- Louis11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Lucky for him, it looks like it only turns from left to right...
- anareric, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5What a square.
- thegsa, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1hell yeah, i'm gonna make this!
- bekeleven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Dugg for campiness. See http://fredbenenson.com/rubiksdrawing.jpg to get what I mean.
- Supernova36, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It's cool, but frankly I couldn't be bothered. And you couldn't use it more than once because people would expect something better and brand you a failure. Damn you world!
- thegsa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1maybe an original gameboy with working lcd, nah

- thegsa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1maybe an original gameboy with working lcd, nah
- Xarou, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I can solve him in a minute and 40 seconds.
- postitnote, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6That's naaaaaaaaaaaaasty.
- BrasilianMK, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1LOL _ It just turns on 1 axis, ITS A FAKE!!!!!!!
- 4degrees, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7hello awkward mobility!
- elhaf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13My son was a Rook one year. He only allowed himself to move orthogonally in the plane.
- Cruelapollo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7"The 'Bishop' came to our church last Sunday. Man, that guy was an imposter! He didn't once move diagonally."
Off-topic, I know. But I had to toss that in there.
- krackle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That was pretty sweet, but come on it should have at least 2 axises of rotation. Then you could get pretty girls (and boys if necessary) to help solve your problems.
- thtroyer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Hey look, a Rubiks cube I can solve!
- benshariff, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2somebody is going to hit him with a hammer.
- babakm, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Ummm... how is he going to drink his drink?
- patjk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That is pretty cool.
- ollj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1original.
looks uncomfortable and heavy.
somehow i was accepting more than 3 segment and 4 rotational axes. - PDubNYC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Hope he's wearing a diaper under there or he's gonna have a much bigger problem to solve.
- AriaStar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Pretty sexy. What girl wouldn't want to play around with him? ;)
- ZennZero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Pretty cool, but this is only low budget if you don't value your time. It looks like it took him a while.
- paulrenegar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Cute guy :) I'd like to try and solve him :)
- Suplyndmnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I hope noone tried to twist him so his pieces popped off so they could reassmble him. What? Dont act like you didn't all do that too.
Also, does anyone remember something along the lines of the flat rubix cube? I remember it was flat and folded in weird ways and such and it was like a 2 square by 4 square rectangle. Anyone?- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yep, it had colorful curves. I forget what it was called. It was popular too!!
- Suplyndmnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was the one! Yeah, I think mine broke from me trying to mess with it learning how it did the folding crap. Apparently, we're the only ones who had this so I dont know how popular it was. :) heh
- bitbytebit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Rubiks magic rings .. it was pretty cool. Missing link was awesome too.
- Suplyndmnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd dig you up a 100 times if I could sir! Thank you that's it! I thought I remembered it different colors but that was about 20 years ago.
- u8myfoood, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1now to turn him so his head is where his ass belongs
- perogi21, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Merry looks like she's got a nice pair of knockers.
- datapimp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow,
I went out as the rubik cube back in the 80's when I was a little kid... cannot believe this guy stole my costume from back then. - id000001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Too many cute costume these day!
This bring back all the painful memory of solving that stupid thing.. x.x
Nice to see a halloween costume that actually give people nightmare for once - mecredis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I modeled the colors as closely as I could to a real cube's colors (Staples only had so many shades of Orange and Yellow).
As for adding another axis of rotation... I thought about it for a long time, drew many sketches, but just couldn't make it work without a lot of extra work.
Let me know if you guys have any other questions, and thanks for digging!
-Fred
PS: Keep an eye out for my costume this year...I'm currently planning it.
