    I'm not a Mac fan boy but be prepared to be called one for daring to go against a PC fan boy!

    Perhaps one day we will live in a world where difference of opinion is valued?

  • FreckleEars, on 04/09/2009, -1/+3I gotta wonder if you can call it a case mod. If I build a small dog house but instead of putting a dog in it, I put an entire computer hardware system in it, does it make it a case mod... or a really crazy dog house?

    I am not bashing the guy at all! Not saying that =P. I am just saying... without the hardware, it is a fully functioning piece of art. It is along the lines of a real live action Wall-E model. It is not like there was an original shuttle tower case he went on. He actually built a "to scale" version of Wall-E and put the components in the finished product.

    Most case mods are actual cases that have been modded; not a several thousand dollar's worth of aluminum custom CNC'd to look like a robot from a movie. What he done is the same as some guy CNC'ing a mountain bike frame from aluminum, then making the crack and rims etc and then adding the brackets so a motherboard can be added to it.

    AWESOME artwork though. What a cost to the builder! =O
    What a place to put computer components in!
