story buried. - chrisinsocalif, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9I don't check my emails, the paper, phone and so on. It's called being lazy.
- heythisismyname, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6well you could alwasy quit your job, throw out your phone, leave your house, and move to a tent out in the woods
- mnowack, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5This is utter diggspam. This article http://www.ivygateblog.com/blog/tags/aleksey_vayner/ is about how this guy makes Alesky Vaynor (the Impossible is Nothing guy) look sane.
Buried as Spam - CloudNine, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Syncophantic comments are such wonderful things!
- VinceNoir, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Correction. "Lifehacks" has been appropriated by the geek wannabes. Typically they are "hipsters" who think they have geek cred because they have PDAs, and think of themselves as business people even though it's an utter mystery what it is they actually do. These are business folks claiming to be geeky. Real geeks are into computers and build their own stuff. End of story.
- mc7winkie, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4I completely disagree with the no cash idea. Most places, especially restaurants, prefer you pay in cash.
- Lancer383, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Anyone find it funny that his book "The Four-Hour Work Week" is written on paper?
- drsox, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Useless to me as all the services are in the usa! Im in the uk.
Otherwise I would digg - msaleem, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5http://dotcache.com/http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2007/06/14/how-to-do-the-impossible-create-a-paperless-life-never-check-voicemail-again-never-return-another-phone-call/

There's an example of "near 90% transcription accuracy". Yuck! - RollandoMota, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5The site is DOWN any mirrors.
- audiowizard, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Dang, I read 'How to Never Touch Toilet Paper'.
I was excited. - Claw787, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2No wonder the article is coming from FourHourWorkWeek.com.*
- fspressonline, on 10/20/2008, -0/+0Timely article, even it was written over a year ago. I never realized I implement many strategies outlined in the article.
- rockrapdude, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2About the credit card: good luck in India.
- skforlee, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I've been following this guy now for a while. Must say I wish I were brave enough to try all of this out.
- jflower04, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I tried out the Pinger service and I love it. Now me and a lot of my friends use it. They do not send me junk or anything. It just works.
- SenatorLampoon, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1I love these re-packaged tips from Heloise type articles. I've tons of good ideas like these.
For instance, if you want to save big bucks on your clothing budget, do like I do. I buy long sleeve shirts in the spring when they are on sale real cheap. If you shop at my favorite store, JC Penneys, it's almost like stealing them. I get great shirts for as little as $5 apiece. Then, I cut the sleeves off, and I've got my new summer wardrobe for like 1/5th the price of regular.
Likewise, in the fall, I buy short sleeve shirts on sale at the same just like stealing price. I then sow on the long sleeves I cut off in the spring and I'm all set with my winter fashion.
And if you use the JC Pennys charge, you never have to carry any money.
See how all this ties in as if it were real? - mountaincable, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0If any of my goals encompassed getting away from phonecalls, voicemail and paper, I would first start by getting away from technology and on track to a stress free lifestyle.
- soulexchange, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Paperless/Cashless society?
Sounds like a scary scenario where there will be no paper record keeping, hard copies, and in the case of a server crash...No email, postal mail, or even text/voicemail to your account.
Sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. All we need to do as a society now is sleep-walk into this technological dependence. - Alpione, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1"Lifehacks?" Ugh, we've really gone down the nerd crapper this time... :-)
- tbrad054, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0oh hey, whats up identity theft?
- DangerMouse9, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0wow! thanks for letting me digg you down st3phan!
- leonardklaatu, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3Short of faking your death - something I've been quite tempted with for years - I guess these strategies are best. Great resources.

Bidet to you too, sir. - ggidster, on 10/11/2007, -14/+7That's a great article, and you have to love the attitude behind it:-
"Forget the paperless office — it’s aiming too low. Let’s take a look at the bigger picture: a paperless life." - dixonge, on 10/11/2007, -12/+2One article - and I have at least six tabs open for further research. I'm gonna need more tabs!
- robwitham, on 10/11/2007, -13/+2Fantastic tips from a 'thinking outside the box' author. Lifestyle design is such a wonderful thing!
- petermu, on 10/11/2007, -15/+2another great post by Snr. Tim
- skforlee, on 10/11/2007, -14/+1Thanks. Great article Tim!
- TheWalkingDude, on 10/11/2007, -25/+7I like cash. It's still the fastest way through a check out line, and I don't care for leaving an electronic record of my purchases or routine. /readjusts tin foil hat
