it and can explain it to me that would be great.- neiltc13, on 11/24/2007, -2/+2No, they are selling them for £1249. It might be $2500 today but next week it will be different and the week after that it will be a different figure again. I resent this "let's convert everything to dollars" culture when they don't even list the original price for accuracy.
- dotlizard, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1ok then. "who would buy this for £1249?" -- my question still stands.

- mooseontheloose, on 11/24/2007, -6/+2How about a lobotomy, they need it. Better than Americans and NASCAR, anyway. I can't believe that rubbish sport is so popular, it's pathetic. Americans really never fail to disappoint.
- neiltc13, on 11/24/2007, -0/+3Well consdering McLaren is a UK company, I agree. Americans are disappointing for not having such cool stuff.
- flagg85, on 11/24/2007, -1/+1Too much money too little brains.
- neiltc13, on 11/24/2007, -1/+1That should actually be "Too much money, too few brains". I guess you have too few brains to work that one out though :)
- aflaks, on 11/24/2007, -1/+3how about a ferrari gear ratios list! A must have for all McLaren drivers
- neiltc13, on 11/24/2007, -1/+2Okay get it right please. The wheel is £1249 and the nose cone is £69.95. McLaren is a UK company and doesn't sell things in dollars (you didn't even say what kind of dollars it was either). They should offer Alonso everything and stop the favouritism.
- Glansbourg, on 11/24/2007, -1/+1I'm a so f-cking sick of every goddamn know-it-all on this stoopid ***** website. Visit www.mclarenshop.com from an American IP and your quote will be in US dollars. Either way, WTF does McLaren being an English (not UK) company have to do with what currency they deal in? OPEC uses dollars and last I checked the US wasn't part of it.

- AcousticBoom, on 11/24/2007, -1/+1I would hardly call $139 and $2,500 a tchotchke
