Direct link to the How-To - Psykus2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Seriously, start linking to the source, not some blog that adds absolutely *nothing* to the original story. If you found it through the blog, link directly to the source in the Digg submission, and then put where you found it in the comments.
Unless of course you created the blog post just to link it on Digg, in that case don't submit it at all :( - sikosmurf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Look, the point of this, as with most mods, is not for practicality or cost efficiency. The point of this is for novelty so you can be the first on your block using a wireless NES controller to play Wii. Nothing more, nothing less.
- Psykus2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Not wireless, which is pretty much the point of this project.
- Psykus2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Never mind, separate page. It's a custom receiver. http://www.ppl-pilot.com/receiver.htm
- mississippiman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I feel ya buddy, i was thinking the same thing. I glanced over it and i was like "Where the hell is the receiver"
- Psykus2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How do these actually transmit to the console? It says they're Gamecube/Wii compatible, so is the wireless received with a Wavebird receiver or what? The article never explains..
- theragu40, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't know about 'better', but definitely cooler. It would really only be good for non-3D games. So in that respect it has very limited use...but it's still a pretty neat idea. Personally, I'd rather have the SNES version: http://www.ppl-pilot.com/snes_asm.htm
- h0dg3s, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Please stop blogspamming digg.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For 50 bucks this is a brand new Wii game, no thanks.
- vall3yman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mother *****, I was expecting a wireless controller that i could actually use with my NES, damn title shuold mention that it is for the Wii, got my hopes up for nothing. :(
- theragu40, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Did you read any of the article at all?

- Murfshay22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it's explained. theres a heading that says recharging... and links to the directions in the wireless SNES controller... its part of the jack on the top.
- thedogroxie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i wish Nintendo would make one
- griffindj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Does it ever say how you're supposed to recharge that ipod mini battery? Otherwise a pretty cool controller for the 10 hours of use you'll get from it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"damn title shuold mention that it is for the Wii"
uh, the description sure did, you lazy ***** git - Ephraim2007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0whoops, im retarded, i just skimmed through it and didnt notice the link to the SNES one.
- crazedape, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2so much better than the Wii classic controller
- combatcupcake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All this poster knows how to do is link to blogs. check his profile
- gjcomputer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1what about recharging the thing for when the battery dies?
- Ephraim2007, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0yea i was just about to ask this, recharging options dont seem to be available, or documented how to wire it up for such.
- honeymustardn, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Cheaper just to buy the adapter from retrozone.com - that's what I have and it works wonders.
- teddyrux, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Total: AU$68 (~US50)
I'd be more inclined to do this if it cost less than the 'original' controller by Nintendo. - honeymustardn, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0retrousb.com rather :(
- cintronben, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Make them for $10 and I'll buy one.
- strikerK, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2this is very old, but i'll still digg because its awesome
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Or an actually NES itself.
