- cyberzerocool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is sweet indeed. I love this, FON used to give away the WRT54G routers too, they were hackable also.
Peace out - westiedog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This guide was awesome! Worked like a charm!

- theplop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Got mine in the mail today, went through the guide, works like a champ! CodedChaos, you da man!
(did i mention it was free? free router, and free shipping!)
note:
When your tftp'ing firmware to the router and it drops your connection, you have to pull the power before you can connect to it again. (but be sure to wait 10-15 min just in case its not done with the command yet)
the other trick was connecting it directly to the internet to wget the files. The best way would be to bypass your router and hook straight up to the net. - shorty0boy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0If you are looking for a guide to hacking the Fon, this is the most detailed (with screenshots).
