    This is a great DIY story on hacking old hardware. That it was revolutionary hardware (eat my shorts Negroponte and your 100.00 laptop) is part of the story as well.

    I have an eMate and a Newton (which sometimes serves web pages !) and I'll probably do this for the eMate. What a great gift to the community this hacker has given.

    The device gets many many hours on each charge although I'm sure powering this wireless device will reduce the time somewhat.
