- allisonaxe, on 10/12/2007, -6/+63just install windows on it...
- Sirocco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+53Oh yeah, that case + airport = instant cavity search.
- drvelocity, on 10/12/2007, -6/+50Dear God I would love to see the look on the TSA inspector's face when they see this thing going through the scanner.. and oh how the people would run if they actually pulled this thing out of the bag. :) I've had quite a few TSA power mongers treat me like a criminal at the airport (among some good ones as well) so I can't say I wouldn't be able to enjoy the hilarity.
Maybe if you gave a quick preliminary speech they'd let you through:
"Hey guys, before I put this through the scanner I have to let you know that I have a computer case in here which I've modded to look like a nuclear bomb - but I promise you it's just a computer. I mean if this really was a nuke I wouldn't be taking it on an airplane, would I? I mean, I'd just detonate it right here and take us all out. *Pulls out remote control startup for PC modded to look like a detonator*"
Right... - udiggit, on 10/12/2007, -2/+39I'm in awe, holy *****
- portwojc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+29It's only the best if the counter is in upside down and set to 52 hours.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23I think they can shoot you now for saying "nuclear bomb" in an airport.
- mage1129, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25I think you qualify for lamest post then
- swanny89, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22Lets just hope he doesn't pirate anything with it: imagine the fbi coming to the door and finding this sitting under his desk.
- CajunX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21Great Design, just don't try to fly with it.
- Namco, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20You thought wrong, this is a social news & bookmarking site. If you want news go to cnn.com.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+26I'd be more impressed if it actually exploded.
- naturalcauses, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18some one had a lot of free time, *****, i couldn't even begin to imagine how much time he put into that. THATS AWSOME!!

- zaggy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12+ for the Futurama reference :)
- mike_p, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11You might be in awe, but airport security is putting you in a holding cell for trying to fly with that thing. ;-)
- retral, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10It'd be an awesome conversational piece at say, a lan, but man I'd hate to be the one to lug that thing around.
- DaMacGamer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11lol, yeah i know. imagine bringing that to a LAN party, and then playing counter strike:rnrn"QUICK DIFFUSE THE BOMB!" "LAY DOWN SOME COVER FIRE!"
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Me too, espically when someone calls the police because "they have a bomb!"..
- ArchonMagnus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7So where do I send a resume?
- Namco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I was so ready to argue that this case was in fact not the best case mod ever, until I realized it was WMD... which is in fact the best case mod ever. I saw it part 1 on bit-tech last year. Awesome stuff!
- mondain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I had my doubts when I saw the title... but this mod takes the cake!
- EliW, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Ok, this is definately a neat case-mod ... great for Lan Parties ... not so good for airports.
- Jozer99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yeah. If you snoop around his site, you will see that he actually does this professionally, and is paid to make mods for computer company advertising. Still, the guy has skills.
- sbovisjb1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7THis guy has a lot of time on his hands, cause he GETS PAID to do this :) belive it or not people like this get paid 50-70K a year to screw around with technology for free and better yet KEEP IT :)
- twylight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Jack Bauer would not be fooled by that without the correct Uranium odor....
- EBFoxbat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5That case cost (in parts not including labor) more than all my PC hardware.
- NYC10004, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8Thanks drvelocity, I haven't laughed that hard in years.
- Denver80203, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8FEWrecksrnrnnn: Gee do you think so? Thanks for filling us in
- Mardala, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Screw the FBI, lets see the look on the RIAA's face when they find this.
- retral, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Gnome's projects are always very awesome. As are zapwizard's... if either of you are reading this: congrats, keep up the good work guys.
- Pimptastic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is the mostworthy case mod to get a Digg.
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ahhh! Creative is on there!
- neoDingo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5My thoughts exactly, can you imagine trying to explain it to a TSA agent.. hilarious ... DIGG
- Shibmaster75, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5After I read nearly 20 pages of his build process, I realized something, this dude is actually building a bomb....The amount of time this sucker spent on this mod is freaking insane, only someone that wants to blow something up, and do it big, would spend this kind of time on a computer case mod. Brilliant, Fantastic, and Holy Crap he needs a Girl..
- shortie446, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7PWND!
- codyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Look at the plus side, its like having a million watt power supply :-)
- mcmalayalam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4AMAZING!!! The level of creativity and skillz in this mod is simply astounding.

STFU - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2My favorite is still the HL2 one: http://www.techmanifesto.com/archives/2005/08/06/sickest-hl2-case-mod-yet/
- allisonaxe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3awewsome.
- dhughes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2 Love it, one of the best mods I've seen in a while.
But where is the blue wire? All I see are red wires, everyone knows you cut the blue wire to diffuse an atomic bomb pfft. - SpamDog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2plasma cutter = $2000
dremel wheels x 20 = $200 max - Nighthawke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Love the workmanship he has done with it! One thing tho; why did he burn a ton of dremel wheels like that when he could have bought/borrowed/begged a plasma cutter to do the holes in the case? Having a tool like that would have saved several hours and mucho bucks . In any case, that scratch build ranks up there with Mashie's Y2K bug buildup and CrimsonSky's Doom3 case mod.
- somerandomnerd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Better. Spelling. Ever.
- BigPapi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2For once the digger is right. That would be the BEST casemod I've ever seen!
