- grapesofbaath, on 12/05/2007, -0/+1Diggers use the word hack to mean modification of ANYTHING, instead of just unsanctioned program code alteration for the sake of a goal, which is what it has traditionally meant. In the end "hacking" was slang to start with, so I guess it's okay for it to evolve, but personally I think it makes people sound like complete idiots when they use it to mean modification of anything.
