- Tyrghast, on 08/10/2008, -1/+43I'm glad he said it was a broken NES, because a working one is much cooler and more valuable.
- zugzug, on 08/10/2008, -2/+36Dugg for the Sasquatch
- davidbeile, on 08/10/2008, -2/+31Or you could just play games on it.
- MasterThief117, on 08/10/2008, -4/+27A broken NES should get a proper burial, not be converted into a lunchbox.
- devila2208, on 08/10/2008, -2/+25I can't bring myself to do this to my NES, but if I had an extra one, I'd do it for sure.
- ddmurphy, on 08/10/2008, -0/+21Awsome - perhaps leave the power cord and metal plate installed to re-heat at the appropriate time.
- rebug, on 08/10/2008, -3/+22No latch, no handle, no thermos compartment.
Two halves of a box hinged together doth not a lunchbox make. - firebirdx01, on 08/10/2008, -0/+15As sad as this was, the Sasquatch poses rocked. He sure looked tired.
- elizabethb221, on 08/10/2008, -4/+17This hurts me to look at. I would never treat my NES this way.
- rockandrollmark, on 08/10/2008, -0/+11It'll soon be time to defrost the freezer.
- Culyt, on 08/10/2008, -0/+10Would be cooler if the power button was used to open it.
- chmcarro, on 08/10/2008, -0/+10No latch?!
- JonTheGoose, on 08/10/2008, -0/+9My NES still works and the damn thing is over 20 years old.
- restlessmouse, on 08/10/2008, -0/+9Dugg for being action-figure assisted.
- Zuranaken, on 08/10/2008, -5/+14There would be more space for your lunch if you used a Xbox instead ;)
Not to mention, you wouldn't be wasting a valuable NES. - Frejesal, on 08/10/2008, -1/+9This reminds me of the plain green and white igloo lunchbox cooler that I used from first grade to sophomore year in highshool. I recently left it at a park, and I still cry a little when I think about it.
- frostw, on 08/10/2008, -2/+8It's a box and it's holding his lunch - it's a lunchbox.
- mushoo, on 08/10/2008, -0/+6My exact same sentiment. He would have gotten a better result with a gamecube.
- ZeeZee2k, on 08/10/2008, -1/+7nerdiness at its finest.
- Frejesal, on 08/10/2008, -0/+5Nope. The 10 other people in my highschool are all as cool as me. :)
- alpharaptor, on 08/10/2008, -0/+5you know you've stumbled onto something good when the article begins with "I had a broken NES, a rotary tool, two small hinges, some glue and Alpha Flight's Sasquatch."
- inactive, on 08/10/2008, -0/+4Imagine if the was some kind of internet auction site where you could buy one for next to nothing.....
- inactive, on 08/10/2008, -0/+4This is all well and good. I love the idea but this is really lacking polish. There's the latch made from the front buttons, a hinge made from the cartridge acceptor... You know, something that takes it over the top...
- repick3, on 08/10/2008, -1/+5DAMNIT! I KNEW THAT CUBE WAS GOOD FOR SOMETHING.
- NecroSexy, on 08/10/2008, -0/+4Forsooth.
- drewniverse, on 08/10/2008, -1/+5No matter what. All you youngens out there just don't understand, when I was your age or maybe 10 years younger (elementary school) I would love to tote around a freaking Nintendo lunchbox!! As a matter of fact I have 1 broken one and 1 working Nintendo, so I think I'm going to do something like that.. I'll get a little fancy. Be sure to see my post in a couple weeks guys.
- DarkenKO, on 08/10/2008, -0/+3yeah, but does it run crysis?
- AeonTorpor, on 08/10/2008, -1/+4Proper burial = Target practice? After all, that's where most of us began to duck hunt.
- TomTruelle, on 08/10/2008, -1/+4If you dont and eat it anyway, you'll see a ton of squiggly blue lines...
- inactive, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2It's like selling your body for science...
- Tarokun, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2Dugg for bringing a tear to my eye.
- completerobot, on 08/10/2008, -1/+3I've been trying to figure out what I should do with my extra Gamecube. This is as good an idea as any.
- devila2208, on 08/11/2008, -0/+2Touchè.
- daschupa, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2Next up: how to repurpose your xbox as a briefcase.
- Whitey07, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2I loved my NES, but now it's broken I see the one true use.
- BrokenCircle, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2I was the coolest ***** guy in my entire home school class. My mom told me herself... right before dad left.
- alefox, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2I did it with a gamecube I bought at EB games for $30
- TomJL, on 09/10/2009, -0/+1I was going to do it with a gamecube but i couldn't unscrew the damn screws at the bottom because they don't take a standard screwdriver.
- supermanred, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1They're dolls dude.
- JudgeMonkey, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1If purpose isn't a noun, as you say, then you aren't renouning it. Regardless, Merriam-Webster says it's a word and they have a little more push in this department.

However, I totally would buy and enjoy a Baconz Edition Dictionary. Damn, sounds delicious AND informative. - alefox, on 08/11/2008, -0/+1bic pen and a lighter are ur friends :)
- badassninja, on 08/10/2008, -1/+2http://www.jandar.net/nes72pin/
What the ***** man? Have you no respect at all? Busted NES's can be fixed. I have never seen a NES that just didn't need a new cheap pin connector. They are cheap and super easy to replace. Does this person have no soul? - Pundan, on 08/10/2008, -1/+2Blasphemy. Buried.
- supermanred, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1Yeah some kid would love to play games on it. I mean, don't give the 4 year old a 360 to play with but give them super mario brothers and you have them entertained for an hour at least.
- JudgeMonkey, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1Hell, yea. So do my Atari and even a PONG system I have stowed away.
- donna1234, on 10/23/2008, -0/+1Fun stuff:

http://www.webthe.info - supermanred, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1That would be even dumber, seeing as you can run Linux on it or use it with Xbox media centre to stream video and pictures to your tv.
- enderiii, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1especially no nerdy friends.
