- JoeNaguib, on 11/08/2009, -5/+199Those kids really didn't want to be in those mech suits.
Dugg for nerds living vicariously through their kids. - JlmAWP, on 11/09/2009, -1/+165"My dad's a fireman!"
"Oh yeah? My dad's a nerd." - droplister, on 11/08/2009, -0/+137I'm against any costume that hinders my ability to carry copious amounts of candy.
But I do support any costume that makes boring tasks like walking look and feel amazing. - danosaurus, on 11/09/2009, -0/+97Why am I over the age of 21 and jealous...
- Navicerts, on 11/09/2009, -1/+63Candy storage areas: Installed.
- thinboyslim, on 11/09/2009, -5/+55Aren't you a little short for an AT-ST?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONfZ6keP7eI - Navicerts, on 11/09/2009, -1/+26From the description:
"This is Neville wearing his requested "Thanatos" mech costume made of cardboard and toilet paper rolls and spray paint." - Navicerts, on 11/09/2009, -1/+20Why because he spent an ass load of time making the costume his son requested?
- jftitan, on 11/09/2009, -0/+17because you were born over 21 years ago, and you just saw someone in a better costume that you this Halloween. oh and, I'm jealous too... and I was born over 26 years ago.
- NJank, on 11/09/2009, -0/+15pew pew pew pew...
- photochopped, on 11/09/2009, -0/+15October 1st:
Son: "Dad I want to be Thanatos for Halloween!"
Dad: "Alright son, I'll make the best one I can!"
October 30th:
Dad: "I did it! It's a perfect copy!"
Son: "Dad I wanna be Spider-man for Halloween!" - ender1984, on 11/09/2009, -0/+14I dunno. What kid would want to walk around as a Thanatos? If it were me, I'd want a mech that looked cooler, like a Mad Dog or an Atlas.
- Tyrghast, on 11/09/2009, -0/+13I was around that age (or more likely a few years older now that I think about it) when my dad brought home a Pentium II and a copy of Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries. Not only was the game mindblowingly awesome, if you stuck it in a stereo you could listen to all the audio tracks from the game (all of which were blaring guitar solos and heroic themes)
- greevar, on 11/09/2009, -0/+13A heavy metal soundtrack for a heavy metal game? Surely you jest!?
- arestme, on 11/09/2009, -0/+11Bet he only made it too 3 houses before he couldn't walk anymore.
- JediPilot, on 11/09/2009, -0/+9I'd take that over CGI any day. That's amazing.
- NJank, on 11/09/2009, -1/+9nah, kid's obviously got no weapons. used all the slots on heatsinks. he'll make it through the neighborhood. the lack of a spare cargo bay might hinder the candy collection though.
- Awwzm, on 11/09/2009, -2/+10Actually, you're right. Turns out I'm the ***** :(
I wish I could digg myself down. - axalon, on 11/09/2009, -3/+10That would be the worst thing to walk around trick or treating in
- Thermador, on 11/09/2009, -0/+6He better watch out, generating too much heat. Might have to power down.
- Princeamor, on 11/09/2009, -1/+7Weed makes boring tasks like walking look and feel amazing.
- volacide, on 11/09/2009, -0/+6Nah, he's definitely browsing his new flight schedule on the HUD though.

- appleofdischord, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2An Atlas? Really?
It's just like a giant humanoid robot.
I think a thor/summoner would be my first choice. It was in the video games at least. - Eupatorus, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2I read an article about it. First vid I have seen though. It was at a museum in the UK, I think?
