you have to remember, when both wrecks occurred both drivers were well beyond the speed limit.
and the car did what it was designed to do - keep the passenger cabin intact and the driver safe from the impact...fire is another story, however.

It's not about performance looks or anything like that. The Enzo is not the fastest street car but it is so perfect and it works so perfectly and its a culmination of so many years of work, Enzo Ferrari was an engineering genius even down to entering a V12 in the Le Mans for speed and a V4 for reliability. The man was (or is) a hero worthy of song, and this is a tribute to him, and thats something your Maserati, Bugatti, or even Koenigsegg doesn't have, and won't have. agreed, i have a subcription to autoweek and these accidents usually make the back page, this is the 3rd enzo that i've seen in 1/2 like that.
side note: if i had a car like that i would crash too. i mean damn, my parents focus has only 110hp and i put that in a guardrail driving all dangerous (don't try for another 5mph around hairpins when its raining). - JoeyDeacon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1On that road at 3.30 in the afternoon the traffic is normally so bad you can't do more than 5mph but better to crash there than a few miles down the road where you end up dropping off a cliff.
