- chkltcow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For you east coasters like me, you missed a similar event that I'm sure could have been fun (if I had found someone brave enough to enter with me). The BABE Rally... Big Apple to Big Easy... BABE :) It started out in NYC and ended up in New Orleans. The kicker of it was that you had to have a car that cost less than $250 to enter.
Now, granted, it's not track racing. Well, really, it's not racing at all. It's a road rally, BUT.. it would be a great chance to get out and have a blast with other nerds in cheap banger cars. It looks like the 2007 Rally is going across the Tail of the Dragon, too.... one of the most fun roads in the country.
